La adherencia de los profesionales de la unidad de cuidados intensivos (UCI) de adultos de nuestro hospital a una correcta higiene de manos no ha mejorado de manera sustancial los últimos años, a pesar de los ciclos de formación teórica realizados. El objetivo de nuestro estudio fue explorar el conocimiento, las actitudes y las prácticas en el cumplimiento diario de la higiene de manos en los profesionales de dicha unidad.

A notable proportion of COVID outbreaks are generated by “super-spreading events”, where a few subjects transmit the pathogen to many secondary cases, increasing contact networks and the spread of the pathogen. We conducted a description of a COVID-19 superspreading event in Córdoba during July 2020, linked to a nightlife establishment.

La seguridad del paciente es un objetivo de calidad y una prioridad en la asistencia sanitaria. La mayoría de las investigaciones se han centrado en el ámbito hospitalario y desde la perspectiva del profesional. El objetivo de nuestro trabajo es conocer la opinión del paciente que acude a atención primaria respecto a su seguridad en este ámbito.
