Abstract

The article presents an alternative other that the most committed annexin V (ANXV) for the annexins (ANX) based chimera without elaboration of linker construction. ANXs are a family of calcium dependent phospholipid binding proteins. ANXV and annexin XI were individually fused to the C-terminal of staphylokinase, a fibrin-selective thrombolytic protein, to form chimeras for evaluation of their in-vitro thrombolytic activities.
