A variety of new N-(5-(benzofuranol-7-oxymethyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)amide compounds (8a-i) were synthesized through four steps from benzofuranol as raw materials. The crystal structure of compound 8a(C17H21N3O3S, Mr=347.43) was measured by X-ray diffraction, which was classified as monoclinic system, Z= 4, V =1742.72(8) Å3, Dc=1.324 Mg/m3, F(000) = 736, S =1.03, µ = 0.21 mm−1, space group P21with a =9.9177(3), b =8.9519(2), c =19.8679(5) Å, the final R =0.035 and wR =0.105 for 3873 observed reflections (I> 2σ(I)).The X-ray structure presented N(3)–H(3)···N(2) and C(6)–H(6)···O(3) intermolecular hydrogen bonds, which acted as an important role in stabilizing the crystal structure. Additionally, preliminary biological assay on compound 8ashowed good fungicidal activity in vivo,with the inhibition of 75% against Pseudoperonospora cubensisat 200 mg/L.

A series of novel furan-1,3,4-oxadiazole carboxamide derivatives (5a~5e) were designed, synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic methods including HR-MS, 1H- and 13C-NMR. The crystal structure of compound 5awas determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1−with a= 4.7261(5), b =10.4672(11), c =14.5886(13) Å, α =106.081(4)°, β = 91.043(3)°, γ =99.456(4)°, Z= 2, V =682.48(12) Å3, Mr=348.16, Dc=1.694 Mg/m3, S =1.008, µ=3.025 mm−1, F(000) = 348, the final R =0.0775 and wR =0.2080 for 2774 observed reflections (I2σ(I)). There are two kinds of hydrogen bonds (N(3)–H(3A)···N(2) and C(8)–H(8A)···O(3)) present in its crystal structure. The preliminary antifungal assay showed that compounds 5band 5cexhibited significant antifungal activities against several plant pathogenic fungi.

Four novel pyrazole-benzene carboxamide derivatives 2a~2dwere synthesized and characterized by NMR, HRMS spectral method and X-ray diffraction analysis, and were further conducted for screening the anti-fungal/anti-oomycete activity. Compound 2dcrystallizes as monoclinic space group P21/cwith a= 42.260(4), b= 5.3751(4), c= 8.0129(9) Å, β= 92.958(10)°, V= 1817.7(3) Å3, Z= 4, Mr= 385.41, Dc= 1.408 Mg/m3, S= 1.087, µ = 0.773 mm−1, F(000) = 808, the final R= 0.0763 and wR= 0.2136 for 2657 observed reflections (I >2σ(I)). The preliminary antifungal assay indicates that the title compounds show fair to excellent anti-fungal/anti-oomycete activity toward four plant fungi and two crop oomycetes. Among them, compound 2bexhibits the strongest in vitroanti-B. cinereaeffects (EC50 = 1.61 mg/L). In vivotest presents compound 2bdisplays considerable protective and curative effects to tomato fruits infected by B. cinerea. These results indicate that compound 2bwould be potential fungicides leads for further development.

Background: Triclopyr(Dow-503), whose commercial name was green grass, was an internal absorption and selective novel herbicide, developed by Dow agricultural sciences using the basic structure of 2,4-D. Triclopyr was suitable for preventing broadleaf weeds for removing shrubs, maintaining fireproof lines, raising pine trees and forest areas. Moreover, it could be used in paddy fields to prevent some broad-leaved weeds at the dose of 150-500g/hm. Methods: Two novel Triclopyr derivatives were synthesized based on the structure of commerical herbicide Triclopyr. Their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR melting point and elemental analysis. The preliminary bioassay were also evaluated. Results: The preliminary bioassay results showed that the title compounds had some herbicidal activities at the dosage of 150 g/hm2.The compound 1 and 2 show the 100% inhibition against three kinds of test weeds. Further test revealed that compound 2 showed the 100% inhibition against the Amaranthus. The safety test for crop revealed that the compound 2 was safe for paddy at the dosage of 150 g/hm2. Conclusion: The two compounds can be used as the leading compounds with certain optimized value.

AbstractThere are two problems in the economic order quantity (EOQ). The first one is that as the average amount of purchase is considered as the argument of the total inventory cost (TC) 1function, the calculated result of the purchase batch cannot be an integer, thus leading to the calculated result of TC less than its actual result. The other problem is that during the establishment of EOQ model, the fact that the amount of every purchase is variable is neglected, making the warehouse cost(WC) of each batch different, therefore, considering the average amount of purchase as every single amount of purchase is short of evidence. From the above analyses, this paper considers the order batch as the argument to build a new TC function and to analyze and demonstrate the three parts of this function respectively(the raw materials cost, order cost, warehouse cost) so as to find out the optimal expression for them. As a result, a new expression of the TC function can be determined and the EOQ model can be revised. Finally, with instants, this paper computes the result of key factors respectively based on the new model and the original model, and then compares advantages and disadvantages of these two models.

A highly sensitive “turn-on” fluorescent probe, methyl (6R,9aS)-2-(4′-(2,2-dicyanovinyl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl)-11-(4-methoxyphenyl)-6,9a-dimethyl-4,5,5a,6,7,8,9,9a-octahydro-3H-phenanthro[1,2-d]imidazole-6-carboxylate (DBMB), was synthesized from renewable natural product dehydroabietic acid for detecting HSO3−. Based on the nucleophilic addition reaction, DBMBcan be utilized to detect HSO3−with a low detection limit (8.63 ± 0.17 nM), high selectivity, and rapid response time (80 s). The recognition mechanism was verified by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) titration, high resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS), and density functional theory (DFT) calculation. More importantly, the probe DBMBcould determine HSO3−with good recoveries in common sugar samples. Furthermore, the confocal fluorescent assays of HSO3−in zebrafishes and living cells indicated that the probe DBMBhas great potential for bioimaging in living systems.
