Natural resources support ecosystems by providing important services such as clean air, water, food, and biodiversity. It is greatly important to understand how to safeguard and conserve these resources for present and future generations. In this regard, this paper aims to investigate the role of natural resources, tourism, financial development, and institutional quality towards sustainable development in China. The study used time-series data from 2000-2021 and employed the Bayesian linear regression model because it is suitable for small datasets. The robustness of findings was checked using quantile regression approach. The results reveal that financial development and institution quality have a positive effect on sustainable development. An increase in tourism expenditures stimulates the economy, creates jobs, encourages cultural exchange, and supports sustainability initiatives. However, reliance on natural resource can result in negative economic, social, and environmental outcomes, highlighting the need for resource diversification and management for reinforcing sustainable development.

This study aims to delve into the connection between green HRM, corporate entrepreneurial orientation, and green innovation and their effects on environmental performance. This research not only adds new information to the existing body of literature on the subject, but it also has the potential to widen its scope. The research formed several hypotheses based on previously published research and appropriate theoretical frameworks. Hypothesis testing was performed using comprehensive dataset, and its collection was accomplished through the survey method. The study utilised a technique known as structural equation modelling for the purpose of conducting the data analysis. Findings reveal that green HRM significantly improves green innovation capabilities. The moderation of corporate entrepreneurial orientation confirms the positive moderation in green HRM's effect on green innovation. Finally, the link between green HRM and environmental performance is discovered to be facilitated by green innovation.

The alarming energy crises has forced the scientific community to work for sustainable energy modules to meet energy requirements. As for this, ZnO/g-C3N4nanocomposites with proper heterojunction were fabricated by coupling a proper amount of ZnO with 2D graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) nanosheets and the obtained nanocomposites were applied for photocatalytic hydrogen generation from water under visible light illumination (λ> 420 nm). The morphologies and the hydrogen generation performance of fabricated photocatalysts were characterized in detail. Results showed that the optimized 5ZnO/g-C3N4nanocomposite produced 70 µmol hydrogen gas in 1 h compare to 8 µmol by pure g-C3N4under identical illumination conditions in the presence of methanol without the addition of cocatalyst. The much improved photoactivities of the nanocomposites were attributed to the enhanced charge separation through the heterojunction as confirmed from photoluminescence study, capacity of the fabricated samples for •OH radical generation and steady state surface photovoltage spectroscopic (SS-SPS) measurements. We believe that this work would help to fabricate low cost and effective visible light driven photocatalyst for energy production.

Herein, we report a unique approach to synthesize dimpled shape carboxylate functionalized polystyrene (C‐PS), which were subsequently coated with Fe3O4nanoparticles in situ by co‐precipitation method. The magnetization of C‐PS@Fe3O4nanocomposite has been verified through vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) measurements. The amount optimized carboxylate functionalized magnetic polystyrene (C‐PS@Fe3O4) exhibits 5.2 and 2.2‐times enhancement in visible‐light photocatalytic activities for 2,4‐dichlorophenol degradation compared with that of pristine PS and C‐PS. Based on various electro‐analytical techniques like surface photovoltage spectroscopy, temperature‐programmed desorption, Uv‐DRS, Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and VSM confirming magnetic nature of C‐PS@Fe3O4. Our results suggest that the improvement in visible light activities of C‐PS@Fe3O4are comprehensively assigned to the large and active surface area due to charge separation, catalytic functions, and magnetic nature induced by Fe3O4nanoparticles. Finally, this work will provide new strategy to synthesize visible light active nano photocatalysts with controllable shape, which for efficient environmental remediation. To effectively address environmental pollution, we synthesized Au‐loaded ZnO nanocomposites and applied for the photocatalytic degradation of 2‐chlorophenol (2‐CP) under visible light irradiation. The as‐prepared nanophotocatalysts delivered much improved photocatalytic degradation activities as compared to the bare ZnO nanoparticles and 32% of the pollutant was degraded with 2AuZnO in 1 hr. These improved photoactivities are attributed to the extended visible light absorption due to the surface plasmon resonance property of the loaded Au nanoparticles. Moreover, Au nanoparticles played important role in charge separation by inducting excited electrons to the conduction band of ZnO photocatalyst and surface catalysis as confirmed from photoluminescence spectra and amount of the generated hydroxyl radicals. The trapping experiments confirmed that positive holes were the major degrading species during the photocatalytic degradation of 2‐CP. This work provides a feasible way to improve the photocatalysis by introducing a proper amount of noble metals over the surface of semiconductor photocatalysts. Au‐loaded ZnO nanocomposites were applied for the photocatalytic degradation of 2‐chlorophenol under visible light. The nanophotocatalysts delivered improved photoactivities and 32% of pollutant was degraded in 1 hr. These improved photoactivities are attributed to the extended visible absorption due to Au nanoparticles. Au played an important role in charge separation. The trapping experiments confirmed that holes were the major degrading species.

This article expands current knowledge by assessing how transformational leadership influences IT business strategy alignment. Unexplored in earlier studies, the article discloses the role that environmental turbulence plays in this association. Developed through an extensive literature survey, the conceptual model is empirically tested, with survey data collected from managerial employees. The results show that, first, the transformation leadership style can lead to a favorable IT business strategy alignment. Second, the IT business strategy alignment has a significant positive effect on EIS adaptation. Third, environment turbulence positively moderates the relations among IT business strategy alignment and EIS adaptation. This study not only extends the current knowledge, but also provides useful managerial implications for the banking sector organizations of Pakistan.

The study investigates the short-run and long-run relationship between oil price fluctuation and real sector growth in Pakistan. Four major sectors of the economy (Manufacturing, electricity, transport and communication, and livestock) were analyzed to find any relation. Similar studies can be found in the existing literate, however, the distinguish feature of present study is that it investigates each individual sector’s linkage to oil price changes. Annual time series data of selected sectors ranging from 1976 to 2017 is selected for the study. Classical normal linear regression models under auto regressive distributed lag (ARDL) were employed to study the relationship between economic sectors and oil price fluctuation. Empirical results indicate that changes in oil price adversely affect manufacturing, livestock and electricity sectors in short-run and long-run, while significant positive impact was found on transportation and communication. Consequently, the sectors prone to oil price changes require special attention of policy makers. An expansionary monetary policy can be a short-run solution to reduce the impact of increasing oil price, whereas the government can introduce a policy framework to counter this effect in long-run.

The objective of this article is to design a game theory-based model to outline the role of the government, firm and civil society for environmental sustainability. The study used the dynamic game theory of complete information. Based upon the equilibrium analysis, the study highlights that when the punishment for non-compliance with environmental responsibility is smaller, the role of civil society would be higher for environmental sustainability. On the other hand, when the environmental responsibility cost is higher, then the role of a government is also higher for the implementation of environmental responsibility and to ensure the punishment. However, the authors found from model analysis that if the cost is low, the probability of firm to fulfill environmental responsibility is higher. In real life, the high cost of environmental responsibility is the main reason that the firm does not fulfill environmental responsibility. Under the high cost, the firm often has the phenomenon of bribery to the government and other means to avoid environmental responsibility. This article is a valuable policy guide for policy makers to cope with global environmental challenges.

This study comprehends a framework for measuring strength of service brands in service industry of Pakistan using three fundamental pillars in building service brand equity i.e. service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The results validated through the structural equation modeling (SEM) indicates the significance of customer loyalty that is contingent to satisfied customers. Moreover, in the context of service sector organizations, customer satisfaction is highly dependent on service quality. The mediation testing further indicates that customer satisfaction mediates and strengthens the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty, while, the latter fully mediates the relationship between customer satisfaction and service brand equity. Based upon the findings, this study develops a pyramid of building service brand equity. Finally, theoretical and managerial implications have been discussed.

Marketing a product to global consumers is a challenge due to intense competition and consumer biases toward specific country in global market. This paper has been used to address the specific challenge of country made in label in context of ‘Made in China' because China is largest manufacturer and exporter in the world. A conceptual framework has been drawn using extant literature to determine the perceived positioning of ‘Made in China' label. For conceptualization of this study means-end theory has been used which determine product characteristics at superior level. The proposed conceptual framework provides strong managerial insights and indicates that positioning of ‘Made in China' label is significantly influenced at cognitive, normative and affective level. Authors believe this framework as a valuable guideline for brands those are thinking to approach global consumers. This study is also comprised of the mechanism that can be used by firms to handle the perceived positioning of ‘Made in China'.
