OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to determine the evolution of sacubitril-valsartan research and analyze the publications quantitatively and qualitatively. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We used the bibliometric method and a combination of CiteSpace_6.1.6 and VOSviewer_1.6.18 to identify top authors, countries, institutions, co-cited articles, co-cited journals, keywords, and trends. This study prioritized key aspects in the existing global research on Entresto (Sacubitril/Valsartan) to assess our depth of knowledge in this field and identify potential insights. The objective was to generate a reference for the utilization of the "angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor" (ARNI). RESULTS: From 2008 to 2022, citations of sacubitril-valsartan showed an upward trend. VOSviewer keyword analysis of 3,408 publications identified 624 keywords and divided them into seven different clusters. The clustered network was constructed based on 1,191 references cited by 3,408 publications that met the terms, where the clustered network of sacubitril-valsartan was presented. These publications can be regarded as fundamental to Entresto's research. Analysis of co-cited reference clusters showed that other than Entresto's novel application in other diseases, the new combination with other medication or mechanical assistance therapies against heart failure was Entresto's latest focus. Analysis of citation bursts showed that the rank of the top 25 keywords, according to the chronological sequence, marked Entresto's research entering a new era of exploring the extended application in other diseases and novel combinations with other diverse therapies. CONCLUSIONS: We found that emerging new mechanisms in sacubitril-valsartan therapy intended for more targets in the pathogenesis of specific diseases will be the focus of further studies. The high degradation rate limits the clinical applications of calcium silicate bioceramics. In this paper, Ca2MgSi2O7 and Ca2ZnSi2O7 were successfully prepared using sol-gel method by incorporating magnesium and zinc into Ca–Si-based system. The results showed that the obtained ceramics presented the macroporous structure and the incorporation of zinc obviously reduced the samples specific surface area. Compared with CaSiO3 (24.8%), the weight loss of Ca2ZnSi2O7 was the lowest (8.4%) and Ca2MgSi2O7 was the middle (12.1%) after 28 days soaking in Tris-HCl buffers. Meanwhile, the formation of apatite was also confirmed after soaking in SBF. Through above investigations, the incorporation of magnesium and zinc should be one of the effective ways to adjust the degradation and apatite formation of Ca–Si-based bioceramics, which would meet the various clinical demands. OBJECTIVE: Long non-coding RNA LINC00173 (LINC00173) has been shown to facilitate the progression of a number of malignancies. In this study, we aimed to investigate the function of LINC00173 on prostate cancer (PCa) and discover the potential regulatory mechanism. PATIENTS AND METHODS: RT-PCR was used to determine the levels of LINC00173, miR-338- 3p and Rab25 in PCa patients and cell lines. The clinical significance of LINC00173 was statistically analyzed in 124 PCa patients. CCK8, colony formation, transwell, scratch wound, Ethynyldeoxyuridine (EdU) assays and flow cytometry assays were used to detect the proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and migration of PCa cells. The mechanism of LINC00173 action was explored through bioinformatics, RNA pulldown assays and Luciferase reporter assays. RESULTS: We observed that the expression of LINC00173 and Rab25 was distinctly upregulated in both PCa specimens and cell lines, while miR338-3p expression was significantly down-regulated. High LINC00173 expression was associated with Gleason score, preoperative PSA level and reduced patient survivals. Functional assays revealed that knockdown of LINC00173 suppressed the proliferation, migration and invasion of PCa cells, and promoted apoptosis. Mechanistically, LINC00173 acted as a competitive endogenous RNA in PCa and increased Rab25 expressions via sponging miR-338-3p. Moreover, LINC00173 promoted PCa progression by interacting with miR-338-3p and Rab25. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings, for the first time, identified a novel PCa-related lncRNA, LINC00173 which might serve as an oncogene in PCa. The discovery of the LINC00173/miR-338- 3p/Rab25 pathways provided new thinking for the treatments of PCa. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
