In the paper, a universal preudo-differential second-order filter operating in voltage mode, where both intup and output are differential, is presented. The circuit is formed by one differential difference current conveyor (DDCC), two differential voltage current conveyors (DVCCs), and five passive elements. The filter is characterized by high input impedance, minimum number of passive elements that are all grounded, and high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR). The proposed filter structure is able to realize all five standard frequency filter responses. Non-ideal analysis has been performed by considering the real parasitic parameters of the active elements. The optimization of passive element values has been done in terms of minimal shift of the pole-frequency and to obtain the maximum stop-band attenuation of the high-pass filter response. This paper presents new floating inductance simulator based on three electronically controllable current conveyors (ECCIIs) and differential voltage buffer (DVB). The inductance simulator offers simple electronic control of inductance value as well as simple control of losses by change of parameters of active elements. Based on this floating inductance simulator, example of reconnection-less reconfigurable pseudo-differential first-order filter, allowing change of transfer function between high-pass and inverting all-pass response, is discussed and studied. Moreover, the proposed structure can be easily extended to a pseudo-differential second-order band-bass filter. The suppression efficiency of the correlated noise and drift of self-oscillating front-end circuit in a pseudo-differential eddy-current displacement sensor (ECDS) is investigated using COMSOL and MATLAB. The transfer characteristic of the sensor coil, excited at 200 MHz, is obtained through a FE model in COMSOL. The characteristic is linearized to a second-order fit around a standoff distance to the target ( x so ) of 55 μm. The nonlinearity of the interface is modelled in MATLAB. It is found that, in order to tolerate 1% drift in the oscillator amplitude, a maximum 2nd harmonic distortion (HD2) of the interface has to be less than −72 dB when the sensor HD2 is −51.5 dB for 5 μm displacement range around x so = 55 μm. In this paper, a new circuit solution of analogue pseudo-differential second-order all-pass filter operating in the voltage mode is presented. Pseudo-differential, since both input and output terminals are differential, however, the circuit topology features single-ended structure. As active elements the differential difference current conveyors and second-generation current conveyors are advantageously used. The proposed filter features quality factor control without disturbing the polefrequency using single passive element. The designed circuit is less complex compared to fully-differential solutions by maintaining sufficient common-mode rejection ratio. The behaviour of the filter is described by means of symbolic analysis and also by simulations using the UCC-N1B integrated circuit. This article addresses the question which structures occur as fixed structures of stable structures with a generic automorphism. In particular we give a Galois theoretic characterization. When restricted to proving Σiq formulas, the quantified propositional proof system Gi* is closely related to the Σib theorems of Buss's theory S2i. Namely, Gi* has polynomial-size proofs of the translations of theorems of S2i and S2i proves that Gi* is sound. However, little is known about Gi* when proving more complex formulas. In this paper, we prove a witnessing theorem for Gi* similar in style to the KPT witnessing theorem for T2i. This witnessing theorem is then used to show that S2i proves Gi* is sound with respect to Σi+1q formulas. Note that unless the polynomial-time hierarchy collapses S2i is the weakest theory in the S2 hierarchy for which this is true. The witnessing theorem is also used to show that Gi* is p-equivalent to a quantified version of extended-Frege for prenex formulas. This is followed by a proof that Gi p-simulates Gi+1* with respect to all quantified propositional formulas. We finish by proving that S2 can be axiomatized by S2¹ plus axioms stating that the cut-free version of G0* is sound. In this paper, given a pseudo-addition ⊕ and its corresponding ⊕-fitting pseudo-multiplication , we consider and solve the pseudo-remaining Cauchy equations. They are the remaining Cauchy equations, considered by Aczél, where the ordinary sum and multiplication are replaced by the pseudo-operations.
