The low-energy quasiparticle states in the mixed state of most superconductors remain Bloch waves due to the presence of supercurrent around vortex cores. In contrast, the Weyl superconductor (WSC) may display Dirac-Landau levels in the presence of a vortex lattice. Here, we investigate the Landau level (LL) structure and optical conductivity in the mixed state of a generic WSC using a heterostructure model, where the tilt of the Bogoliubov-Weyl (BW) cones can be tuned, yielding either type-I (undertilted) or type-II (overtilted) cones. We find that, in a magnetic field, the tilted type-I BW cone in the mixed state may exhibit squeezed LLs with reduced spacings. On the other hand, the spectrum of type-II cones shows a dependence on the angle between the magnetic field and the tilt direction; LL quantization is only possible if the angle is below a critical value. For zero tilt, the optical conductivity in the mixed state of the WSC shows peaks only at photon frequencies $\omega_n \propto \sqrt{n}+\sqrt{n+1}$, with a linear background. However, the tilt of BW cones results in the emergence of optical transitions beyond the usual dipolar ones. For type-II BW cones, unique intraband transition conductivity peaks emerge at low frequency, which can serve as an indicator to distinguish between type-I and type-II BW cones in WSCs., Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures

The increasing demand for computational photography and imaging on mobile platforms has led to the widespread development and integration of advanced image sensors with novel algorithms in camera systems. However, the scarcity of high-quality data for research and the rare opportunity for in-depth exchange of views from industry and academia constrain the development of mobile intelligent photography and imaging (MIPI). Building on the achievements of the previous MIPI Workshops held at ECCV 2022 and CVPR 2023, we introduce our third MIPI challenge including three tracks focusing on novel image sensors and imaging algorithms. In this paper, we summarize and review the Nighttime Flare Removal track on MIPI 2024. In total, 170 participants were successfully registered, and 14 teams submitted results in the final testing phase. The developed solutions in this challenge achieved state-of-the-art performance on Nighttime Flare Removal. Klein tunneling is an old topic in relativistic quantum physics, and has been observed recently in graphene where massless particles reside. Here, we propose a new heterostructure platform for Klein tunneling to occur, which consists of a Weyl-semimetal-based normal state/superconductor (NS) junction. By developing a Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk-like theory, we find that Klein tunneling occurs at normal incidence, which can lead to differential conductance doubling. If the (single) Weyl semimeltals are replaced by double Weyl semimetals, anti-Klein tunneling will take place of Klein tunneling. Physical properties such as the conductivity are usually classified according to the symmetry of the underlying system using Neumann's principle, which gives an upper bound for the number of independent components of the corresponding property tensor. However, for a given Hamiltonian, this global approach usually can not give a definite answer on whether a physical effect such as spin Hall effect (SHE) exists or not. It is found that the parity and types of spin-orbit interactions (SOIs) are good indicators that can further reduce the number of independent components of the spin Hall conductivity for a specific system. In terms of the parity as well as various Rashba-like and Dresselhaus-like SOIs, we propose a local approach to classify SHE in two-dimensional (2D) two-band models, where sufficient conditions for identifying the existence or absence of SHE in all 2D magnetic point groups are presented.

A quadratic band crossing (QBC) is a crossing of two bands with quadratic dispersion, which has been intensively investigated due to its appearance in Bernal-stacked bilayer graphene. Here, we study an extension of QBCs, the triply degenerate quadratic band crossing (TQBC), which is a three-band crossing node containing two quadratic dispersing bands and a flat band. We focus on two types of TQBCs. The first type contains a symmetry-protected QBC and a free-electron band, the prototype of which is the AA-stacked bilayer squareoctagon lattice. In a magnetic field, such a TQBC exhibits an anomalous Landau level structure, leading to a distinctive quantum Hall effect which displays an infinite ladder of Hall plateaus when the chemical potential approaches zero. The other type of TQBC can be viewed as a pseudospin-1 extension of the bilayer-graphene QBC. Under perturbations, this type of TQBCs may split into linear pseudospin-1 Dirac-Weyl fermions. When tunneling through a potential barrier, the transmission probability of the first type decays exponentially with the barrier width for any incident angle, similar to the free-electron case, while the second type hosts an all-angle perfect reflection when the energy of the incident particles is equal to half the barrier height., Comment: 9 pages, 7 figures

In time-reversal invariant systems, all charge Hall effects predicted so far are extrinsic effects due to the dependence on the relaxation time. We explore intrinsic Hall signatures by studying quantum noise spectrum of the Hall current in time-reversal invariant systems, and discover intrinsic thermal Hall noises in both linear and nonlinear regimes. As the band geometric characteristics, quantum geometric tensor and Berry curvature play critical roles in various Hall effects, so are their quantum fluctuations. It is found that the thermal Hall noise in linear order of the electric field is purely intrinsic, and the second-order thermal Hall noise has both intrinsic and extrinsic contributions. In particular, the intrinsic part of the second-order thermal Hall noise is a manifestation of the quantum fluctuation of quantum geometric tensor, which widely exists as long as Berry curvature is nonzero. These intrinsic thermal Hall noises provide direct measurable means to band geometric information, including Berry curvature related quantities and quantum fluctuation of quantum geometric tensor.

The linear intrinsic anomalous Hall effect (IAHE) and second-order IAHE have been intensively investigated in time-reversal broken systems. However, as one of the important members of the nonlinear Hall family, the investigation of third-order IAHE remains absent due to the lack of an appropriate theoretical approach, although the third-order extrinsic AHE has been studied within the framework of first- and second-order semiclassical theory. Herein, we generalize the semiclassical theory for Bloch electrons under the uniform electric field up to the third-order using wavepacket method and based on which we predict that the third-order IAHE can also occur in time-reversal broken systems. Same as the second-order IAHE, we find the band geometric quantity, the second-order field-dependent Berry curvature arising from the second-order field-induced positional shift, plays a pivotal role to observe this effect. Moreover, with symmetry analysis, we find that the third-order IAHE, as the leading contribution, is supported by 15 time-reversal broken 3D magnetic point groups (MPGs), corresponding to a wide class of antiferromagnetic (AFM) materials. Guided by the symmetry arguments, a two-band model is chosen to demonstrate the generalized theory. Furthermore, the generalized third-order semiclassical theory depends only on the properties of Bloch bands, implying that it can also be employed to explore the IAHE in realistic AFM materials, by combining with first-principles calculations., Comment: 1 figure

The third-order nonlinear Hall effect induced by Berry-connection polarizability tensor has been observed in Weyl semimetals T$_d$-MoTe$_2$ as well as T$_d$-TaIrTe$_4$. The experiments were performed on bulk samples, and the results were interpreted with the semiclassical Boltzmann approach. Beyond the bulk limit, we develop a quantum nonlinear transport theory to investigate the third-order Hall response of a four-terminal setup with time-reversal symmetry in quantum regime. The quantum nonlinear theory is verified on a model system of monolayer MoTe$_2$, and numerical results on the angle-resolved Hall currents are qualitatively consistent with the experiment. More importantly, quantum signatures of the third-order Hall effect are revealed, which are independent of the system symmetry. The first quantum signature is quantum enhancement of the third-order Hall current, which is characterized by sharp current peaks whose magnitudes are three orders larger than the first-order Hall current. Such quantum enhancement originates from quantum interference in coherent transport, and it can be easily destroyed by dephasing effect. The second quantum signature is disorder-induced enhancement of the third-order Hall current for weak disorders. Our findings reveal quantum characteristics of the third-order Hall effect, and we propose feasible ways to enhance it in nanoscale systems. The quantum third-order theory developed in this work provides a general formalism for describing nonlinear coherent transport properties in multi-terminal devices, regardless of the system symmetry.

We present a semiclassical explanation for the morphology of the surface Fermi arcs of Weyl semimetals. Viewing the surface states as a two-dimensional Fermi gas subject to band bending and Berry curvatures, we show that it is the non-parallelism between the velocity and the momentum that gives rise to the spiral structure of Fermi arcs. We map out the Fermi arcs from the velocity field for a single Weyl point and a lattice with two Weyl points. We also investigate the surface magnetoplasma of Dirac semimetals in a magnetic field, and find that the drift motion, the chiral magnetic effect and the Imbert-Fedorov shift are all involved in the formation of surface Fermi arcs. Our work not only provides an insightful perspective on the surface Fermi arcs and a practical way to find the surface dispersion, but also paves the way for the study of other physical properties of the surface states of topological semimetals, such as transport properties and orbital magnetization, using semiclassical methods., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures + Supplemental Materials

Drive-thru is a popular sales channel in the fast food industry where consumers can make food purchases without leaving their cars. Drive-thru recommendation systems allow restaurants to display food recommendations on the digital menu board as guests are making their orders. Popular recommendation models in eCommerce scenarios rely on user attributes (such as user profiles or purchase history) to generate recommendations, while such information is hard to obtain in the drive-thru use case. Thus, in this paper, we propose a new recommendation model Transformer Cross Transformer (TxT), which exploits the guest order behavior and contextual features (such as location, time, and weather) using Transformer encoders for drive-thru recommendations. Empirical results show that our TxT model achieves superior results in Burger King's drive-thru production environment compared with existing recommendation solutions. In addition, we implement a unified system to run end-to-end big data analytics and deep learning workloads on the same cluster. We find that in practice, maintaining a single big data cluster for the entire pipeline is more efficient and cost-saving. Our recommendation system is not only beneficial for drive-thru scenarios, and it can also be generalized to other customer interaction channels., Comment: 9 pages

Topological nodal-line semimetals exhibit double or fourfold degenerate nodal lines, which are protected by symmetries. Here, we investigate the possibility of the existence of triply degenerate nodal lines in metals. We present two types of triply degenerate nodal lines, one topologically trivial and the other nontrivial. The first type is stacked by two-dimensional pseudospin-1 fermions, which can be viewed as an critical case of a tunable band-crossing line structure that contains a symmetry-protected quadratic band-crossing line and a non-degenerate band, and can split into four Weyl nodal lines under perturbations. We find that surface states of the nodal line structure are dependent on the geometry of the lattice and the surface termination. Such a metal has a nesting of Fermi surface in a range of filling, resulting in a density-wave state when interaction is included. The second type is a vortex ring of pseudospin-1 fermions. In this system, the pseudospins form Skyrmion textures, and the surface states are fully extended topological Fermi arcs so that the model exhibits 3D quantum anomalous Hall effect with a maximal Hall conductivity. The vortex ring can evolve into a pair of vortex lines that are not closed in the first Brillouin zone. A vortex line cannot singly exist in the lattice model if it is the only nodal feature of the system., Comment: 11 pages, 11 figures

Similar to Weyl semimetals, in magnetic materials, magnon bands can host Weyl points, around which the bosonic excitations are called Weyl magnons. Here, we investigate the Klein tunneling of Weyl magnons, during the process of which Weyl magnons tunnel through a high potential barrier. Specifically, we study the magnetization current carried by Weyl magnons in a quasi-one-dimensional magnetic wire, in the middle of which a gate magnetic field is applied to generate a potential barrier. The transmission probability is calculated and the Landauer-B\"uttiker formalism is used to find the magnetization current. Various types of Weyl magnons are considered, including isotropic, tilted, and double Weyl magnons. Unlike in Weyl semimetals where fermionic statistics is in charge and the current oscillates with the gate field as a result of Fabry-P\'erot resonances, here Bose distribution smears out the oscillations. We find that the tilting of the Weyl cone causes the decrease of the magnetization current from Klein tunneling, while for double Weyl magnons, Klein tunneling is absent in the direction of quadratic dispersion, but is enhanced in the direction of linear dispersion. Our results show that the behaviour of the current-voltage characteristics of magnons is rather different from that of electrons due to different statistics, although the single-particle properties, such as the transmission probabilities, are the same for both Weyl bosons and Weyl fermions., Comment: 11 pages, 15 figures

The interplay between electronic correlations and topological protection may offer a rich avenue for discovering emergent quantum phenomena in condensed matter. However, electronic correlations have so far been little investigated in Weyl semimetals (WSMs) by experiments. Here, we report a combined optical spectroscopy and theoretical calculation study on the strength of electronic correlations in a kagome magnet Co3Sn2S2 and the influence of electronic correlations on its WSM state expected within a single-particle picture. The electronic kinetic energy estimated from our optical data is about half of that obtained from single-particle ab initio calculations, which indicates intermediate-strength electronic correlations in this system. Furthermore, comparing the energy ratios between the interband-transition peaks at high energies in the experimental and single-particle-ab-initio-calculation derived optical conductivity spectra with the electronic bandwidth renormalization factors obtained by many-body calculations enables us to estimate the Coulomb-interaction strength (U ~ 4 eV) of electronic correlations in Co3Sn2S2. Our many-body calculations with U ~ 4 eV show that a WSM state, which is characterized by bulk Weyl cones and surface Fermi arcs, survives in this correlated electron system. Besides, a sharp experimental optical conductivity peak at low energy, which is absent in the single-particle-ab-initio-calculation-derived optical conductivity spectrum but is consistent with the optical conductivity peaks obtained by many-body calculations, indicates that an electronic band connecting the two Weyl cones is flattened by electronic correlations and emerges near the Fermi energy in Co3Sn2S2. Our work paves the way for exploring flat-band-generated quantum phenomena in WSMs.

We study the magnetic proximity effect on a two-dimensional topological insulator in a CrI$_3$/SnI$_3$/CrI$_3$ trilayer structure. From first-principles calculations, the BiI$_3$-type SnI$_3$ monolayer without spin-orbit coupling has Dirac cones at the corners of the hexagonal Brillouin zone. With spin-orbit coupling turned on, it becomes a topological insulator, as revealed by a non-vanishing $Z_2$ invariant and an effective model from symmetry considerations. Without spin-orbit coupling, the Dirac points are protected if the CrI$_3$ layers are stacked ferromagnetically, and are gapped if the CrI$_3$ layers are stacked antiferromagnetically, which can be explained by the irreducible representations of the magnetic space groups $C_{3i}^1$ and $C_{3i}^1(C_3^1)$, corresponding to ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic stacking, respectively. By analyzing the effective model including the perturbations, we find that the competition between the magnetic proximity effect and spin-orbit coupling leads to a topological phase transition between a trivial insulator and a topological insulator., Comment: 11 pages, 5 figures, 2 tables. The availability of the large-scale labeled 3D poses in the Human3.6M dataset plays an important role in advancing the algorithms for 3D human pose estimation from a still image. We observe that recent innovation in this area mainly focuses on new techniques that explicitly address the generalization issue when using this dataset, because this database is constructed in a highly controlled environment with limited human subjects and background variations. Despite such efforts, we can show that the results of the current methods are still error-prone especially when tested against the images taken in-the-wild. In this paper, we aim to tackle this problem from a different perspective. We propose a principled approach to generate high quality 3D pose ground truth given any in-the-wild image with a person inside. We achieve this by first devising a novel stereo inspired neural network to directly map any 2D pose to high quality 3D counterpart. We then perform a carefully designed geometric searching scheme to further refine the joints. Based on this scheme, we build a large-scale dataset with 400,000 in-the-wild images and their corresponding 3D pose ground truth. This enables the training of a high quality neural network model, without specialized training scheme and auxiliary loss function, which performs favorably against the state-of-the-art 3D pose estimation methods. We also evaluate the generalization ability of our model both quantitatively and qualitatively. Results show that our approach convincingly outperforms the previous methods. We make our dataset and code publicly available.

Hourglass-like band structures protected by nonsymmorphic space group symmetries can appear along high-symmetry lines or in high-symmetry surfaces in the Brillouin zone. In this work, from symmetry analysis, we demonstrate that $n$-hourglass-like band structures, a generalization of hourglass-like band structures, which host a number of Weyl points, are enforced along screw-invariant lines in non-magnetic materials with a single $N$-fold screw axis when spin-orbit coupling is finite, where $n$, a non-unity factor of $N$, denotes the degree of the screw-invariant line. The "standard" $n$-hourglass has $n-1$ crossings, which is minimal, and its variants can have more crossings. Purely by symmetry considerations, we find there are minimally two particle and two hole Fermi pockets enclosing Weyl points with opposite monopole charges at proper fillings, which can result in distinct physical effects including the possible formation of topological density waves and the quantum nonlinear Hall effect. We construct a minimal model which respects all the symmetries, and from which we see how the $n$-hourglasses appear when spin-orbit coupling is turned on. The same results are derived from compatibility relations. As exemplary, BiPd, ZnTe under high pressure, and the high-temperature phase of Tl$_3$PbBr$_5$, are shown from first-principles calculations to exhibit $n$-hourglass-like band structures, with $N=2,3,4$, respectively, which confirms our symmetry analysis and minimal model., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures + supplemental materials

The Imbert-Fedorov (IF) shift is the transverse shift of a beam at a surface or an interface. It is a manifestation of the three-component Berry curvature in three dimensions, and has been studied in optical systems and Weyl semimetals. Here we investigate the IF shift in two types of topological systems, topological semimetals with pseudospin-$N/2$ for an arbitrary integer $N$, and nodal-line semimetals (NLSMs). For the former, we find the IF shift depends on the components of the pseudospin, with the sign depending on the chirality. We term this phenomenon the pseudospin Hall effect of topological fermions. The shift can also be interpreted as a consequence of the conservation of the total angular momentum. For the latter, if the NLSM has both time-reversal and inversion symmetries, the IF shift is zero; otherwise it could be finite. We take the NLSM with a vortex ring, which breaks both symmetries, as an example, and show that the IF shift can be used to detect topological Lifshitz transitions. Quasiparticle excitations beyond Dirac-Weyl-Majorana classification can appear in lattice systems due to the less symmetry constraint compared with Poincar\'e symmetry in high energy physics. In particular, fermions with an integer spin can appear in a variety of lattices. Here, we show that two-dimensional spin-1 fermion may coexist with Dirac fermions in the triangular kagome lattice (TKL). We derive a four-band effective model that hosts both types of fermions. The effective model can be used to study the interplay between spin-1 and spin-1/2 fermions. As an example, using this model we show that spin-nonconserving Klein tunneling can occur in the TKL, which has the transmission coefficient $T=1$ for normal incidence. We report infrared studies of AFe$_{2}$As$_{2}$ (A = Ba, Sr), two representative parent compounds of iron-arsenide superconductors, at magnetic fields (B) up to 17.5 T. Optical transitions between Landau levels (LLs) were observed in the antiferromagnetic states of these two parent compounds. Our observation of a $\sqrt{B}$ dependence of the LL transition energies, the zero-energy intercepts at B = 0 T under the linear extrapolations of the transition energies and the energy ratio ($\sim$ 2.4) between the observed LL transitions, combined with the linear band dispersions in two-dimensional (2D) momentum space obtained by theoretical calculations, demonstrates the existence of massless Dirac fermions in antiferromagnetic BaFe$_{2}$As$_{2}$. More importantly, the observed dominance of the zeroth-LL-related absorption features and the calculated bands with extremely weak dispersions along the momentum direction $k_{z}$ indicate that massless Dirac fermions in BaFe$_{2}$As$_{2}$ are 2D. Furthermore, we find that the total substitution of the barium atoms in BaFe$_{2}$As$_{2}$ by strontium atoms not only maintains 2D massless Dirac fermions in this system, but also enhances their Fermi velocity, which supports that the Dirac points in iron-arsenide parent compounds are topologically protected., Comment: Magneto-infrared study, Landau level spectroscopy, DFT+DMFT calculations

The study of spin-orbit coupling of photons has attracted much attention in recent years, and leads to many potential applications in optics. In the recently discovered metamaterial -- photonic crystals with Weyl points, the pseudospin-orbit coupling of photons bears a resemblance to the spin-orbit coupling. We study the pseudospin Hall effect of light in such metamaterials and find that during total reflection, the light beam experiences a transverse shift that is proportional to the pseudospin (or the monopole charge) of the Weyl point. As the spin Hall effect has inspired many works to explore the applications in optics, exploring the coupling between the orbital and pseudospin degrees of freedom of photons can also be fruitful in the field of optics, as well as in other fields where Weyl points can be realized., Comment: 5 pages

The Imbert-Fedorov (IF) shift in optics describes the transverse shift of light beams at the reflection interface. Recently, the IF shift of Weyl fermions at the interface between Weyl semimetals (WSMs) with single monopole charge has been studied. Here, we study the IF shift at the interface between two WSMs, each of which is carrying an arbitrary integer monopole charge. We find a general relation between the monopole charges of the two WSMs and the IF shift. In particular, the IF shift is proportional to the monopole charge if both WSMs have the same one. Our results can be used to infer the topology of the materials by experimentally measuring their IF shift. Furthermore, we consider the possibility that the Weyl fermions are scattered to other Weyl cones during the reflection, which results in qualitatively different behavior of the IF shift. It was recently shown that nonsymmorphic space group symmetries can protect novel surface states with hourglass-like dispersions. In this paper, we show that such dispersions can also appear in the bulk of three-dimensional (3D) systems which respect nonsymmorphic symmetries. Specifically, we construct 3D lattice models featuring hourglass-like dispersions in the bulk, which are protected by nonsymmorphic and time-reversal symmetries. We call such systems hourglass semimetals, as they have point or line nodes associated with hourglass-like dispersions. Hourglass nodal lines appear in glide-invariant planes, while hourglass Weyl points can occur on screw-invariant axes. The Weyl points and surface Fermi arcs in hourglass Weyl semimetals are stable against weak perturbations breaking those nonsymmorphic symmetries. We study the superconducting instability and the resulting superconducting states in a two-dimensional repulsive Fermi gas with Rashba spin-orbit coupling at low electron density (namely the Fermi energy $E_F$ is lower than the energy $E_R$ of the Dirac point induced by Rashba coupling). We find that superconductivity is enhanced as the dimensionless Fermi energy $\epsilon_F$ ($\epsilon_F\equiv E_F/E_R$) decreases, due to the following two reasons. First, the density of states at $\epsilon_F$ increases as $1/\sqrt{\epsilon_F}$. Second, the particle-hole bubble becomes more anisotropic, resulting in an increasing effective attraction. The superconducting state is always in the total angular momentum $j_z=+2$ (or $j_z=-2$) channel with Chern number $C=4$ (or $C=-4$), breaking time reversal symmetry spontaneously. Although a putative Leggett mode is expected due to the two-gap nature of the superconductivity, we find that it is always damped. More importantly, once a sufficiently large Zeeman coupling is applied to the superconducting state, the Chern number can be tuned to be $\pm1$ and Majorana zero modes exist in the vortex cores., Comment: 5 pages + supplemental material

Weyl points in three-dimensional photonic crystals behave as monopoles of Berry flux in momentum space. Here, based on general symmetry analysis, we show that a minimal number of four symmetry-related (consequently equifrequency) Weyl points can be realized in time-reversal invariant photonic crystals. We further propose an experimentally-feasible way to modify double-gyroid photonic crystals to realize four equifrequency Weyl points, which is explicitly confirmed by our first-principle photonic band-structure calculations. Remarkably, photonic crystals with equifrequency Weyl points are qualitatively advantageous in applications including angular selectivity, frequency selectivity, invisibility cloaking, and three dimensional imaging., Comment: 5 pages + Supplemental Material, 4 figures

We investigate the superconducting instability of a two-dimensional repulsive fermion gas with Rashba spin-orbit coupling $\al_R$. Using renormalization group approach, we find the superconducting transition temperature as a function of the dimensionless ratio $\Theta={1}{2}m\al_R^2/E_F$ where $E_F=0$ when the smaller Fermi surface shrinks to a (Dirac) point. The general trend is that superconductivity is enhanced as $\Theta$ increases, but in an intermediate regime $\Theta\sim0.1$, a dome-like behavior appears. At a very small value of $\Theta$, the angular momentum channel $j_z$ in which superconductivity occurs is quite high. With increasing $\Theta$, $j_z$ decreases with a step of 2 down to $j_z=6$, after which we find the sequence $j_z=6, 4, 6, 2$, the last value of which continues to $\Theta\rightarrow\infty$. In an extended range of $\Theta$, the superconducting gap predominantly resides on the large Fermi surface, while Josephson coupling induces a much smaller gap on the small Fermi surface. Below the superconducting transition temperature, we apply mean field theory to derive the self-consistent equations and find the condensation energies. The state with the lowest condensation energy is an unconventional superconducting state which breaks time reversal symmetry, and in which singlet and triplet pairings are mixed. In general, these states are topologically nontrivial, and the Chern number of the state with total angular momentum $j_z$ is $C=2j_z$., Comment: 19 pages, 7 figures

We report numerical results of quantum oscillations of the specific heat in the vortex state of a $d_{x^2-y^2}$-wave superconductor in the presence of loop current order, which gives rise to Fermi pockets coexisting with nodal $d_{x^2-y^2}$-wave superconductivity. Within a lattice tight-binding model, we find that in an intermediate temperature range, the oscillations seem to approximately follow Onsager relation with an effective charge comparable to the electric charge. However, the quasiparticle spectrum does not resemble Landau levels. In order to understand the origin of the oscillations, we also perform Franz-Tesanovic transformation in the presence of the loop order and find that in addition to scalar and Berry potentials, one component of the gauge invariant superfluid velocity couples to the low lying Dirac particles as a component of a vector potential. The magnetic field associated with this vector potential vanishes on average but is highly non-uniform in the magnetic unit cell. We also compare the results with the model without the loop order but with Zeeman-like coupling which also induces Fermi pockets in the superconducting state., Comment: 13 pages, 15 figures

We study a model of a two-dimensional repulsive Fermi gas with Rashba spin-orbit coupling $\alpha_R$, and investigate the superconducting instability using renormalization group approach. We find that in general superconductivity is enhanced as the dimensionless ratio 1/2m\alpha_R^2/E_F$ increases, resulting in unconventional superconducting states which break time reversal symmetry., Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures
