Intracellular processes triggered by neural activity include changes in ionic concentrations, protein release, and synaptic vesicle cycling. These processes play significant roles in neurological disorders. The beneficial effects of brain stimulation may also be mediated through intracellular changes. There is a lack of label-free techniques for monitoring activity-dependent intracellular changes. Electromagnetic (EM) waves at frequencies larger than 1x10^6 Hz (1 MHz) were previously used to probe intracellular contents of cells, as cell membrane becomes transparent at this frequency range. EM waves interact with membranes of intracellular organelles, proteins, and water in the MHz-GHz range. In this work, we developed a device for probing the interaction between intracellular contents of active neurons and EM waves. The device used an array of grounded coplanar waveguides (GCPWs) to deliver EM waves to a three-dimensional (3D) spheroid of rat cortical neurons. Neural activity was evoked using optogenetics, with synchronous detection of propagation of EM waves. Broadband measurements were conducted in the MHz-GHz range to track changes in transmission coefficients. Neuronal activity was found to reversibly alter EM wave transmission. Pharmacological suppression of neuronal activity abolished changes in transmission. Time constants of changes in transmission were in the range of seconds to tens of seconds, suggesting the presence of relatively slow, activity-dependent intracellular processes. This study provides the first evidence that EM transmission through neuronal tissue is activity-dependent in MHz-GHz range. Device developed in this work may find future applications in studies of the mechanisms of neurological disorders and the development of new therapies.

Speech synthesis technology has posed a serious threat to speaker verification systems. Currently, the most effective fake audio detection methods utilize pretrained models, and integrating features from various layers of pretrained model further enhances detection performance. However, most of the previously proposed fusion methods require fine-tuning the pretrained models, resulting in excessively long training times and hindering model iteration when facing new speech synthesis technology. To address this issue, this paper proposes a feature fusion method based on the Mixture of Experts, which extracts and integrates features relevant to fake audio detection from layer features, guided by a gating network based on the last layer feature, while freezing the pretrained model. In recent years, speech diffusion models have advanced rapidly. Alongside the widely used U-Net architecture, transformer-based models such as the Diffusion Transformer (DiT) have also gained attention. However, current DiT speech models treat Mel spectrograms as general images, which overlooks the specific acoustic properties of speech. To address these limitations, we propose a method called Directional Patch Interaction for Text-to-Speech (DPI-TTS), which builds on DiT and achieves fast training without compromising accuracy. Notably, DPI-TTS employs a low-to-high frequency, frame-by-frame progressive inference approach that aligns more closely with acoustic properties, enhancing the naturalness of the generated speech. Additionally, we introduce a fine-grained style temporal modeling method that further improves speaker style similarity. Oxygen transport membranes(OTMs)have provided great opportunities in the last decades but are suffering from the trade-off effect between stability and oxygen permeability. Here, we report a group of new planar dual-phase mixed ionic-electronic conducting (MIEC) OTMs consisting of CO$_2$$_{0.85}$Nd$_{0.1}$Cu$_{0.05}$O$_2$ (CNCO) and Nd$_x$Sr$_{1-x}$Fe$_{1-y}$Cu$_y$O$_3$(NSFCO; $x = 0.4, 0.6$; $y = 0.05, 0.1$) phases, showing excellent oxygen permeability while comparable CO$_2$-resistant stability. The substitution of Cu as a bifunctional additive decreases the sintering temperature and enhances bulk diffusion and oxygen permeability with the co-doping of Nd.The oxygen permeation fluxes reached 2.62 and 1.52 mL min$^{-1}$ cm$^{-2}$ at 1000$^\circ$C through the optimal 60wt%Ce0.85Nd0.1Cu0.05O2-40wt%Nd0.4Sr0.6Fe0.9Cu0.1O3 (CNCO-NSFCO41) composition with He and CO$_2$ sweeping, respectively, higher than all reported dense dual-phase OTMs. Such excellent CO$_2$-tolerant permeability meets the needs of potential industrial applications. Analysis with Zhu's oxygen permeation model shows lower bulk diffusion resistance of CNCO-NSFCO41 than that of reported 60wt%Ce0.85Pr0.1Cu0.05O2-40wt%Pr0.4Sr0.6Fe0.9Cu0.1O3(CPCO-PSFCO41)and more limitation by the interfacial exchange at high temperature. All the prepared OTMs also show good long-term stability over 100 hours in both atmospheres. Currently, Audio Language Models (ALMs) are rapidly advancing due to the developments in large language models and audio neural codecs. These ALMs have significantly lowered the barrier to creating deepfake audio, generating highly realistic and diverse types of deepfake audio, which pose severe threats to society. Consequently, effective audio deepfake detection technologies to detect ALM-based audio have become increasingly critical. This paper investigate the effectiveness of current countermeasure (CM) against ALM-based audio. Specifically, we collect 12 types of the latest ALM-based deepfake audio and utilizing the latest CMs to evaluate. Our findings reveal that the latest codec-trained CM can effectively detect ALM-based audio, achieving 0% equal error rate under most ALM test conditions, which exceeded our expectations. This indicates promising directions for future research in ALM-based deepfake audio detection.

In the current era of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC), a Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) method has emerged. It uses a plugin-based approach to learn new knowledge with lower parameter quantities and computational costs, and it can be plugged in and out based on the specific sub-tasks, offering high flexibility. However, the current application schemes primarily incorporate LoRA into the pre-introduced conditional parts of the speech models. This fixes the position of LoRA, limiting the flexibility and scalability of its application. Therefore, we propose the Exploring Efficient and Extensible LoRA Integration in Emotional Text-to-Speech (EELE) method. Starting from a general neutral speech model, we do not pre-introduce emotional information but instead use the LoRA plugin to design a flexible adaptive scheme that endows the model with emotional generation capabilities. Specifically, we initially train the model using only neutral speech data. After training is complete, we insert LoRA into different modules and fine-tune the model with emotional speech data to find the optimal insertion scheme. Through experiments, we compare and test the effects of inserting LoRA at different positions within the model and assess LoRA's ability to learn various emotions, effectively proving the validity of our method. Additionally, we explore the impact of the rank size of LoRA and the difference compared to directly fine-tuning the entire model.

In the field of deepfake detection, previous studies focus on using reconstruction or mask and prediction methods to train pre-trained models, which are then transferred to fake audio detection training where the encoder is used to extract features, such as wav2vec2.0 and Masked Auto Encoder. These methods have proven that using real audio for reconstruction pre-training can better help the model distinguish fake audio. However, the disadvantage lies in poor interpretability, meaning it is hard to intuitively present the differences between deepfake and real audio. This paper proposes a noval feature extraction method via color quantisation which constrains the reconstruction to use a limited number of colors for the spectral image-like input. The proposed method ensures reconstructed input differs from the original, which allows for intuitive observation of the focus areas in the spectral reconstruction. Intraoperative CT imaging serves as a crucial resource for surgical guidance; however, it may not always be readily accessible or practical to implement. In scenarios where CT imaging is not an option, reconstructing CT scans from X-rays can offer a viable alternative. In this paper, we introduce an innovative method for 3D CT reconstruction utilizing biplanar X-rays. Distinct from previous research that relies on conventional image generation techniques, our approach leverages a conditional diffusion process to tackle the task of reconstruction. More precisely, we employ a diffusion-based probabilistic model trained to produce 3D CT images based on orthogonal biplanar X-rays. To improve the structural integrity of the reconstructed images, we incorporate a novel projection loss function. Experimental results validate that our proposed method surpasses existing state-of-the-art benchmarks in both visual image quality and multiple evaluative metrics. Specifically, our technique achieves a higher Structural Similarity Index (SSIM) of 0.83, a relative increase of 10\%, and a lower Fr\'echet Inception Distance (FID) of 83.43, which represents a relative decrease of 25\%.

ASVspoof5, the fifth edition of the ASVspoof series, is one of the largest global audio security challenges. It aims to advance the development of countermeasure (CM) to discriminate bonafide and spoofed speech utterances. In this paper, we focus on addressing the problem of open-domain audio deepfake detection, which corresponds directly to the ASVspoof5 Track1 open condition. At first, we comprehensively investigate various CM on ASVspoof5, including data expansion, data augmentation, and self-supervised learning (SSL) features. Due to the high-frequency gaps characteristic of the ASVspoof5 dataset, we introduce Frequency Mask, a data augmentation method that masks specific frequency bands to improve CM robustness. Combining various scale of temporal information with multiple SSL features, our experiments achieved a minDCF of 0.0158 and an EER of 0.55% on the ASVspoof 5 Track 1 evaluation progress set.

We investigate the valence quark distributions of pions at a low initial scale ($Q^2_0$) through the application of Tsallis entropy, a non-extensive measure adept at encapsulating long-range correlations among internal constituents. Utilizing the maximum entropy approach, we derive the valence quark distributions at elevated resolution scales via a modified DGLAP equation, which integrates GLR-MQ-ZRS corrections for the $Q^2$ evolution. Our findings indicate that the resulting $Q^2$-dependent valence quark distributions yield an optimal fit to experimental data, with an inferred parameter value of $q$ ($q = 0.91$), diverging from unity. This deviation highlights the significant role that correlations among valence quarks play in shaping our understanding of pion internal structure. Additionally, our computations of the first three moments of pion quark distributions at $ Q^2 = 4 \, \mathrm{GeV}^2$ display consistency with alternative theoretical models, thereby reinforcing the importance of incorporating valence quark correlations within this analytical framework., Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures

In this study we demonstrate the application of the Maximum Entropy Method (MEM) to determine the valence quark distribution of exotic hadrons. Our investigation yields three key findings. Firstly, we observe a significant shift towards smaller Bjorken scale $x$ in the peak position of the valence quark distribution for hadrons with an increasing number of valence quarks, consistent with previous results by Kawamura and Kumano. Secondly, assuming that the $Z_c(3900)$ initially consists of four valence quarks, we employ MEM to determine its initial valence quark distribution, estimating a radius of $r_c=1.276$ fm at an extremely low resolution scale $Q^2$. Furthermore, we identify a notable discrepancy between our computed charge form factor $G_c(q)$ at leading order and the outcomes of hadron molecular state calculations. We propose that this form factor can be extracted from the QCD counting rule cross-section, which is grounded in Generalized Distribution Amplitudes (GDA) linked to the multi-quark states., Comment: 7 pages, 7 figures

Speaker adaptation, which involves cloning voices from unseen speakers in the Text-to-Speech task, has garnered significant interest due to its numerous applications in multi-media fields. Despite recent advancements, existing methods often struggle with inadequate speaker representation accuracy and overfitting, particularly in limited reference speeches scenarios. To address these challenges, we propose an Agile Speaker Representation Reinforcement Learning strategy to enhance speaker similarity in speaker adaptation tasks. ASRRL is the first work to apply reinforcement learning to improve the modeling accuracy of speaker embeddings in speaker adaptation, addressing the challenge of decoupling voice content and timbre. Our approach introduces two action strategies tailored to different reference speeches scenarios. In the single-sentence scenario, a knowledge-oriented optimal routine searching RL method is employed to expedite the exploration and retrieval of refinement information on the fringe of speaker representations. In the few-sentence scenario, we utilize a dynamic RL method to adaptively fuse reference speeches, enhancing the robustness and accuracy of speaker modeling. To achieve optimal results in the target domain, a multi-scale fusion scoring mechanism based reward model that evaluates speaker similarity, speech quality, and intelligibility across three dimensions is proposed, ensuring that improvements in speaker similarity do not compromise speech quality or intelligibility. The experimental results on the LibriTTS and VCTK datasets within mainstream TTS frameworks demonstrate the extensibility and generalization capabilities of the proposed ASRRL method. This paper presents the development of a speech synthesis system for the LIMMITS'24 Challenge, focusing primarily on Track 2. The objective of the challenge is to establish a multi-speaker, multi-lingual Indic Text-to-Speech system with voice cloning capabilities, covering seven Indian languages with both male and female speakers. The system was trained using challenge data and fine-tuned for few-shot voice cloning on target speakers. Evaluation included both mono-lingual and cross-lingual synthesis across all seven languages, with subjective tests assessing naturalness and speaker similarity. Our system uses the VITS2 architecture, augmented with a multi-lingual ID and a BERT model to enhance contextual language comprehension. In Track 1, where no additional data usage was permitted, our model achieved a Speaker Similarity score of 4.02. In Track 2, which allowed the use of extra data, it attained a Speaker Similarity score of 4.17.

Foley audio, critical for enhancing the immersive experience in multimedia content, faces significant challenges in the AI-generated content (AIGC) landscape. Despite advancements in AIGC technologies for text and image generation, the foley audio dubbing remains rudimentary due to difficulties in cross-modal scene matching and content correlation. Current text-to-audio technology, which relies on detailed and acoustically relevant textual descriptions, falls short in practical video dubbing applications. Existing datasets like AudioSet, AudioCaps, Clotho, Sound-of-Story, and WavCaps do not fully meet the requirements for real-world foley audio dubbing task. To address this, we introduce the Multi-modal Image and Narrative Text Dubbing Dataset (MINT), designed to enhance mainstream dubbing tasks such as literary story audiobooks dubbing, image/silent video dubbing. Besides, to address the limitations of existing TTA technology in understanding and planning complex prompts, a Foley Audio Content Planning, Generation, and Alignment (CPGA) framework is proposed, which includes a content planning module leveraging large language models for complex multi-modal prompts comprehension. Additionally, the training process is optimized using Proximal Policy Optimization based reinforcement learning, significantly improving the alignment and auditory realism of generated foley audio. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach significantly advances the field of foley audio dubbing, providing robust solutions for the challenges of multi-modal dubbing. Even when utilizing the relatively lightweight GPT-2 model, our framework outperforms open-source multimodal large models such as LLaVA, DeepSeek-VL, and Moondream2. With the proliferation of Large Language Model (LLM) based deepfake audio, there is an urgent need for effective detection methods. Previous deepfake audio generation methods typically involve a multi-step generation process, with the final step using a vocoder to predict the waveform from handcrafted features. However, LLM-based audio is directly generated from discrete neural codecs in an end-to-end generation process, skipping the final step of vocoder processing. This poses a significant challenge for current audio deepfake detection (ADD) models based on vocoder artifacts. To effectively detect LLM-based deepfake audio, we focus on the core of the generation process, the conversion from neural codec to waveform. We propose Codecfake dataset, which is generated by seven representative neural codec methods. Text-to-Audio (TTA) aims to generate audio that corresponds to the given text description, playing a crucial role in media production. The text descriptions in TTA datasets lack rich variations and diversity, resulting in a drop in TTA model performance when faced with complex text. To address this issue, we propose a method called Portable Plug-in Prompt Refiner, which utilizes rich knowledge about textual descriptions inherent in large language models to effectively enhance the robustness of TTA acoustic models without altering the acoustic training set. Furthermore, a Chain-of-Thought that mimics human verification is introduced to enhance the accuracy of audio descriptions, thereby improving the accuracy of generated content in practical applications. Although current fake audio detection approaches have achieved remarkable success on specific datasets, they often fail when evaluated with datasets from different distributions. Previous studies typically address distribution shift by focusing on using extra data or applying extra loss restrictions during training. However, these methods either require a substantial amount of data or complicate the training process. In this work, we propose a stable learning-based training scheme that involves a Sample Weight Learning (SWL) module, addressing distribution shift by decorrelating all selected features via learning weights from training samples. The proposed portable plug-in-like SWL is easy to apply to multiple base models and generalizes them without using extra data during training. The generalization of Fake Audio Detection (FAD) is critical due to the emergence of new spoofing techniques. Traditional FAD methods often focus solely on distinguishing between genuine and known spoofed audio. We propose a Genuine-Focused Learning (GFL) framework guided, aiming for highly generalized FAD, called GFL-FAD. This method incorporates a Counterfactual Reasoning Enhanced Representation (CRER) based on audio reconstruction using the Mask AutoEncoder (MAE) architecture to accurately model genuine audio features. To reduce the influence of spoofed audio during training, we introduce a genuine audio reconstruction loss, maintaining the focus on learning genuine data features. In addition, content-related bottleneck (BN) features are extracted from the MAE to supplement the knowledge of the original audio. These BN features are adaptively fused with CRER to further improve robustness. With the proliferation of deepfake audio, there is an urgent need to investigate their attribution. Current source tracing methods can effectively distinguish in-distribution (ID) categories. However, the rapid evolution of deepfake algorithms poses a critical challenge in the accurate identification of out-of-distribution (OOD) novel deepfake algorithms. In this paper, we propose Real Emphasis and Fake Dispersion (REFD) strategy for audio deepfake algorithm recognition, demonstrating its effectiveness in discriminating ID samples while identifying OOD samples. For effective OOD detection, we first explore current post-hoc OOD methods and propose NSD, a novel OOD approach in identifying novel deepfake algorithms through the similarity consideration of both feature and logits scores. With the proliferation of Audio Language Model (ALM) based deepfake audio, there is an urgent need for generalized detection methods. ALM-based deepfake audio currently exhibits widespread, high deception, and type versatility, posing a significant challenge to current audio deepfake detection (ADD) models trained solely on vocoded data. To effectively detect ALM-based deepfake audio, we focus on the mechanism of the ALM-based audio generation method, the conversion from neural codec to waveform. We initially construct the Codecfake dataset, an open-source large-scale dataset, including 2 languages, over 1M audio samples, and various test conditions, focus on ALM-based audio detection. As countermeasure, to achieve universal detection of deepfake audio and tackle domain ascent bias issue of original SAM, we propose the CSAM strategy to learn a domain balanced and generalized minima. In our experiments, we first demonstrate that ADD model training with the Codecfake dataset can effectively detects ALM-based audio. Furthermore, our proposed generalization countermeasure yields the lowest average Equal Error Rate (EER) of 0.616% across all test conditions compared to baseline models. Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) data transmission through surface reflection is pivotal for enhancing the reach and efficiency of terahertz (THz) communication systems. However, this innovation also introduces significant eavesdropping risks, exacerbated by the complex bistatic scattering effects during adverse weather conditions like rain. This work delves into the assessment of the vulnerabilities of NLOS THz communication channels to eavesdropping under simulated rain conditions using metallic wavy surfaces (MWS). The observation reveals the feasibility of successful signal interception under these conditions, highlighting a prevalent security concern for outdoor terahertz communication networks utilizing NLOS channels to broaden coverage. The GLR-MQ equation is a nonlinear evolution equation that takes into account the shadowing effect, which tames the growth of the gluon at small-$x$. In this study, we analytically solve for the first time the nonlinear GLR-MQ equation using the homogeneous balance method. The definite solution of the GLR-MQ equation is obtained by fitting the MSTW2008LO gluon distribution data. We find that the geometric scaling is an intrinsic property of our analytical solution and the gluon distribution functions from our solution are able to reproduce the MSTW2008LO data. These results indicate that our analytical solution from the homogeneous balance method is valid to describe the gluon behavior at small-$x$. Moreover, the saturation scale $Q_s$ has been extracted from our analytical solution, we find that the energy-dependent saturation scale obeys the exponential law $Q_s^2\,\propto\,Q_0^2 e^{\lambda Y}$., Comment: 13 pages, 3 figures

An approximated solution for gluon distribution from DGLAP evolution equations with NLO splitting function in the small-$x$ limit is presented. We first obtain the simplified forms of LO and NLO splitting functions in the small-$x$ limit. With these approximated splitting functions, we obtain the analytical gluon distribution by using the Mellin transform. The free parameters in the boundary conditions are obtained by fitting the CJ15 gluon distribution data. We find that the asymptotic behavior of gluon distribution are consistent with the CJ15 data, however, the NLO results with the consideration of ``ladder'' structure of gluon emission are slightly better than those from LO. These results indicate that the corrections from NLO is significant and is necessary for a better description of the behavior of the gluon distribution in small-$x$ region. In addition, we investigate the DGLAP evolution of the proton structure function by using the analytical solution of the gluon distribution. The Abelian decomposition of QCD reveals two types of gluons: color-neutral ``neurons" and color-carrying ``chromons". This classification does not alter the overall properties of QCD, but the investigation of different types of gluon dynamics is necessary. By employing the Cho-Duan-Ge decomposition theorem, we have derived dynamic evolution equations for two types of gluons by using the time-ordered perturbation theory. We propose that the new equations are compatible with the DGLAP equations, requiring only the separate contributions of neurons and chromons to be summed. Surprisingly, with the evolution to high $Q^2$, the ratio of the number of chromons to neurons is approximately 3:1 in small-$x$ region regardless of the inputs at evolution starting point. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the MD-BFKL equation, considering both shadowing and anti-shadowing effects in gluon recombination processes. By deriving analytical expressions for unintegrated gluon distributions through the solution of the MD-BFKL equation, with and without the incorporation of anti-shadowing effect, we offer new insights into the influence of these effects on the behavior of unintegrated gluon distributions. Our results, when compared to the CT18NLO gluon distribution function, demonstrate that the anti-shadowing effect has a notably stronger impact on the characteristics of unintegrated gluon distributions, particularly in regions of high rapidity and momentum. The Terahertz (THz) frequency band offers a wide range of bandwidths, from tens to hundreds of gigahertz (GHz) and also supports data speeds of several terabits per second (Tbps). Because of this, maintaining THz channel reliability and efficiency in adverse weather conditions is crucial. Rain, in particular, disrupts THz channel propagation significantly and there is still lack of comprehensive investigations due to the involved experimental difficulties. This work explores how rain affects THz channel performance by conducting experiments in a rain emulation chamber and under actual rainy conditions outdoors. We focus on variables like rain intensity, raindrop size distribution (RDSD), and the channel's gradient height. We observe that the gradient height (for air-to-ground channel) can induce changes of the RDSD along the channel's path, impacting the precision of modeling efforts. To address this, we propose a theoretical model, integrating Mie scattering theory with considerations of channel's gradient height. Both our experimental and theoretical findings confirm this model's effectiveness in predicting THz channel behavior in rainy conditions. In this study, we employ the homogeneous balance method to obtain an analytical solution to the Balitsky-Kovchegov equation with running coupling. We utilize two distinct prescriptions of the running coupling scale, namely the saturation scale dependent running coupling and the dipole momentum dependent running coupling. By fitting the proton structure function experimental data, we determine the free parameters in the analytical solution. The resulting $\chi^{2}/d.o.f$ values are determined to be $1.07$ and $1.43$, respectively. With these definitive solutions, we are able to predict exclusive $J/\psi$ production, and demonstrate that analytical solutions with running coupling are in excellent agreement with $J/\psi$ differential and total cross section. Furthermore, our numerical results indicate that the analytical solution of the BK equation with running coupling can provide a reliable description for both the proton structure function and exclusive vector meson production., Comment: 14 pages, 5 figures

This paper presents a French text-to-speech synthesis system for the Blizzard Challenge 2023. The challenge consists of two tasks: generating high-quality speech from female speakers and generating speech that closely resembles specific individuals. Regarding the competition data, we conducted a screening process to remove missing or erroneous text data. We organized all symbols except for phonemes and eliminated symbols that had no pronunciation or zero duration. Additionally, we added word boundary and start/end symbols to the text, which we have found to improve speech quality based on our previous experience. For the Spoke task, we performed data augmentation according to the competition rules. We used an open-source G2P model to transcribe the French texts into phonemes. As the G2P model uses the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), we applied the same transcription process to the provided competition data for standardization. However, due to compiler limitations in recognizing special symbols from the IPA chart, we followed the rules to convert all phonemes into the phonetic scheme used in the competition data. Finally, we resampled all competition audio to a uniform sampling rate of 16 kHz. We employed a VITS-based acoustic model with the hifigan vocoder. For the Spoke task, we trained a multi-speaker model and incorporated speaker information into the duration predictor, vocoder, and flow layers of the model. The evaluation results of our system showed a quality MOS score of 3.6 for the Hub task and 3.4 for the Spoke task, placing our system at an average level among all participating teams.

The partons model reveals the dynamical structure of nucleons (protons and neutrons). Studies related to thermodynamic quantities of nucleons are interesting and topical questions. In this work, for the first time we apply Page's theory of the studies of black hole to investigate the entropy of proton system. Inspired by the quantum entanglement entropy in black hole information theories, we establish the proton entanglement with the similar way. Based our calculations, the proton entanglement entropy has the approximate form $S = \ln m -1/2$, where $m$ represents the partons density of proton (mainly gluon and sea quark contributions) at small Bjorken $x$. Large scale pre-training models have been widely used in named entity recognition (NER) tasks. However, model ensemble through parameter averaging or voting can not give full play to the differentiation advantages of different models, especially in the open domain. This paper describes our NER system in the SemEval 2022 task11: MultiCoNER. We proposed an effective system to adaptively ensemble pre-trained language models by a Transformer layer. By assigning different weights to each model for different inputs, we adopted the Transformer layer to integrate the advantages of diverse models effectively. Experimental results show that our method achieves superior performances in Farsi and Dutch.

Exclusive vector meson production is an excellent probe for describing the structure of proton. In this paper, based on dipole model, the differential cross sections, total cross sections and the ratios of the longitudinal to transverse cross sections of $J/\psi$ and $\rho^0$ productions are calculated with the analytical solution of Balitsky-Kovchegov (BK) equation. In addition, we also consider the influences of two meson wave function models on the results. Our predictions, which are little sensitive to meson wave functions, agree with the experimental data. In the present work, we consider nuclear matter in the innermost crust of neutron stars under the presence of a strong magnetic field within the framework of a relativistic mean-field description. Two models with a different slope of the symmetry energy are considered in order to discuss the density-dependence of the equation of state on the crust structure. The non-homogeneous matter in $\beta$-equilibrium is described within the coexisting phases method, and the effect of including the anomalous magnetic moment is discussed. Five different geometries for the pasta structures are considered. It is shown that strong magnetic fields cause an extension of the inner crust of the neutron stars, with the occurrence of a series of disconnected non-homogeneous matter regions above the one existing for a null magnetic field. Moreover, we observed that in these disconnected regions, for some values of the magnetic field, all five different cluster geometrical shapes occur, and the gas density is close to the cluster density. Also, the pressure at the neutron star crust-core transition much larger than the pressure obtained for a zero magnetic field. Another noticeable effect of the presence of strong magnetic fields is the increase of the proton fraction, favoring the appearance of protons in the gas background., Comment: 13 pages, 8 figures. As a lot of studies have declared, the proton structure function $F_2$ explicitly satisfies a power-law mathematical formation. We describe the behavior of proton structure function $F_2$ at small-$x$ as well as large $Q^2$ using the analytical solution of the Balitsky-Kovchegov equation. We obtain the effective slope value $\lambda$ of the structure function with $Q^2$. Our results come from fitting the HERA experimental data at low $Q^2$ region and we also give the prediction for the effective slope of $F_2$ at the high $Q^2$ region., Comment: 15 pages,3 figures,3 tables

We study the deep inelastic scattering (DIS) of a proton-targeted lepton in the presence of gluon condensation using gauge/gravity duality. We use a modified $AdS_5$ background where the modification parameter $c$ corresponds to the gluon condensation in the boundary theory. Firstly, when examining the electromagnetic field, we find that non-zero $c$ can increase the magnitude of the field. Our goal is to find the acceptable value of $c$ for this scattering and our method is based on setting the mass of the proton as an eigenvalue of the baryonic state equations of the DIS to find the acceptable value of the parameter c on the other side of the equations. Therefore in the second step, we calculate wave function equations for the baryonic states where the mass of the proton target requires a value contribution of $c$ as $c = 0.0120 {\rm GeV}^4$. Proceeding by the electromagnetic field and the baryonic states, we derive the holographic interaction action related to the amplitude of the scattering. Finally, we compute the corresponding structure functions numerically as functions of $x$ and $q$, which are Bjorken variables and the lepton momentum transfers, respectively. In order to reveal the difference between the latest neutron star observation experiment GW170817 and the existing theory, we mainly consider the effect of the nucleon radius on the neutron star from the existing theory. We believe that the effect of nucleon radius in neutron star is not negligible, and the mass radius of nucleon should be used instead of the charge radius. The nucleon mass radius is set as $r_m = 0.55\pm0.09$ fm from the new measurements. It is considered as an input to the "Excluded Volume Effects" model in the equation of state of nuclear matter. Using relativistic mean-field models, the formation of clusterized matter, as the one expected to exist in the inner crust of neutron stars, is determined under the effect of strong magnetic fields. As already predicted from a calculation of the unstable modes resulting from density fluctuations at subsaturation densities, we confirm in the present work that for magnetic field intensities of the order of $\approx 5 \times 10^{16}$ G to $5 \times 10^{17}$ G, pasta phases may occur for densities well above the zero-field crust-core transition density. This confirms that the extension of the crust may be larger than expected. It is also verified that the equilibrium structure of the clusterized matter is very sensitive to the intensity of the magnetic fields. Here we report a systematic investigation on the evolution of the structural and physical properties, including the charge density wave and superconductivity of the polycrystalline CuIr2Te4-xIx. X-ray diffraction results indicate that both of a and c lattice parameters increase linearly. The resistivity measurements indicate that the charge density wave is destabilized with slight x but reappears when x is large than 0.9. Meanwhile, the superconducting transition temperature enhances as x raises and reaches a maximum value of around 2.95 K for the optimal composition CuIr2Te3.9I0.1 followed by a slight decrease with higher iodine doping content. The specific heat jump for the optimal composition CuIr2Te3.9I0.1 is approximately 1.46, which is close to the Bardeen Cooper Schrieffer value which is 1.43, indicating it is a bulk superconductor. The results of thermodynamic heat capacity measurements under different magnetic fields, magnetization and magneto-transport measurements further suggest that CuIr2Te4-xIx bulks are type II superconductors. Finally, an electronic phase diagram for this CuIr2Te4-xIx system has been constructed. Nonlinear QCD evolution equations are essential tools in understanding the saturation of partons at small Bjorken $x_{\rm B}$, as they are supposed to restore an upper bound of unitarity for the cross section of high energy scattering. In this paper, we present an analytical solution of Balitsky-Kovchegov (BK) equation using the homogeneous balance method. The obtained analytical solution is similar to the solution of a traveling wave. By matching the gluon distribution in the dilute region which is determined from the global analysis of experimental data (CT14 analysis), we get a definitive solution of the dipole-proton forward scattering amplitude in the momentum space. Based on the acquired scattering amplitude and the behavior of geometric scaling, we present also a new estimated saturation scale $Q_s^2(x)$., Comment: 6 pages, 5 figures

Developing good performance and low-cost oxygen permeable membranes for CO2 capture based on the oxy-fuel concept is greatly desirable but challenging. Despite tremendous efforts in exploring new CO2-stable dual-phase membranes, its presence is however still far from meeting the industrial requirements. Here we report a series of new Ca-containing CO2-resistant oxygen transporting membranes with composition 60wt.%Ce0.9Ln0.1O2-40wt.%Ln0.6Ca0.4FeO3(CLnO-LnCFO; Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm) synthesized via a Pechini one-pot method. Our results indicate all investigated compounds are composed of perovskite and fluorite phases, while the perovskite phases in the CNO-NCFO and CSO-SCFO membranes after sintering generates Ca-rich and Ca-less two kinds of grains with different morphologies, where the Ca-less small perovskite grains block the transport of oxygen ions and eventually result in poor oxygen permeability. Among our investigated CLnO-LnCFO membranes, CPO-PCFO exhibits the highest oxygen permeability and excellent CO2 stability, which were mainly associated with the improvement in crystal symmetry, non-negligible electronic conductivity of fluorite phase and the enhancement in electronic conductivity of perovskite. We have derived a general formula for sensitivity optimization of gravimetric sensors and use it to design a high precision and high sensitivity gravimetric sensor using unidirectional carbon fiber epoxy composite (CFEC) guiding layer on single crystal Mn-doped yPb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-(1-x-y)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (Mn: PIN-PMN-PT) piezoelectric substrate. The normalized maximum sensitivity exhibits a decreasing tendency with temperature up to 55 degrees Celsius. For the CFEC-on-Mn: PIN-PMN-PT sensor configuration with wavelength 24 {mu}m at 25 degrees Celsius, the maximum sensitivity can reach as high as 760.88 cm2/g, which is nearly twice that of traditional SiO2/ST quartz configuration gravimetric sensor.

Error-control-coding (ECC) techniques are widely used in modern digital communication systems to minimize the effect of noisy channels on the quality of received signals. Motivated by the fact that both communication and imaging can be considered as an information transfer process, in this paper we demonstrate that ECC could yield significant improvements in the image quality by reducing the effect of noise in the physical process of image acquisition. In the demonstrated approach, the object is encoded by ECC structured light fields generated by a digital-micromirror-device (DMD) while its image is obtained by decoding the received signal collected by a bucket-detector (BD). By applying a Luby Transform (LT) code as an example, our proof-of-concept experiment validates that the object image can be effectively reconstructed while errors induced by noisy reception can be significantly reduced. The demonstrated approach informs a new imaging technique: ECC assisted imaging, which can be scaled into applications such as remote sensing, spectroscopy and biomedical imaging.

Valence quark distributions of pion at very low resolution scale $Q^{2}_0 \sim 0.1~GeV^2$ are deduced from a maximum entropy method, under the assumption that pion consists of only a valence quark and a valence anti-quark at such a low scale. Taking the obtained initial quark distributions as the nonperturbative input in the modified Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi (with the GLR-MQ-ZRS corrections) evolution, the generated valence quark distribution functions at high $Q^2$ are consistent with the measured ones from a Drell-Yan experiment. The maximum entropy method is also applied to estimate the valence quark distributions at relatively higher $Q^2$ = 0.26 GeV$^{2}$. At this higher scale, other components (sea quarks and gluons) should be considered in order to match the experimental data. Singlet fission (SF), the spontaneous down-conversion of a singlet exciton into two triplet excitons residing on neighboring molecules, is a promising route to improving organic photovoltaic (OPV) device efficiencies by harvesting two charge carriers from one photon. However, only a few materials have been discovered that exhibit intermolecular SF in the solid state, most of which are acene derivatives. Recently, there has been a growing interest in rylenes as potential SF materials. We use many-body perturbation theory in the GW approximation and the Bethe-Salpeter equation (BSE) to investigate the possibility of intermolecular SF in crystalline perylene and quaterrylene. A new method is presented for determining the percent charge transfer character (%CT) of an exciton wave-function from double-Bader analysis. This enables relating exciton probability distributions to crystal packing. Based on comparison to known and predicted SF materials with respect to the energy conservation criterion (ES-2ET) and %CT, crystalline quaterrylene is a promising candidate for intermolecular SF. Furthermore, quaterrylene is attractive for OPV applications thanks to its high stability and narrow optical gap. Perylene is not expected to exhibit SF, however it is a promising candidate for harvesting sub-gap photons by triplet-triplet annihilation.

In this letter, we proposed a ghost imaging (GI) and distributed antennas based microwave surveillance scheme. By analyzing its imaging resolution and sampling requirement, the potential of employing microwave GI to achieve high-quality surveillance performance with low system complexity has been demonstrated. The band alignment in ZnO/GaN and related heterostructures are crucial for the uses in solar harvesting technology. Here, we report our density functional calculations of the band alignment and optical properties of ZnO/GaN and ZnO/(Ga1-xZnx)(N1-xOx)/GaN heterostructures using a Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof (HSE) hybrid functional. We found that the conventional GGA functionals underestimate not only the band gap but also the band offset of these heterostructures. Using the hybrid functional calculations, we show that the (Ga1-xZnx)(N1-xOx) solid solution has a direct band gap of about 2.608 eV, in good agreement with the experimental data. More importantly, this solid solution forms type-II band alignment with the host materials. A GaN/(Ga1-xZnx)(N1-xOx)/ZnO core-shell solar cell model is presented to improve the visible light adsorption ability and carrier collection efficiency.
