Support for early career astronomers who are just beginning to exploreastronomy research is imperative to increase retention of diverse practitionersin the field. Since 2010, Astrobites has played an instrumental role inengaging members of the community -- particularly undergraduate and graduatestudents -- in research. In this white paper, the Astrobites collaborationoutlines our multi-faceted online education platform that both eases thetransition into astronomy research and promotes inclusive professionaldevelopment opportunities. We additionally offer recommendations for how theastronomy community can reduce barriers to entry to astronomy research in thecoming decade.
