Proportion Integral Derivative(PID) controller have to apply in the control system and industries. The objective of this paper was to propose a design the tuning PID used Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) with simulation temperature control of the plant model. The methodology were used technique to search the optimization parameter for tuning controller and comparison with Ziegler-Nichols(ZN). The results found that the time response by ZN has been the overshoot 5.51% and ACO 1.22%. The performance of simulation the plant model has clearly, ACO has been overshoot lower than ZN method, this technique were bring to develop for tuning controller system and application in the practical.
