Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 71-year-old man having pigmented macules of one month duration. Microscopic examination revealed sheets of cells abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm, enlarged nuclei and several mitotic figures. Immunohistochemical studies were negative for CD56, CD20, CD8, CD4 and CD3, and positive for lysozyme, myeolo-peroxidase, CD45 and CD43, which confirms myeloid sarcoma diagnosis.
