Kimura's disease is considered to be a Th2 type allergic reaction based on the presence of eosinophilia and IgE hyperimmunoglobulinemia. We report a 26-year-old Japanese male with this disorder associated with ulcerative colitis. IL-5 is a selective stimulator for the production of eosinophilia and is considered to play an important role in Kimura's disease. IL-5 mRNA from peripheral blood mononuclear cells and the colon lesion were detected by the reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction method, indicating that IL-5 can also be of importance in ulcerative colitis. The article presents a case study of a 58-year-old Japanese woman who has a red plaque on her left thigh for about ten years. The woman underwent a dermatological examination in 2006 revealing the irregular shape of the erythematous plaques on her right breast. Multiple infiltrated red plaques on her trunk and thigh was found out. Moreover, the article provides information on the epidermotropic cytotoxic T-cell lymphoma along with its characteristics.

The article presents a case study of a 62-year-old Japanese man with dark-red tumoural nodules on his scalp and infiltrated dark erythenatours plaques on his face. The doctor treated the patient's condition with psoralen plus ultraviolet A (PUVA) combined with oral etretinate and prednisolone. However, after the treatment, the patient's disease became worse resulting in serious acute hepatitis and folliculotropic mycosis fungoides.
