Abstract

The article talks about the geophysical method of natural gamma radiation applied in stratigraphic classification, counting the gamma photons emitted by natural radionuclides that originates from the interior of the Earth and its redistribution during the formation of rocks and minerals. It talks about the use of natural gamma radiation in search of uranium mine, to identify lithological profile, clay mineral typing and low energy resolution of gamma spectrometry.
