The development of 3D nanoarchitectures on flexible current collectors has emerged as an effective strategy for preparing advanced portable and wearable power sources. Herein, a flexible and efficient electrode is demonstrated based on electrospun carbon fibers (ECF) substrate with elaborately designed hierarchical porous V2O5 nanosheets (V2O5-ECF). The unique configuration of V2O5-ECF composite film fully enables utilization of the synergistic effects from both high electrochemical performance of V2O5 and excellent conductivity of ECF, endowing the films to be an excellent electrode for flexible and lightweight electrochemical capacitors (ECs). Benefiting from their intriguing structural features, V2O5-ECF and ECF films, directly used as electrodes for flexible asymmetric quasi-solid-state electrochemical capacitors, achieve superior flexibility and reliability, enhanced energy/power density, and outstanding cycling stability. Moreover, the ability to power light-emitting diodes (LED) also indicates the feasibility for practical use. Hierarchical NiMoO4 architectures assembled from well-aligned uniform nanosheets or nanorods are successfully grown on various conductive substrates using a facile and effective general approach. Importantly, the nanostructures of NiMoO4 can be easily controlled to be nanosheets or nanorods by using different solvents. By virtue of their intriguing structure features, NiMoO4 nanosheets as integrated additive-free electrodes for supercapacitors manifest higher Faradaic capacitance than NiMoO4 nanorods. Moreover, an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) is constructed using the as-prepared NiMoO4 nanosheets as the positive electrode and activated carbon (AC) as the negative electrode. The optimized ASC with an extended operating voltage range of 0-1.7 V displays excellent electrochemical performance with a high energy density of 60.9 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 850 W kg−1 in addition to superior rate capability. Furthermore, the NiMoO4//AC ASC device exhibits remarkable cycling stability with 85.7% specific capacitance retention after 10 000 cycles. Given that the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) faces challenges due to its sluggish kinetics, development of efficient and robust OER catalytic electrodes is critical for reducing the cost of hydrogen production through electrochemical water splitting. In this study, a biphasic CoNi/Zn(Fe,Al,Cr)2O4 coating, characterized by a densely organized stalagmite‐like microarray structure, is deposited on a commercial pure titanium plate, creating an exceptionally effective OER catalytic electrode. The formation of numerous metal/spinel oxide heterogeneous interfaces is demonstrated to enhance its electron transfer ability and conductivity. At high potentials, aluminum leaching and lattice oxygen consumption can facilitate deep surface reconstruction of highly active Fe‐doped CoNiOOH phase inducing electrochemical activation, further optimizing thermodynamic barrier of the fundamental reaction step. Ultimately, this electrode showcases exceptional OER catalytic performance (low overpotential of 248 and 335 mV to deliver the current density of 10 and 100 mA cm−2) compared to commercial IrO2 catalyst (overpotential of ≈310 mV at 10 mA cm−2). Moreover, it demonstrates high current stability sustaining a current density of 500 mA cm−2 for 100 h. This work deepens the comprehension of the surface reconstruction process in OER and, more broadly, introduces a new avenue for designing and enhancing the performance of catalytic materials. The capacitance of microsupercapacitors (MSCs) can double if both sides of substrates are used to construct MSCs. Nevertheless, achieving electric connections of MSCs through substrates is a challenge due to the difficulty in precisely positioning each MSC couple that has two of the same MSCs units on two sides. In this work, taking advantage of the synchronous etching on both sides of transparent polyethylene terephthalate substrates by femtosecond laser pulses, a double‐sided configuration is attained with high precision in the alignment of back‐to‐back MSC couples and versatile double‐side MSCs are realized via arbitrary on‐ and through‐substrate connections of MXene MSC units. The MXene double‐side MSC fabricated by the series connection of 12 spiral pattern MXene MSC units with interdigital electrodes of 10 μm width interspace can output a large working voltage of 7.2 V. Additionally, femtosecond laser etching brings the transformation of MXene into titania near‐etched edges with a lateral distance less than 1 µm. Such a small laser‐affected area has little influence on the capacitive performance, which is one of advantages for femtosecond laser over conventional lasers. The direct correlation between active sites and catalytic activity in multiple‐component metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) is key to understanding their mechanism of oxygen evolution reaction (OER) but remains vague. Herein, supported multiple‐site MOFs are adopted as model catalysts to quantitatively study the composition‐dependent OER performance. Ni MOFs on Fe metal substrate possess the highest intrinsic OER activity with the Ni/Fe ratio of 1:2 in the presence of metal leaching of the substrate during synthesis. Further introducing a proper amount of Cu further boosts the OER performance of Cu‐doped NiFe MOFs with an impressively low overpotential of 200 mV at 10 mA cm−2. Spectroscopic analysis with theoretical study indicates that the copper doping within the NiFe MOFs induces electron redistribution for high valence Fe sites with an optimized balance of OH/OOH adsorption and decreased energy barrier for improved OER. Abstract: Rational design and massive production of bifunctional catalysts with superior oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activities are essential for developing metal–air batteries and fuel cells. Herein, controllable large‐scale synthesis of sulfur‐doped CaMnO3 nanotubes is demonstrated via an electrospinning technique followed by calcination and sulfurization treatment. The sulfur doping can not only replace oxygen atoms to increase intrinsic electrical conductivity but also introduce abundant oxygen vacancies to provide enough catalytically active sites, which is further demonstrated by density functional theory calculation. The resulting sulfur‐modified CaMnO3 (CMO/S) exhibits better electrocatalytic activity for ORR and OER in alkaline solution with higher stability performance than the pristine CMO. These results highlight the importance of sulfur treatment as a facile yet effective strategy to improve the ORR and OER catalytic activity of the pristine CaMnO3. As a proof‐of‐concept, a rechargeable Zn–air battery using the bifunctional catalyst exhibits a small charge–discharge voltage polarization, and long cycling life. Furthermore, a solid‐state flexible and rechargeable Zn–air battery gives superior discharge–charge performance and remarkable stability. Developing efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts toward oxygen/hydrogen evolution reactions is crucial for electrochemical water splitting toward hydrogen production. The high‐performance electrocatalysts depend on the catalytically active and highly accessible reaction sites and their structural robustness, while the rational design of such electrocatalysts with desired features avoiding tedious manufacture is still challenging. Here, a facile method is reported to synthesize mesoporous and heterostructured transition metal oxides strongly anchored on a nickel skeleton (MH‐TMO) containing identified Fe–Cu oxide interfaces with high intrinsic activity, easy accessibility for reaction intermediates, and long‐term stability for alkaline oxygen/hydrogen evolution reactions. The MH‐TMO with the electrocatalytically active Fe–O–Cu bridge has an optimal oxygen binding energy to facilitate adsorption/desorption of oxygen intermediates for oxygen molecules. Associated with the high mass transport through the nanoporous structure, MH‐TMO exhibits impressive oxygen evolution reaction catalysis, with an extremely low overpotential of around 0.22 V at 10 mA cm−2 and low Tafel slope (44.5 mV dec−1) in 1.0 M KOH, realizing a current density of 100 mA cm−2 with an overpotential as low as 0.26 V. As a result, the alkaline electrolyzer assembled by the bifunctional MH‐TMO catalysts operates with an outstanding overall water‐splitting output (1.49 V@10 mA cm−2), outperforming one assembled with noble‐metal‐based catalysts. Dual‐sites single atom catalysts hold promise for efficiently regulating multiple reaction processes and explicitly explaining the underlying mechanisms. However, delicate atomic engineering for dual‐site single atom catalysts remains a huge challenge. Herein, atomically dispersed Fe‐Ni single atoms embedded in a nitrogen‐doped carbon matrix (FeNi SAs/NC) are successfully developed with extraordinary activity for electrocatalytic oxygen reduction and evolution reactions (ORR/OER). The atomic FeNi SAs/NC catalyst displays high onset potential (0.98 V) and half‐wave potential (0.84 V) for the ORR, as well as, low overpotential of (270 mV) at 10 mA cm−2 for the OER. The density functional theory calculations indicate that the Fe site as the active center can facilitate the four‐electron reaction process, while Ni sites regulate the electronic structure of Fe sites and further reduce the energy barrier of the rate‐determining step. In addition, the nitrogen‐doped carbon matrix prevents the metal atoms from aggregation and corrosion, leading to the improvement of catalyst durability. As a proof of concept, flexible quasi‐solid‐state zinc– and aluminum–air batteries assembled with the FeNi SAs/NC catalyst exhibit superior peak power densities and discharging specific capacities outperforming the commercial Pt/C. Wind is one of the most important sources of green energy, but the current technology for harvesting wind energy is only effective when the wind speed is beyond 3.5–4.0 m s−1. This is mainly due to the limitation that the electromagnetic generator works best at high frequency. This means that light breezes cannot reach the wind velocity threshold of current wind turbines. Here, a high‐performance triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) for efficiently harvesting energy from an ambient gentle wind, especially for speeds below 3 m s−1 is reported, by taking advantage of the relative high efficiency of TENGs at low‐frequency. Attributed to the multiplied‐frequency vibration of ultra‐stretchable and perforated electrodes, an average output of 20 mW m−3 can be achieved with inlet wind speed of 0.7 m s−1, while an average energy conversion efficiency of 7.8% at wind speed of 2.5 m s−1 is reached. A self‐charging power package is developed and the applicability of the TENG in various light breezes is demonstrated. This work demonstrates the advantages of TENG technology for breeze energy exploitation and proposes an effective supplementary approach for current employed wind turbines and micro energy structure.
