A new household multi-functional shoe cabinet was designed and prototyped. This shoe cabinet not only maintained the features of multi-function and intelligent control of the traditional one, but also made an innovation in its shortages. Through geometric space analysis and computation, selected rotary shoe rack for shoe storage for its space utilization rate is 1.6 times larger than the traditional one. A fully automatic shoe-cleaning device was designed and prototyped by using profiling mechanism, electronic timers and cam mechanism. Ozone disinfection and PTC dryer were used in shoes maintenance. The results in the performance test demonstrates that this shoe cabinet can accommodated 18 pairs of shoes in common use and clean and maintain shoes of size 34 ~ 45.

In order to remove the malodorous pollutants of total reduced sulfur (TRS) produced by kraft pulp mill, the experimental device was designed to remove the TRS gases in accordance with the principle of ClO2oxidizing TRS gases. After ClO2oxidizes TRS gases, the substances produced are absorbed by lye, which achieve the purpose of removing TRS gases. At the same time, these alkali absorber can be reused to the sulfur cycle of kraft pulp mills. With the self-designed experiment apparatus, the removal rate of H2S and CH3SH are 99.40% and 99.8% respectively, the concentration of H2S reduces from 1.275g/m3to 0.137mg/m3, the concentration of CH3SH reduces from 1.457g/m3to 0.032 mg/m3, which both reach national grade iii emission standards.

Aimed at exploring the mechanism of acupuncture therapy, we develop functional brain networks using electroencephalogram (EEG) data, and use the methods cluster coefficient to analyze the functional networks. We develop the following result: during the acupuncture, the structure of network becomes tighter, the relativity grows stronger and the structure of the networks becomes complex. Our conclusion is that acupuncture is able to affect the firing properties of the central nervous system, and make the information transmission in the brain functional sections stronger.

A navigation star catalog (NSC) selection algorithm via support vector machine (SVM) is proposed in this paper. The sphere spiral method is utilized to generate the sampling boresight directions by virtue of obtaining the uniform sampling data. Then the theory of regression analysis methods is adopted to extract the NSC, and an evenly distributed and small capacity NSC is obtained. Two criterions, namely a global criterion and a local criterion, are defined as the uniformity criteria to test the performance of the NSC generated. Simulations show that, compared with MFM, magnitude weighted method (MWM) and self-organizing algorithm(S-OA), the Boltzmann entropy (B.e) of SVM selection algorithm (SVM-SA) is the minimum, to 0.00207. Simultaneously, under the conditions such as the same field of view (FOV) and elimination of the hole, both the number of guide stars (NGS) and standard deviation (std) of SVM-SA is the least, respectively 7668 and 2.17. Consequently, the SVM-SA is optimal in terms of the NGS and the uniform distribution, and has also a strong adaptability.

According to the problems in the process of high-density mesh plate that mesh holes of plate is too density and the device screw bar is not long enough for the original equipment, a set process is used to overcome the problems of lying out and fixing for punchers. A simple special tool is designed. Fixed and slide ruler mechanisms are installed in the original machine. Repeat-orientation and several division methods are used, and the stroke of the original machine is increased two times, which successfully solves the processing problems and creates good economic benefits.

The random spruce short fiber reinforced polypropylene composites is a type of thermoplastic bio-composites. It is considered as homogeneous, isotropic in macro-scale of its specimen, in fiber scale about 500μm, the composite material appears heterogeneity, anisotropy due to the influence of microstructures of random short fibers. The heterogeneous deformations near the crack tip of the compact tension (CT) specimen which made from spruce/PP composites were measured by means of the digital image correlation method (DICM) with high resolutions digital image. The crack tip fields of heterogeneous displacement and strain for spruce/PP composites with fiber volume content 49% were obtained. The effects of random fiber microstructures on macroscopic deformations were discussed.

Achieving the detection and tracking of moving targets has been widely applied in all fields of today's society. Because of the shortcomings of traditional video tracking system, this paper proposes a novel method for designing video processing system based on hardware design of FPGA and DSP, and moving target in video can be detected and tracked by this system. In this system, DSP as the core of the system, it mainly completes the processing algorithms of video and image data, FPGA as a coprocessor, responsible for the completion of the processing of external data and logic. The hardware structure, link configuration, program code and other aspects of system are optimized. Finally, through the experiment, the input frame rate of video is 40frames/s, and the image resolution is 512pixels × 512pixels, median 16bites quantitative image sequence, the system can complete the relevant real-time detection and tracking algorithm and extract targets position of image sequences correctly. The results show that the advantage is that this system has powerful operation speed, real time, high accuracy and stability.

For the moving small dim targets in visible image sequences with low SNR and complex background, whose contained characters are simple and poor, they are extracted difficultly. This paper proposes a new method to detect and extract positions of small dim moving targets. According to the features of moving targets, in a very short time interval, the target trajectory is considered as a straight line approximately. Firstly, it makes use of threshold segmentation methods to extract the positions of targets in each frame, then building the motion line equations after the joint of multi-frame processing results. Finally, the position of small dim targets are detected out and extracted, and false targets are eliminated accurately. Hardware system was designed and the algorithm is implemented on hardware systems successfully. The experiment results show related functions of the system and extracting algorithm is feasible, the system is stable and has a strong process ability, which can effectively detect and extract small and dim target in complex background correctly.

Foam concrete is used in building energy-saving insulation works, to study its fire performance is very important for further enhancing the fire performance of buildings. Under simulated fire conditions, by determining the compressive strength of foam concrete at different densities, different calcination time and different water content, this experiment studies the effect of these conditions on the fire performance of foam concrete. The results show that in case of fire, the compressive strength loss rate of foam concrete increases with the decreasing of density; to calcine the foam concrete standard specimens whose density are 300kg/m3 and 800kg/m3, their strength loss rates are 66.3% and 25.5%, the compressive strength of foam concrete in the same density increases with the calcination time decreasing, water content has different effects on different densities of foam concrete in the fire security. The foam concrete is non-flammable, but its compressive strength decreases due to the fire of combustible materials and high-temperature calcination.

The prestressed steel beam is regarded as a composite system of beam and cables, and the interaction of the two parts is fully considered. The variational method is used to derive the equations for calculating the tension increment of external cables and deflection of steel beam under applied loadings. A model test of prestressed steel beam is used to verify the calculation results.
