Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to design and develop a basis geospatial data management system. It offers database building, conversion, topology check, query statistics, data extraction, cartographic output, analysis and decision-making for massive geospatial data on a range of basic geospatial data management function. The main research includes the design of basis geospatial database, data management system and the key technologies in system development. Geographic information from 2D to 3D is the result of technical progress and demand-driven, 3D modeling and 3D visualization environment-based spatial analysis and query is the future development direction of the geospatial data management system.

Abstract

Due to the existence of large numbers of local and global optima of super-high dimension complex functions, general Particle Swarm Optimizer (PSO) methods are slow speed on convergence and easy to be trapped in local optima. In this paper, an Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimizer(APSO) is proposed, which employ an adaptive inertia factor and dynamic changes strategy of search space and velocity in each cycle to plan large-scale space global search and refined local search as a whole according to the fitness change of swarm in optimization process of the functions, and to quicken convergence speed, avoid premature problem, economize computational expenses, and obtain global optimum. We test the proposed algorithm and compare it with other published methods on several super-high dimension complex functions, the experimental results demonstrate that this revised algorithm can rapidly converge at high quality solutions.

26. Y3Al5O12 Nanocrystallites Prepared from a Novel Crystalline Precursor

Abstract

A novel crystalline precursor for preparing Y3Al5O12 (YAG) nanocrystallite was synthesized via a co-precipitation method using (NH4)2CO3 solution as the precipitator. The precursor was characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), thermal gravimetry (TG), differential thermal gravimetry (DTG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), respectively. The empirical chemical formula of the crystalline precursor can be expressed as 5[(NH4)2Al6(CO3)3(OH)14]×9[Y2(CO3)3×3H2O] according to the test results. The measured weight loss of 46.7% of the precursor without consideration of the absorbed water is in accord with the calculated value of 47.5% according to the above empirical formula. The phase-pure YAG nanocrystallites were obtained by calcining the above precursors at 900°C for 2 hours in air atmosphere. Transmission electronic microscopy (TEM) result showed that the particle size of YAG nanocrystallites is 40-80 nm. The mechanism of themal decomposition of the crystalline precursor was also presented.
