OPGW shall be lightening-proof and grounded after entering transformer station framework. Due to problems existing in grounding, optical cable is discharged and breaks down. For such a purpose, the Author investigates several down leading and grounding methods on OPGW framework, by comparing and analyzing, and proposes the “framework down leading insulation not grounded”. This method adopts framework insulation down leading not grounded and grounded reinforced on terminal tower to solve the issue of framework grounding and result in sound effects.

In order to understand Isolated Heat Transfer Gaskets placement scheme's influence on the dynamic performance of the MED electric control box,on the basis of theoretical analysis, Finite Element Modal analysis and random vibration analysis have proceeded for different Isolated Heat Transfer Gaskets placement program, and comparative analysis of the two results. Analysis results provide the basis for further optimal design of the MED electric control box.

The uneven settlement of ground is the common problem in the engineering construction. Based on the Fuyan Bridge whose uneven settlement of ground leads to the crack of abutment and arch ring, the settlement deformation of abutment ground is analyzed by means of FE software ANSYS with the hypothesis of soil parameters. The law and curves are obtained that illustrate the relationship between variation of calculation parameters in soil & settlement deformation in abutment foundation, which offer references to design and construction of other similar projects.

The treatment of soft soil foundation is a common but hot and difficult problem in the construction projects. Based on the reinforced treatment of abutment foundation in Fuyan Bridge and the hypothesized different treatment measures, settlement deformation of abutment foundation was calculated and analyzed by means of software ANSYS; variations of synthetic modulus for foundation soil and curves of settlement deformation of abutment foundation were obtained, which offers references to the design and construction of such projects.

With the increase of traffic volume, the enlarging tunnel span and the decreasing of surrounding rock integrity, the level of surrounding rock will be lower. This article proposed the calculating method of relative integrity index based on the concept of relative integrity of surrounding rock and established the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method for rock classification by analyzing the impact of tunnel span enlargement upon rock stability. It also specified the determination factors, discussed the selection of weight indexes and proposed methods of establishing the qualitative and quantitative subordinate degrees. Based on practices of the expressways of Fuzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou, this article made fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of rock classification and fully analyzed the results of the evaluation. Results showed that with the enlargement of tunnel span, levels of surrounding rock would lower accordingly, and that the worse surrounding rock was, the more it would lower.
