Wireless sensor network through a set of connected by wireless sensor node sensing, collecting and processing information, has the characteristics of low cost, flexibility. The gateway device is also equipped with the GPRS communication unit, the GPRS communication unit is mainly composed of GM862 module. This paper uses GPRS technology to transmit physiological data, can not consider the establishment of wireless sensor network. The paper proposes design and application of the wireless sensor network system based on GPRS Technology.

In order to solve the inconvenience of line arrangement under bad environment and the maintenance difficulty, a design method of a wireless temperature monitoring system based on ZIGBEE is given. The system uses RemoDAQ-8000 as temperature sensor and control platform, ZIGBEE wireless communication for wireless communication network. Through five groups based on ZIGBEE. The temperature control experiment, obtained the first-hand information, so as to realize the wireless monitoring; at the same time, the system can be in the local area network, using C/S and B/S two ways to control and query. Experiments show that using wire communication, ZIGBEE wireless communication instead of the traditional, can have an important effect in the field of process control

With the development of WLAN,construction of wireless campus network based on WLAN technology,as an extension of wired campus network, become an important direction of development of the vocational college campus network. This paper proposed vocational college wireless campus network using "AC + Fit AP" wireless network design, from the selection of equipment, covering design, safety management, scalability and other aspects of the planning and design of the wireless campus network, it is hoped to be useful to the construction of wireless campus network vocational college.

This paper presents a design of wireless data collector based on WIA-PA. The wireless data collector collects analog signal of voltage or current, and transmits it to the host computer wirelessly. Through it, the traditional 4-20mA or 0-5V analog interfaced instrument can be easily accessed to the newly designed wireless data acquisition system, which saves wiring and maintenance costs.

A wireless networking method for smart agricultural facilities was proposed in this paper. In order to extend the life span of battery-powered wireless sensor network nodes, this article proceed from the power module, data processing module, wireless module and MAC protocols to design an ultra-low-power wireless sensor network nodes. The nodes improve the power module efficiency maximally, at the same time it utilizes the ultra-low-power data processing module and the asynchronous MAC protocol adopting a sleep wake-up mechanism. Thus it reduces the integrated energy consumption of wireless module significantly. The life span of the nodes has been increased more than three times. In a word, the design in proposed in this paper greatly cuts down the energy consumption of wireless sensor network, which has practical significance of expanding the application space and improving the application effects of wireless sensor network.

Aimed at the shortage water resources and demand for water-saving irrigation in our country, this paper puts forward an irrigation control system realization method by using wireless sensor network on the basis of Zigbee wireless network. And then, this paper shows the specific implementation details. Through the preliminary experiments, it has been proved that this system can accurately obtain data from network node. Besides, the system is stable so that it has certain application value.

With the rapid development of computer technology and wireless network communication technology, video encoding technology will be more and more widely applied in the limited resources of the wireless network. Due to the large amount of data of the video transmission , transmission quality of transmit video on the wireless network are varied with different compression parameters, network parameters and network conditions. Simulation results show that the transmission of video over wireless networks, must be based on the current network conditions, choosing the suitable GOP length and quantitative parameters to get the high image quality. In specific applications, network topology, network bandwidth, routing technology and transmission of packet segmentation scheme and other factors will affect the quality of service for video services.

Cooling water from some plant raises the water temperature. It disrupts the water environment balance, and affects the cooling efficiency of the plant. Therefore, it is important to learn the water environment temperature and predict temperature rise design outfall for feasibility of project. In the project sea area, there are some outfalls existed, so it is possible that the water temperature will be higher than the design value of the project and influence water environment further. In this paper, based on site survey data, the feasibility study are carried out by mathematic model simulation. The result shows that the byland make the water of two parts in the bay exchange rarely. The water temperature of CTA intake is below design temperature, and the water temperature of cooling water of CTA mainly influences about 1 km area that no serious influence to other intakes.

Wireless sensor networks with highly dynamic characteristics and limited resources, this paper presents a simple service management Strategy. It realizes service deployment management across different clusters, the request and the response of wireless sensor is simple that based on the protocol data format of XML WSNXML between the clusters. It provides an effective method for the management of shared resources of wireless sensor network and service expansion and realizes service release and deployment management difficulties between various wireless sensor network management based on different management cluster.

In this paper, we propose an algorithm for cluster generating and service discovery based on service popularity in wireless community network,which makes full use of the imbalance of the service request in the network, leading to that the requests could be replied quickly in shorter time. At the same time, the algorithm could adapt well to the wireless environment and incur less update information when the topology is changed. According to the simulation in the OMNET++, our algorithm performs better than the flooding and CRP in several aspects.

The detection device of combustible gas are designed in the presented work,using wireless transceiver and GSM network.The system realize the wireless transmission of the gas concentration,and also can send alarm information to user’s mobile when an exception occurs. The system consists of two parts: a master and slave. The function of the slave is to collect data, process data and transffer the data to the master. The task of the master is to receive data and display it by LED. The signal acquisition is completed by sensor TGS813 and A/D converter TLC2543. The wireless transmission is achieved through wireless transceiver nRF905. Since the accuracy of the sensor is affected by the environment, using DS18B20 to achieve temperature compensation. And with wireless communication module TC35i and GSM network platform, we can send the alarm information to user’s mobile promptly.

This paper describes a kind of design of wireless communication system based on CC1101 and MSP430 including parts of hardware and software, gives the main program flow, and finally the entire system was tested. Because of its low cost, high reliability, it can be conveniently, separately apply to other serial measurement control system, and to achieve the two-way wireless data transmission.

With the development of agricultural modernization, agricultural environment protection, sensor technology, MEMS, wireless communications, Wireless Sensor Networks have been paid great attention in industry field and our daily life, this paper designs an agricultural environment monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks, and gives the hardware design of sensor nodes and the flowchart of software. In order to meet requirements of agricultural environment monitoring signals, MSP430F149 is chosen as the microprocessor, and CC2420 module acts as the wireless communication module. The system can real-timely monitor agriculture environmental information, such as the temperature, humidity and light intensity.

Integration of the wireless LANs (WLAN) and 3G networks, such as Universal Mobile Telecommunication Service (UMTS), has been intensively studied recently due to their complementary characteristics. In this paper, we design and implement a flexible protocol stack architecture which can support concurrent transmission via multiple radio interfaces. Furthermore, the multiple services with various QoS requirements are differentiated and transported in the best wireless access network which is determined by the proposed network selection criterion-- Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), in the heterogeneous wireless network. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed concurrent transmission scheme improves the network utility and provide the QoS services among the multiple wireless access networks more efficiently.

With the ever-increasing expansion of wireless voice and data plan demands, bandwidth constrained wireless channels intervened with mobility issues lay out a great challenge in the hardware configuration, software development and algorithm design of communication systems. This paper presents our work on a modular and standards-independent DSP-based testbed designed for real-time video communication over low-bandwidth channels. In particular, the real-time transmission of MPEG-4 video and JPEG2000 still images over the Bluetooth wireless standard is demonstrated here. The testbed was designed to explore the possibilities, demands, and challenges of real-time wireless video transmission. The work could have tremendous near-future applications.

With the rapid development of wireless network technology, wireless networks have been widely used in many fields due to the flexibility of wireless access. However, in the field of video transmission, because the link state is instability and the transmission is easily interfered in wireless networks, the quality of video transmission is affected badly. In fading and shadowing channels, some users can’t watch the video normally. This paper provides an adaptive QoS solution of real-time video stream in wireless network, by adding a relay server it can provide multicast or unicast video stream satisfying multiple QoS for users with different network state. This solution has been successfully applied in Qingdao Public safety emergency video surveillance system.

Design a kind of basis weight instrument based on wireless transmission technology, which adapt to the basis weight measurement and control system. Show the hardware and software structure. It uses C8051F353 as MCU, and uses CC1100 as wireless communication chip. The instrument can control the scanning bracket to detect paper’s basis weight on line automatically, or remote manual control. It may connect to wireless sensor network, or integrated in DCS. The precision is high to 0.05%. It can be used to detect all kinds of paper and board by using different radiate source.

This paper take Pingyi County as an example, with the new round of land planning and site survey data, by using GIS spatial analysis function, carried out the layout suitability evaluation of rural settlement, offered solutions for solving the extensive land use problems in current construction of the rural settlement such as disordering,hollowing and “one household, multiple houses”, improving the “dirty, disordering and poor” phenomemon of village living environment, changing the lagging situation that all sorts of infrastructure and public facilities in the village, meanwhile provided a theoretical basis for the rural settlement planning in the new round of land planning and consolidation.

The application of wireless sensor network technology in the field of medical and health, especially in remote monitoring applications, has an important practical significance to our country entered old age. A design of wireless remote health monitoring system based on nRF24E1 was studied, completed the wireless sensor network node’s circuit of hardware , operating principle and design method of software. Through a simple application of the design, the resources of the hardware is saved, the complexity of the software is simplified . And the hardware of the system is simple, low power consumption and practical.

Currently, data communications used in the monitoring and scheduling system of urban water supply network can be simply divided into wireless and wired. While the wireless data communications with network flexibility, less investment, easy maintenance, cost-effective advantages. Therefore, the wireless data communications has become a major data transmission in urban water supply scheduling. The wireless transmission of state parameters in urban water supply pipe network was studied in this paper. This paper presents a wireless monitoring and scheduling scheme based on the short message transmission technology in urban water supply network. It introduced the hardware components of the system, and wireless data transmission software.

An old multi-plate arch bridge (arch bridge) was built at a busy mining site for mine transportation in Western Australia in the early 1970s. After operation for more than 30 years, large deformations were noticed at the openings of two steel plate arches out the four at one side of the bridge. Site survey and inspection were carried, showing some corrosion and large deformation at the eastern end of the middle two arches of the bridge. This paper presents a simplified 2D finite element analysis (FEA) for predicting and evaluating the excessive deformation of the aged plates of the bridge. The finite element analysis results are consistent with the survey data for the deformed shape. It is found that the local failure was mainly caused by inadequate engineering design of skewed bridge a structure under the heavy traffic loads from iron ore mining trains on top of it.

The study introduced foreign and domestic situation of wireless sensor network technology in precision agriculture in detail. Applications of wireless sensor network are universal in foreign precision agriculture, however in its beginning stage in domestic agriculture. The function of domestic system based on wireless sensor network is usually positioning measurement and processing of agriculture elements, which does not meet final requirement of precision agriculture. The study designed a universal wireless sensor network for M2M combined intelligent communication technology and big agriculture machinery. The key technologies of wireless sensor network for M2M include development plan of ISA SP100.11a, spectrum technology based on DSSS, network technology based on net routing and low power radio frequency design, which can meet the real-time character, reliability, robustness and low energy consumption requirement of wireless communication in precision fruits. Moreover, the study presented several typical applications in precision fruits (including farming machine, water-saving irrigation machine and picking machine). With development of precision fruits in breadth and depth, integration application of wireless sensor network would have a widen prospect in the future.

In mobile wireless sensor networks, sensor nodes may due to their own moves, energy loss, physical damage, errors and failures or other factors, will result the case of coverage holes, and then lead to inefficient network coverage. This paper designed a new algorithm based on clustering approach for mobile wireless sensor network, can monitor the network in real-time and repairing coverage holes quickly. Simulation results show that, the algorithm used in mobile wireless sensor network not only can achieve the desired uniformity of coverage, but also increase the coverage area, and better performance than the Virtual force algorithm(VFA) [1].

Introduces a wireless video sensor, which is based on wireless sensor networks technique. It can be widely used including battlefield intelligence, security monitoring, and environmental tracking. The Zigbee communication protocols is based on the IEEE 802.15.4-2003 standard. With JPEG compression, the video can be transmitted through the low rate wireless network. Wireless video sensor nodes form mesh networks, and transmit video information to coordinator. The coordinator connects to monitor station, and the monitor software display the video from the nodes in the wireless networks.

In order to back Low-Carbon Cities Plan, China’s urban renewal and the protection of traditional neighborhoods, and after literature searching and site survey, spatial evolution and site inspection in Huilongwo area, the authors point out that we should combine modern eco-technological methods such as solar energy application, reclaimed water system, ground source heat pump, solar energy application and so on with the protective measures of historical neighborhoods, and improving the living facilities of the Historic District. Only implant the modern ecological system into the historic context conservation, the city could be reaching the “sustainable development”. It’s a sound sample of urbanization in China.

The information monitoring points for greenhouse environment were scattered, so a wireless sensor network with star-type network topology was designed and the wireless monitoring system for greenhouse was developed. By employing CC2430 chip as the core hardware, WSN implemented real-time data acquisition and remote wireless transmission. The field data was transmitted to the monitoring host through RS-232 interface. The node management software was developed based C language and the data management software was developed using LabVIEW 8.6. The system was featured by low cost and simply installation. The primary experiments show that the system performance is stable and can meet the design requirement of remote data acquisition.
