With abscibe acid as combustion agent, Zn (NO3)27H2O and Ce (NO3)36H2O as raw material, the CeO2-ZnO composite oxide was synthesized by an novel combustion method. The experiment investaged the effect of molar ratio of combustion agents, Zn and Ce on composite oxides. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, IR, UV. The molar ratio of Ce, Zn and combustion agents is different, the composite oxides possess various morphology and properities. The photocatalytic experiment of composite oxide showed that under the optimal photocatalytic condition Methylene blue solution is completely degradated to need 240 min and under the optimal decoloring condition Methylene blue solution is completely decolorized to need 180 min.

Tianjin, due to its severe shortage and inefficient use of water resource, is now facing many problems such as land substance, pollutions of wastewater irrigation etc., which will restrict its sustainable development of social economy. As a newly, useful, and potential unconventional water resource, reclaimed water can be used broadly to improve the unsatisfied situation of water utilization in Tianjin. In this paper, based on an analysis of the status of present reclaimed water use project and associated plans of future reclaimed water utilization, the authors gave a detailed discuss on the existed problem of reclaimed water use, and then put forward some relative suggestions and recommendations about the sustainable management of reclaimed water utilization in Tianjin, such as management mechanism, reclaimed water price and economic stimulating mechanism, constructions of infrastructure, supporting of science and technology, laws and policies, and supervision system and public participation.

The rapid growth in end-of-life electronic products in recent years has seriously threatened the environment. While if the renewable resource industry introduced the concept of modern logistics, they will be the best carrier for the activities of reverse logistics. The paper aimed to find out the way for the renewable resource enterprises taking part in the reverse logistics, and how they could cooperate with the Manufacturing Industrial Park, and then form the Regional Eco-Industrial Park. This research took two typical districts of Tianjin Ziya Environmental Protection Industrial Park and Tianjin Economic Technological Development Area for example to discuss the foundation and the management for the renewable resource industry in Tianjin, and built a closed-loop supply chain for end-of-life electronic products recycling.

The microencapsulated phase change material is a kind of functional material with latent heat. It may be used applied heat storage and energy transport systems. Methods of the microcapsule production and four kinds of production process are introduced.

The effective dissolution method of 4,4,4-trifluoro-3-(indole-3-)butyric acid (TFIBA) to rice plant growth was examined. Elongation of rice seminal root was promoted approximately 80% by continuous supply of 10-5 mol L-1 TFIBA dissolved in water. The primitive effect of TFIBA dissolved in DMSO on root elongation was greater than that of TFIBA dissolved in water, and the length of root was significantly increased by 233% by treatment with TFIBA at 10-5 mol L-1, compared with that in untreated control seedlings. However, DMSO occurred increase of root weight and showed somewhat disadvantage about reproducibility of TFIBA effect. In contrast, the reproducibility of TFIBA effect was high in the solution prepared with water.
