The purpose of this bibliometric study and literature review is to examine the connection between student sustainability committees and science education. The objective of this study is to methodically record the amount, trend, and intellectual framework of knowledge advancement. Information is gathered from the Scopus database and examined using Microsoft Excel and R Studio. A searchable database with 147 papers has been built by us. According to preliminary data, there has been a rise in the number of articles published about student sustainability committees and science education. R is used in bibliometric studies to find the most influential subjects' journals, authors, and papers. With the use of word clouds, trend themes, word dynamics, and tree maps, the analysis is done to examine how the themes have evolved. This study explains the reasons behind the topic's rise to popularity in science classrooms and among student sustainability committees. This paper investigates the spatial mechanism of architecture without order that can embrace sustainability in architecture. Throughout history, the architectural design process has never been separated from applying for rigid order as an ideal paradigm. However, the application of rigid order tends to look apart from the existing conditions and ignore the chronological time aspect. Therefore, no rigid order mechanism can confront the possibility of existing context conditions that naturally appear to reinvent sustainability's design in architecture. The study utilized a contingency and indeterminacy approach with its potential to redefine the application of rigid order in architectural design. The discussion circulates the idea that contingency is emphasized in three things, i.e., subjects that keep changing, changes of subject, and chronological lines of time. These three aspects are further utilized to analyze precedents that used a contingency approach through their design process. This paper proposes a gradation zone as a potential mechanism for developed architectural design in no rigid order. Gradation zone includes a form of dynamic implementation of simultaneous events, immersive experience and ambiance, and different space quality with the nature of constantly changing according to the possibilities. Further discussion using this gradation zone within the design process can reinvent sustainability forms such as boundary, spatial organization, and the path that can exist without rigid order. This research paper investigates the feasibility of manufacturing a Mini Turbojet Engine with a centrifugal compressor using a combination of stainless-steel parts and automobile components. The objective is to explore the potential of creating a functional and efficient micro turbojet engine utilizing readily available materials, thereby significantly reducing the manufacturing and operational costs of the engine. The study employs various techniques such as metal fabrication, welding, and machining, with the aid of SolidWorks software for precise design and modeling of the engine components to ensure optimal performance. The compressor of the engine incorporates a centrifugal impeller, offering high efficiency and low weight, while the turbine assembly is derived from a modified automobile turbocharger, which possesses high-temperature resistance and is readily available in the market. The engine's performance is evaluated in terms of thrust, demonstrating its capability to generate sufficient thrust for micro jet engines. This study showcases the potential of utilizing stainless steel parts and automobile components to create a low-cost and sustainable solution for micro jet engines. Given that many manufacturers incorporate refurbishing into current business strategies, it is worth noting that these endeavors are typically accompanied by a critical interest in refurbished items cannibalizing new ones. Several manufacturers have implemented a "two-roof policy" to address this issue, in which new and refurbished items are marketed in separate locations. In contrast, certain manufacturers have a "one-roof policy", where both products are marketed via a single channel or chain. The purpose of this paper is to explore the issue of how differentiated roof policies affect refurbishing operations in terms of sustainability issues by developing two models whereby manufacturers can market refurbished and brand-new products under a two (Model D) or one roof policy (Model S). The main conclusion is that if manufacturers are committed to environmental sustainability, offering both items under one roof is wise. Within this framework, IoT sensors strategically deployed across agricultural fields gather real-time environmental data, while high-resolution crop images are captured using drones and on-site cameras. ML models, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), harness this data to enable early and accurate disease detection. With the increasing demand for energy worldwide, it has become imperative to explore and adopt sustainable energy practices. In this regard, predicting household electricity consumption accurately is essential, as it can help optimize energy usage and reduce waste. This paper focuses on using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) shows the neural networks to prevent household electricity consumption in India. The LSTM model was implemented using the Keras library in Python. The model was trained using the training set and tested using the testing set. The study demonstrated that LSTM neural networks are a promising approach to predicting household electricity consumption in India. Soybean in Indonesia mostly planted during late dry season after rice harvested in rainfed land resulting in crop failure due to drought. The effect of drought in some areas becomes more severe due to climate change. This paper discusses the breeding and development of soybean varieties tolerant to drought to anticipate the effect of climate change in Indonesia. Breeding program at ILETRI has released three drought tolerant soybean varieties during the reproductive phase. Dering 1 variety was derived from a promising line DV/2984-330 which was cross between Davros variety and MLG 2984; Dering 2 variety was derived from a promising line AB-157-41-22 which was a single cross between Baluran variety with Arg/GCP-335 line; and Dering 3 variety was derived from a promising line DM-122-357-17 which a single cross between Dering 1 and Malabar varieties. Dering 1, Dering 2, and Dering 3 varieties showed average grain yield of 2.12, 2.49, and 2.42 t / ha, respectively which was 1.9 - 19.7%, higher than Grobogan variety. This paper proposes a framework for analysing and evaluating the integration of ergonomic design and sustainable materials in fashion manufacturing. The research is based on an exhaustive literature evaluation in the fields of ergonomical and sustainable materials in fashion. The framework consists of three components: designing for ergonomics, selecting sustainable materials, and assessing the environmental impact of the production process. To validate the framework, a survey was conducted among fashion and textile industry professionals. The results imply a high level of awareness and interest in the incorporation of ergonomics and material sustainability, but also reveal some obstacles in the industry's implementation of these practises. The study concludes that a comprehensive approach to ergonomic design and material sustainability can result in improved working conditions for employees, reduced environmental impact, and improved product quality in the apparel manufacturing industry. This paper dispenses a study on sustainability of TiN-TiCN-Al2O3−ZrCN coated tungsten carbide (WC) cutting inserts during dry condition turning of T6 tampered AA7075, through investigation of influence of cutting factors on tool flank wear (Fw), followed by their significance prediction on the desired output through analysis of variance (ANOVA) and prediction of mathematical model through regression analysis. Fw was optimized following signal to noise (S-N) ratio concept of Taguchi, and finally some confirmatory experiments were executed. Results revealed augmentation of Fw on enhancing spindle speed (N) and feed (f), but it reduced slightly on incrementing the cutting depth (d). N was the highest significant factor for Fw, taken after by f, whereas d was non-significant. The predicted model was significant, and possessed high determination coefficient. Optimization results revealed that the factorial combination N = 250 rpm, f = 0.05 mm.rev−1 and d = 0.2 mm was optimal for Fw, which was further validated through confirmatory experiments, resulting an improvement of S-N ratio by 7.1446 dB. Over the past few years, India's urban built environment has been expanding rapidly to accommodate the increasing urban population and to meet the rising aspirations of upscaling standards of living. In addition to new projects, redevelopment works are also prominent amongst the construction activities being undertaken all across our urban areas. The large-scale construction and demolition waste (C&D waste) is generated inadvertently from on-going construction activities with no major sustainable interventions or practices in place ever since. The state of art overview of C&D waste management practices and related legislation in India and select countries abroad provides sufficient opportunity for introducing and promoting circular economy (CE) in C&D waste management. This can be done through direct reuse or by recycling/ repair /refurbishment in different stages of construction projects. Reports on key infrastructure projects suggest project delays and cost over-run due to shortage of fresh stocks of primary construction materials. Promoting design of products or components remanufactured using dismantled or recycled C&D waste would no longer let the C&D waste remain as a threat to sustainable environment. Instead, the industry would get geared up to produce high-quality secondary raw materials that can be fed back into production processes. This will not just reduce the reliance on primary resources for construction materials like stone, sand, etc. but also promote the new business models which will focus on waste prevention and 'turning waste into resources' by effectively and efficiently utilizing C&D waste in a sustainable manner. This will embed circular economy in the system and also make the process more sustainable. Present models for sustainability assessment are primarily based on statistical records of C&D waste quantities and they rarely include all three aspects of sustainability (economic, environmental and social). This paper proposes a conceptual model of efficient C&D waste management strategies considering all the three aspects of sustainability. A conceptual model has been developed using the barriers and motivating factors obtained from literature review for implementation of effective C&D waste management for circular economy. Using existing knowledge of the components of C&D waste management system and the positive or negative relationships between them the proposed conceptual model focuses on strategies, institutional arrangement and economic circularity for managing the C&D waste. The paper highlights the need for an institutional framework and suitable strategies for efficient handling of C&D Waste. Photographic lens is an invention to duplicate human eye functions and operations. Starting with seeing and focusing the object, the lens then transmits lights containing information of the scene such as colours, brightness and shapes to the digital sensor or photographic film. The response variable on walking frequency requires special consideration when it has a large number of zeros arising from two underlying processes. The excess zeros exhibit variability that exceeds the hypothesized structure in the widely used Poisson regression model (PRM). The PRM model places a constraint on modelling for the zero-outcome probability and the extra proportion of observations in the zero class. The zero-inflated Poisson (ZIP) model considers two separate data generation processes for non-Poisson and Poisson zero outcomes, and therefore the model's predictive ability is increased. Although the process by which these zeros arise may not be a key focus of the analysis, the selection of a model for this process may have consequences for theoretical and empirical refinement. In this paper, we have developed ZIP regression to model the excess zeros in walk trip frequency analysis. The ZIP regression is examined with PRM. Our study findings suggest that ZIP should be used in modelling walk trip frequency given that the data-generating mechanism for zeros and positives reflects two different decision-making processes. We applied a special test for non-nested models proposed by Vuong to see the advantage of ZIP over PRM. Using the 2010 Greater Mumbai region activity-travel diary survey, the paper estimates Zero-inflated Poisson models at the individual level for the frequency of walking trips for home-based commute and non-commute purposes during a single travel day. The analysis indicates that pedestrian socio-demographic characteristics and built environment attributes affect work and non-work walking behaviour. The resulting pedestrian travel behaviour models are appropriate for the assessment of public health and sustainability policy analysis and planning. This research makes an application of information and computational support for planning a special category of disbursement, which takes place in animal husbandry management. The safety planning of expenditures during the farm management is a prerequisite for sustainable production and exploitation of the husbandry resources. A special case of disbursements is considered, related to the different categories of insurances. The probabilistic characters both the number of insurance and the level of the insurance complicate the predictions and evaluation of the safe level of resources, which have to be allocated in the husbandry management. The applied conditional approximation approach is used to evaluate the mean values and standard deviation of the resources, which have to be planned for covering insurances when their characteristic for level and number are stochastic and with probabilistic character. And to cope with this situation, bamboo is used as a substitute for steel reinforcement in the manhole cover. Also, the possibility of being stolen is increasing due to its good amount of scrap value and if holes will remain open due to stealing of covers there will be a chance of an accident. This research paper is focused on replacing the steel reinforcement with bamboo which is naturally available, highly renewable, and strong in both tensions as well as compression. With the help of different methods of surface treatments used by various researchers, a good amount of efficiency of bamboo can be achieved for the many construction sectors by getting adequate bond strength as close to steel reinforcement. The steel reinforcement cost is 3 times the cost of bamboo reinforcement that also includes its treatment cost. The overall cost of bamboo reinforced manhole cover is approximately 36% less than steel reinforced concrete manhole [1]There will be a good impact of this newly developed product on cost and environmental aspects. Forest and land degradation that occurs throughout Indonesia makes it increasingly vulnerable to the effects of global warming. Illegal logging, forest and land conversion, agricultural crop development, and expansion of settlements are factors influencing forest and land degradation. The agroforestry system has been promoted as one of sustainable land use management that implements local wisdom and community-based practices, which is expected to improve environmental conditions. This paper aims to investigate the role of the agroforestry system of Michelia champaca in South Sumatra in combating global warming as well as protecting natural resources and providing livelihood options for the community. Observation methods and interviews to the stakeholders were carried out to obtain data. Moreover, descriptive qualitative research analysis was used as a data analysis tool. The research results showed that the development of Michelia champaca on private land with an agroforestry system is expected to meet the increasing demand for community's timber. Several people initially did not realize the importance of an agroforestry system in reducing the impact of climate change. The community cultivate Michelia champaca because it has straight stemmed with a narrow canopy so that by implementing spacing arrangements, the growth of these woody plant does not interfere with their agricultural crops. Some people understand that the combination of agricultural and forestry crops will provide both short and long-term income, maintain the availability of groundwater, produce fresher air, and reduce hot temperatures in the dry season. Michelia champaca agroforestry practices are more attractive than forest land management systems for communities because they contribute to the sustainability of food production while providing a number of ecosystem services, including reducing the impact of global warming. The concepts of Sustainability and Sustainable Development are increasingly becoming part of the common discourse in society. The need for mobility of people and goods, among other factors, is an inherent part of economic growth and development of society. There exists the need to balance the economic requirements of mobility, with the environmental demands of sustainability. This review paper examines the existing literature on sustainability, in the context of its three pillars, across different journals and industry reports. Further, this study performed a bibliometric analysis on the concept of sustainable mobility and the emerging role of EVs. Methodology. Systematic literature review was conducted by sourcing research articles from peer-reviewed journals and industry reports. NVIVO software was used to identify, analyze and shortlist relevant articles. The selected articles were classified under two different themes for further review. Findings. The findings of this review highlight the difference in interpretations of sustainability and sustainable mobility among existing theoretical and empirical studies, and the need to have common approaches, theories and measurements. The adoption of sustainable behavior and sustainable mobility is a result of personal behavior, moderated by policy influences. Balancing the needs of economic growth with environmental and social sustainability creates tensions between these pillars. Innovation and emerging technological initiatives like Circular Economy for recycling and repurposing EVs, will help mitigate the challenges faced in sustainable mobility initiatives. Implications. Conscious sustainable behavior is the need of the hour, and the desired way forward for society. Peer pressure to adopt sustainable mobility practices, along with user convenience will result in sustainable intention and behavior. Over the years, the cumulative environmental impact from human activity has disrupted the stability of the natural world, warming the planet above pre-industrial levels. Whilst unprecedented in many ways, reducing industrial emissions from greenhouse gases could help stabilise rising temperatures. Thus, the exploration for more sustainable manufacturing solutions that reduce carbon emissions is imperative. However, some traditional manufacturing (TM) processes, such as sand casting, which, despite its versatility to produce products in many shapes and sizes from almost any metal or alloy, are typically energy-intensive activities. Conversely, metal additive manufacturing (MAM) enables users to manufacture more complex, lighter and near net shapes with the ability to consolidate manufacturing workflows. Consequently, MAM has been reported to be an energy-efficient alternative. Yet, evidence in the literature on the environmental impact of some MAM processes is limited, especially for material extrusion (ME) additive manufacturing (AM) methods such as the atomic diffusion additive manufacturing (ADAM) process. Thus, this paper explores the feasibility of performing a life cycle assessment (LCA) for the ADAM process compared to sand casting. Preliminary results indicate that the ADAM process demands 71.04 kWh/kg and 16.57 CO2 equivalent (CO2−eq) more for manufacturing 1kg of 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel (17-4 PH SS) compared to sand casting. Thus, the findings collected from this pilot study justify future research efforts to converge on developing a novel model for performing a comprehensive cradle to grave LCA for ADAM to compare against sand casting and other TM processes such as CNC milling and investment casting. This paper illustrates the development of a system dynamics model to predict the sustainability of small medium enterprises (SMEs) before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic did impact the country's economy, especially on SMEs on both the supply and demand perspectives. SMEs struggled to maintain their business operation during this pandemic era. To survive in the new norm, SMEs must be adaptable and innovative. Thus, this study utilizes system dynamics modelling to analyze the sustainability of SMEs' business activity in Malaysia. The causal loop diagram (CLD) is developed to represent the dynamic hypothesis of the system behavior. Next the CLD is transformed to a stock and flow diagram (SFD) with model equations to simulate the system behavior. Later, few interventions are conducted to improve the sustainability of SMEs. The research finding shows that by utilizing online business platform, and financial aid provided by the government will improve the sustainability of SMEs in Malaysia. Sustainability assessment is an important stage in the implementation of sustainable development for the industry. This paper proposed a framework for an adaptive sustainability assessment for the industry in achieving industry 4.0 goals through a systematic literature review. This study analysed related papers to sustainability assessment in Scopus database using descriptive statistics and a Scientometric approach. A VOS-Viewer software was applied to find related keywords and gaps to develop an adaptive sustainability assessment model for the industry. The result showed that there were 13,099 papers related to sustainability assessment which were published in Scopus database since 1980. The keywords networks and gap analysis using VOS-Viewer indicated that artificial intelligence and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) offered a great potential framework for sustainability assessment. This study designed a comprehensive framework organized by sustainability indicators analysis, artificial intelligence modelling for the assessment, and GIS for the sustainability performance dashboard. Sustainability has been a significant concern in development and construction upon the rising environmental issues around the globe. As such, efforts have been made to come up with sustainable construction via the invention of sustainable housing. The sustainable concept is extended to housing as demand for sustainability development for energy saving. However, high prices of houses have been denoted as an issue in the housing industry. As conventional development is already associated with high costs and high prices, houses with sustainable features are offered and sold at even higher prices. This worsens affordability, which is already a problem in Malaysia. This paper explores sustainable affordable housing via a combination review of issues and challenges. This investigation sets to accomplish two objectives. Firstly, it includes studying issues concerning sustainable affordable housing. The second objective covers a detailed identifying the challenges of implementing sustainable affordable housing and gaps of this area of study around the globe. This paper structurally investigates the literature from valid databases and eminent journals from 2004 to 2018 in matters related to issues and challenges sustainable affordable housing. As very limited work has been carried out in the areas of issues and challenges of implementing sustainable affordable housing, this paper fills this knowledge gap in the context of a structured review. Then reviewing, an important initial step is to review the approaches utilized in prior urban form studies. After undertaking a review of related literature, we provide a solid theoretical framework for the practical side. This research is concerned with proving the relationship between social sustainability and urban form and its impact on type of housing and density. Rather than depending on total density increases to produce sustainable outcomes, future metropolitan planning policies should provide a more specific understanding of the influence that diverse urban structure and form types might have from a sustainable behavior standpoint. The problem with this paper is that yet there is a lack of research and frameworks that can be applied successfully at a local level (city of Hilla). The purpose of this paper is to forward a novel conceptual framework linking access of financial or sources of funding and the sustainability of social enterprises. This is a conceptual study that examined the existing literature to propose a new framework for sustainable organizations focusing on the Malaysian perspective. Employing the lens of Resource Dependency Theory, this study explored the sources of funding and its dimensions as a facilitator for sustainable performance among social enterprises. In this paper, the researcher analyzes the architecture of cultural heritage temples with a common thread with Chinese culture. The paper's objective was to explore the element of this heritage and historic temple building in the eighteenth century that stands a sustainability architecture for decades, including the interior layout based on Chinese character and the temple's architectural ornament. In order to preserve this temple so that it remains unique, renovations were carried out while adhering to the original architectural form of the Chinese character. This paper was to show the society about the architecture of the temple that had been preserved from time to time according to its original form that supports the character of Chinese culture in Jakarta. This research used observation and literature study to support pictures and data from the temple. Literature related to Chinese architecture had been reviewed to provide sufficient data for discussion about the elements of this Chinese temple. This paper shows that the temple still maintains the character of Chinese architecture form as when it was first founded and considered a form of preservation of the historic building. Existing concepts of housing are currently being re-evaluated, often prompted by unfavourable projections on population ageing, issues related to the sustainability of social systems, or challenges related to respect for human rights, which are a frequent impetus for housing research. When considering the design of housing for different users, we have to take into account different life situations, e.g. changes in family life, changes in housing users, but also ageing users or deteriorating health conditions. Housing must also be prepared for the provision of care services or personal assistance. Adaptable forms of housing that take into account the needs of different users are expected to be of undisputed benefit to all. This paper discloses a method for exploring new adaptive housing concepts to enable necessary changes in buildings for housing without difficult structural modifications. In particular, the research is oriented towards tracking changes in family life and the possible need for social services in the home environment. In order to ensure as much independence as possible for older adults or users with a disability, the emphasis in the design of new housing concepts is on adhering to universal design principles, on integrating artificial intelligence technology solutions, or on tightening security features. The adaptability of buildings for housing is also a suitable approach in terms of sustainable architecture, as it saves resources, construction waste and emissions, thereby reducing the environmental impact of the construction industry. The research is carried out in accordance with the current process of transformation of the social services system in Slovakia and in this context it was necessary to focus the research both on the state of the existing housing stock, whether it is ready to provide care in the home environment, as well as on new models of housing that would be able to take into account the individual needs of service users related to disability, illness or ageing. The basis for research were the results of a number of surveys carried out in social service buildings across Slovakia, such as a survey of the capabilities of social service users, an assessment of the risks and shortcomings of existing social service buildings, and a survey of the desires and wishes of recipients of year-round residential services about their own housing. Namely deinstitutionalisation envisages the return of users of large-scale residential facilities to their home environment or their relocation to new housing, so-called 'small group houses'. The final part of the article summarises the results of the research, which have shown that the diversity of service users requires specific approaches in the design of new housing concepts. The transformations that have taken place in the social and productive structures of economically advanced countries are to be correlated to a new structure of urban networks and territorial relations, from which it results that a vast series of activities and functions are to be considered no longer subject to localization constraints and thresholds dimensional. From this emerges a wider territorial participation in the development process, which ends up affecting the regional articulation, giving rise to the formation of reticular spatial structures [1]. It comes out the idea of sustainable mobility was than born, which was based on giving a greater role to public transport, pedestrian and bicycle movements, which are much more efficient, thanks to which you can in turn reduce time waste, pollutant emissions and increase safety at urban areas without limiting mobility. In light of these aspects, in this paper we highlight, in parallel, what has been achieved with a view to sustainability in two realities: Brindisi, a city in southern Italy, and Cracow, a Polish city. They are two realities that highlight what has been done and what are the indications coming from the stakeholders. In order to develop a sustainable architectural environment, we must first of all research and learn how sustainability can be reached in a specific context and following a specific topic. Thus, architectural education has a vital role in preparing future generation to address such issues and to advance them. Architectural education must not only be creative, but also innovative and at the forefront of contemporary approaches in order to prepare future generations for demands that are just beginning to shape or to anticipate future needs. Sustainability is a subject under continuous consideration and as it becomes a requirement in the real world, so it should, in this context, be addressed in every project even during university studies. However, it should not become a checklist as it frequently is – introducing sustainable aspect into a project in order to gather enough points. As the educational context allows less conformist approaches through projects that can be creative, imaginative in a way that sometimes puts aside present-day technical capabilities, regulations, finances (being even utopian), it also opens sustainability to exploration. In such approaches lays innovation and one can only open students' mind, teach them how to raise the right questions, encourage them to look for less expected answers and solutions, not show them how to "do" innovation. Every project is a challenge for an architectural student, as they learn to design spaces while answering to a more or less detailed brief. However, those spaces must not be just that – students must build their way through sets of research and design questions, searching for an architectural solution that meets various criteria in various proportions (given the conceptual vs. buildable today request for example). Sustainability, through its components – economic, environmental, social – should be implemented by fully understanding its extent and taken into consideration when appropriate during the endeavour through the research questions. What we are proposing in this article is a sampling of a train of thought in an architectural educational context, taking as reference points given sites and the specific questions they raise. The paper wishes to both show the depth research should reach in the final years of architectural studies and the possibility of taking into consideration sustainable elements. In architecture education worldwide, there is an old but perpetual debate on how to integrate practical learning in the academic program. In recent times, introduction of problem-based and project-based learning (PBL) has been highly praised approach because it empowers the students to deal with real-life problems. Like many other higher education institutions which strive to improve their curricula, the Faculty of Architecture University of Sarajevo examines various modalities of integration of practice into formal education. The curriculum has evolved from a predominantly theoretical framework and working with abstract assignments to recognizing and adequately responding to up-to-date topics and real social problems. However, there is a noticeable institutional inertia that impedes the timely response of the academic community to urgent challenges and changes in society. In an effort to eliminate the identified shortcomings and improve the education process, the Faculty of Architecture University of Sarajevo, has undertaken a number of activities in cooperation with partner institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU, resulting with critical assessment of the status quo and developing guidelines for future actions. Following the implementation of the international research project "HERD" 2013-2016, energy efficiency and sustainability topics have been incorporated in several courses. As a result of the capacity building of the teaching staff and their continuous training, the project "Typology of residential buildings in BiH" was successfully implemented. The long-term outcomes of this project are of national relevance, as it assists the government in creating strategies for implementing energy efficiency in the housing sector, while the research results can be easily utilized both by the individuals and society as a whole. Examples of cooperation with the industry also serve as an illustration of possible ways to improve the quality of education and raise the competencies of the students. The aim of this paper is to present the importance and modalities of incorporating the practical component into the process of architecture education and actualization of global topics in the local context. It is also necessary to point out the shortcomings in the existing academic procedures on different levels, and the need of valorisation of extracurricular activities. The previously gained experience and examples of good practice should support all stakeholders involved in the educational process: from academia, the industry and the professionals, to the wider community. The long-term outcomes of this project are of national relevance, as it assists the government in creating strategies for implementing energy efficiency in the housing sector, while the research results can be easily utilized both by the individuals and society as a whole. Examples of cooperation with the industry also serve as an illustration of possible ways to improve the quality of education and raise the competencies of the students. The aim of this paper is to present the importance and modalities of incorporating the practical component into the process of architecture education and actualization of global topics in the local context. It is also necessary to point out the shortcomings in the existing academic procedures on different levels, and the need of valorisation of extracurricular activities. The previously gained experience and examples of good practice should support all stakeholders involved in the educational process: from academia, the industry and the professionals, to the wider community. This paper reports an innovative approach in secondary schools in Jakarta that employed ethical dilemma story pedagogy (EDSP) in an integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) project designed to engage chemistry students in ethical values learning. The study investigated how students explored their own values by attempting to resolve ethical dilemmas about environmental problems in an Indonesia context. Ethical dilemmas comprised everyday socio-scientific issues related to chemistry concepts in the high school curriculum, including pros and cons of using artificial fertilizers and disposal of used cooking oil. This qualitative research was conducted in the chemistry classes of two high school teachers. The research employed multiple data collection methods of semi-structured interviews, reflective journals, and classroom observations. The results illustrate students' successful engagement in chemistry learning, critical thinking skills, chemical literacy, ethical values, awareness of environmental problems, and envisioning of education for sustainability. The results also illustrate (i) students' enhanced awareness of their values and their agency in practicing environmental sustainability and (ii) teachers' realization that they can empower students in education for sustainability through ethical dilemma story pedagogy. The study is significant in revealing that education can play an important role in empowering the young generation in education for sustainability through an ethical values approach to their learning. The paper also addresses challenges faced by the researchers in designing chemistry-based ethical dilemma stories, integrating them into a STEAM project, empowering students, and managing time resources. Every construction project should be designed to improve the economy, environment, and social dimensions of construction. Unfortunately, most of the previous studies have focused on the dimensions of economy and environment, neglecting the social dimension. The reason might stem from the lack of uniformity in understanding the concept of social sustainability, as well as the difficulty in assessing the attributes due to it being more subjective, as compared to the more quantitative nature of the environment and economic dimensions. Hence, in this paper, a literature review of social sustainability in construction is reported to unpack the definition and attributes of social sustainability, subsequently mapping the social sustainability attributes to the common sustainability practices/assessment tools in construction. Based on the thematic analysis, this review has established nine (9) attributes, namely: 1) health and safety; 2) impact assessment; 3) employment; 4) stakeholder involvement; 5) satisfaction and well-being; 6) education and training; 7) social procurement; 8) protection design/belonging; and 9) human right. The attributes then mapped into the definition of social sustainability provided by the scholars to assist the overall picture of the concept of social sustainability, and the result shows the component of Education/training and Social Procurement not embedded in the definition. The attributes also mapped to the current sustainable assessment tools, and there have limited inclusion of the social dimension. This paper serves as a guide for stakeholders in highlighting the selection of social sustainability attributes for construction projects and as evidence that there are a limited number of social sustainability assessment tools available in evaluating the social performance of construction projects. The paper investigates how Thai micro-enterprises give significance to energy, as part of the sustainability indicators. The questionnaire is constructed based on the sustainability focus, constructed on 3 dimensions, 6 sub-dimensions, and 23 indicators, by which energy is a sub-dimension of interest. The questionnaire is sent to 100 Thai micro-enterprises and 49 are returned. The paper then investigates (1) the significance level of the sustainability indicators and (2) the correlation of the sustainability sub-dimensions. The results show that energy is one of the least concerning areas of Thai micro-enterprises. Substitution of renewable energy and shift to fewer energy products and technologies are amongst the least significant topics out of 23 sustainability indicators. Energy also has a direct correlation with raw material & natural resources and human resource management. The result is thus suggestive to the policymakers if there are measures to leverage the energy, sustainability, or to any specific dimensions of this enterprise sector. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The practice of regulatory culture in a nuclear energy regulatory agency (BAPETEN) is very important to keep up its competence, effectiveness, and credibility. In the 2018-2020 periods, BAPETEN cooperates with the Faculty of Psychology of Gadjah Mada University conducted a study to develop a regulatory culture for BAPETEN, including relevant organizational values and the needed Regulatory Culture Index. The study extensively performed desk studies, interviews, and surveys to wider groups of staff and stakeholders. The results of this study, both as bottom-up and top- bottom processes, recommend organizational values, namely AMPUH, as a reflection of regulatory culture. AMPUH was then formally adopted in the 2020 to 2024 BAPETEN Strategic Plan. However, the Strategic Plan does not explicitly mention the regulatory culture and the regulatory culture index. On the other side, the organizational values of BAPETEN never have been in line with the code of ethics. Thus, the sustainability of regulatory culture is at risk. Therefore, the problem identified in this paper was: How to develop and integrate BAPETEN's Regulatory Culture and the Code of Ethics policies? The method used in this paper was a combination between analytic, descriptive, and quantitative approaches with primary data from surveys and interviews and secondary data from reliable references. This paper concludes that strong support from BAPETEN top management and engagement of all the staff, including the agents of change, is inevitably required in order to ensure the sustainability of regulatory culture in BAPETEN through a coherent integration between the policy of regulatory culture and the policy of code of ethics and code of conducts.
