The purpose of the research is to detect defects in textile industry using computer vision and fuzzy logic techniques. The paper presents various practices used for edge detection, including a fuzzy logic applied. By testing, a fuzzy logic method has been chosen to obtain a respectable result. The algorithm that is observed in the paper is improved by dividing the processing into two phases: a fast one, which allows us to assume that there is a defect, and a searching one, which allows a defect to be highlighted in color. The advanced algorithm was tested on several types of fabrics. An average background arrangement is obtained for them. That allows separating fabric texture and color from potential defects. The tests were also performed on fabrics (cloths) with different brightness, number and type of defects. We obtained the percentage ratios of the defect detection quality and so we suggested the ways to develop the system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this study is to determine the importance of increasing the entrepreneurial mindset and skill of the student by implementing project based learning done by the Computer and Network Engineering study program at vocational high school (SMK) Gelora Jaya Nusantara Medan. This project has increased in the entrepreneurial spirit among the students as well bring additional income for school. The project was setting up and launching the computer service that open for public and fully managed by the students under supervision from the teachers as well as monitored by the partner industry. This research used qualitative approach with applied research and observation during the full period of the project implementation. Where this research was made on the basis of developing a real business by increasing the entrepreneurial and was using digital marketing as promotional tool. Situational analysis was conducted prior the project implementation to identify the internal factors as well as external factors. The findings showed that the implementation of the project-based learning for vocational high school is feasible with the ability of the school to conduct the process from preparation, setting up the technical aspect, carefully design the program and launching of the business and getting the benefit by applying digital marketing as enabler for customer awareness and attractiveness. The findings also revealed factors of challenge and factors of drivers, such as the limited of the hard ware available in the market and the favorable demand from the customer. Although the concept of ransomware is not new, this type of malware has recently experienced is still popular and is a big threat. It affects not only home computers but business computers, too. Ransomware is a type of malware that block a user's access to a workstation or data. The ransomware can lock the system in a way that even an experienced professional cannot restore. It encrypts data in such a way that there are various ways to decrypt it and every of them require serious knowledge and skills. A person has to pay ransom to decrypt his data or to get back access to his system. This paper gives a way of installing and configuring a private cloud which is an approach for protection against data loss after infection with ransomware. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
