The blended learning (BL) services presented for the academic accreditation process of universities and other educational institutions is a policy that has been used rapidly in the educational area. This process represents a real challenge and a need for institutions to function by the challenges in the ways of development for the attainment of faculty and student satisfaction. The need for learning management systems (LMS) becomes a real advance to control the management of technological development. The purpose of this study is to overcome these challenges and speed up the whole e-learning process in a different manner. The study revealed the existence of an important gap between the important features of blended learning applications and the control management of LMS. The finding shows a systematic analysis of existing technologies and their effects on accreditation checkpoints approval for the underlying conception of the assessment processes involve perspectives that relate to what is now considered valuable or desirable concerning the institution of higher education. This paper reviews the complex task problems which are out of reach for a simple machine. So, there is a need for a solution for such a problem, so the solution is Reinforcement Learning with deep Q-Network. Reinforcement learning techniques are now being researched for their applicability in a wide range of situations. Perhaps because of the rising complexity and unpredictability in the generation and distribution sector of power systems, traditional approaches frequently encounter congestion while attempting to handle decision and control issues that are out of reach for a basic machine. Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) is one of these data-driven approaches that is considered true Artificial Intelligence (AI). DRL is a hybrid of Deep Learning (DL) and Reinforcement Learning (RL). Our study examines the fundamental concepts, models, methods, and approaches of DRL. It also presents power system applications such as smart grids, energy management, demand response, the electricity market, operational control, and many others. This paper describes the development of a blended-based sustainable training model. The blended learning model is used to overcome participants' limited time constraints in ongoing training to increase the competency of tourism village community empowerment facilitators. The research method used is development research. The research subjects were community empowerment facilitators in tourist villages, DKI Jakarta, and West Java. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and literature review. Data analysis in this research was carried out using qualitative descriptions. The study results show that conceptually implementing a blended learning-based continuous training model increases facilitators' competence in empowering the Tourism Village community through the stages of input, process, and output analysis. In the input component, the training manager maps the competency of the facilitator's objective conditions; the training process component uses an andragogy approach where participants have self-concept practical experience and can overcome the problems they face; and the output component produces tourism village facilitators who master three competency elements, namely basic, core and special. This study looked at the effectiveness of blended learning in a South Korean university's nursing department during the length of a semester, from September to December 2019, before the pandemic lockdown. Evaluations of blended learning efficacy are closely tied to both nursing educators and learners. The goal of this paper is to look at ongoing English-medium education at a nursing department at a Korean university that uses a blended learning model. The current study examines the learning experiences of 41 Korean Freshmen and Sophomores, assessing their development and acceptance of blended learning, as well as the efficacy of this pedagogical tool in improving nursing undergraduates' learning outcomes. Our primary approaches are interviews and surveys. We believe that the blended learning technique may equip Korean students with more effective learning opportunities in terms of critical thinking and problem solving. The literature review found that only a few studies in Indonesia have been applied to modeling peatlands fire occurrences. In our previous studies, various machine learning classification approaches are applied to predict forest fire occurrence in the peatlands area. Our previous empirical study found that the datasets of fire hotspot areas, especially for data from the South Kalimantan area, need to be more balanced. In this paper, we consider ADAptive SYNthetic (ADASYN) method for the sampling approach to balance the datasets. Online education's popularity has been continuously increasing over the past few years. Many universities were forced to switch to online education as a result of COVID-19. In many cases, even after more than two years of online instruction, colleges were unable to resume their traditional classroom programs. A growing number of institutions are considering blended learning with some parts in-person and the rest of the learning taking place online. Nevertheless, many online education systems are inefficient, and this results in a poor rate of student retention. In this paper, we are offering a primary dataset, the initial implementation of a virtual teaching assistant named VTA-bot, and its system architecture. Our primary implementation of the suggested system consists of a chatbot that can be queried about the content and topics of the fundamental python programming language course. This paper compares the performances of four rank-based weighting assessment techniques, Rank Sum (RS), Rank Reciprocal (RR), Rank Exponent (RE), and Rank Order Centroid (ROC) on five identified e-learning criteria to select the best weights method. A total of 35 experts in a public university in Malaysia were asked to rank the criteria and to evaluate five e-learning approaches which include blended learning, flipped classroom, ICT supported face to face learning, synchronous learning, and asynchronous learning. The best ranked criteria weights are defined as weights that have the least total absolute differences with the geometric mean of all weights, were then used to select the most suitable e-learning approach by using TOPSIS method. The results show that RR weights are the best, while flipped classroom approach implementation is the most suitable approach. Wind speed prediction plays a very important role in the trading plan and reliable operation of power system. According to the formation mechanism and influencing factors of the wind, this paper presents a method to predict the wind speed by using adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). ANFIS uses the hybrid learning algorithm to get the parameters of the front part and the conclusion of the training network, then inputs the selected wind speed samples into the trained adaptive fuzzy neural network, and finally forecasts the wind speed. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is designed to universalise education, bringing many benefits. However, one of the weaknesses of MOOC is that it lacks human touch as learners mainly interact with the content instead. Various research has been done where MOOC is incorporated into a blended learning strategy (bMOOC). However, there is a lack of research in determining the effectiveness of each MOOC component in a blended learning course. Hence, this study looks into the effectiveness of bMOOC design and how the bMOOC components help learners understand the course better. The paper defines bMOOC, its types, models and bMOOC components. The course Legal Studies in Construction (CMA443) was selected. A survey of Construction Management students who had undergone the bMOOC was done to determine the effectiveness of the bMOOC in helping them master the subject. The result indicates a positive effect of bMOOC among the learners. It is found that the MOOC design complies with the Blended Learning requirements. Blended learning combines face-to-face and online learning, this innovation gives students the opportunity for various levels of interactive learning so that it is far more varied and effective. Mixed learning approaches for environmental chemistry courses are presented. This paper tries to see how the patterns of students in implementing learning in blended learning, try to find out what kind of learning media they like and how they access it. There are twenty-nine students who participate in environmental chemistry courses. Mapping patterns using a qualitative approach. Traditional lectures were replaced by online learning packages, which were supported by formative on-line assessments and presented various learning content activities including, videos, e-books, sharing, and animation media to facilitate the learning process. This study collects participant behavior during a mixed learning course. in addition this article tries to identify interactions between the duration when participants enter the class, access content and final results. A significant pattern was found between the amount of content access and the results of the final test, where participants with low access did not have better results than participants who had high access. Media with too much text such as leaflets are not liked by participants, media with animations and illustrations such as animated videos are very popular and have high access. The paper describes an instance of applying the blended learning format in experimental teaching conducted at St.Petersburg State Marine Technical university (Russia). The course was designed for teaching professional English to Master's degree students of engineering and was intended to solve the problem of students' self-study hours far exceeding the number of classroom hours which was rather limited. This paper report was part of a bigger project that aimed to develop the ethno mathematics module using blended learning for students of mathematic educational program in IAIN Batusangkar. The research question of this article is do the researcher needs to developing ethnomathematics module using the blended learning model. Pandemic leads teachers at all levels of schools to seek and use methods that can help make long-term distance learning more attractive and more effective. One of the methods that can be used well in the conditions of online teaching is the Peer Instruction method. Most of the online communication platforms through which the teaching is conducted provide the appropriate tools for this. It includes, for example, the possibility of voting, which is an integral part of this method, as well as the creation of breakout rooms where students can communicate in separate groups. Research indicated that the major practices of engineers rely on mathematical thinking skills. Mathematical thinking and learning in engineering education must address the rapidly changing technological innovations and the associated expectations in terms of the quality of learning experiences. A systematic literature review was conducted to evaluate the latest developments on the topic of applying TPACK in blended learning models. Some results indicate that teachers must develop the TPACK needed for successful integration of Education technology. Currently, in the world of Education, ESP is particularly significant at the lecture level. Since 2010, this English ESP can be taught utilizing a blended learning format. The blended learning model is a student-centered combination of face-to-face and online learning that can boost the frequency and content of civil engineering English courses. In the conditions of active intercultural communication and mutual exchange programs, obtaining a specialty with the possibility of working in any country requires graduates of higher educational institutions of all specialties to have strong foreign language skills. This implies that the graduate should be able to carry out business communication in oral and written forms in the state and foreign languages, but due to the reduction of academic hours, this task is extremely difficult. As a result of these changes, additional electronic resources, platforms and applications that allow students have regular practice in a foreign language become an integral part of the educational process. At the same time, the active use of additional applications helps to increase the motivation and personal interest of students, allowing them to create their own autonomous environment. Teaching and learning have shifted from synchronous meetings in the classroom and laboratory to virtual synchronous and asynchronous meetings. Teaching and learning can take place anytime and anywhere. The availability of ICT infrastructure is one of the supporting factors for teaching and learning in today's Education 4.0. This article describes the availability of ICT facilities to support blended learning. Accidental sampling was conducted on 56 lecturers of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), who participated in a webinar and filled out polls. The polls revealed that nearly 72% of respondents had subscribed to Internet Service Providers and cellular data packages. Total respondents who own laptops or PCs with Intel Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 processor specifications were only 23%, yet a mere 4% still own lower processors specifications. Cloud-based software provided by UNY, such as Microsoft 365, was only used by 46% of respondents. The availability of facilities to support virtual synchronous meetings included headset 96%, Zoom educational license 86%, and interactive application 18%. In contrast, facilities to support asynchronous meetings were owned only by less than 60% of respondents, including condenser or clip-on microphone types, graphic pads, video editing software, screen recording software, and project management software. Facilities to support collaborative asynchronous activities such as Google Workspace were applied by 66% of respondents. Teachers who are creative, tough, innovative and problem solvers who can demonstrate professional abilities and skills in dealing with rapid changes, making high-risk choices and quick reactions. In addition to studying certain subjects and field-based competencies, teachers need to develop high social skills. The ability to assist students in dealing with these conditions is very important as a professional act in their workplace. Professional educators must contribute to an unstable and turbulent world. Therefore, teachers should be directed at increasing their own competence through training activities. This can be achieved by increasing learning competencies through integrated training. Such training is usually cross-border and embedded in structured authentic tasks. The purpose of this study is to develop a set of training designs using a web-mobile learning-based hybrid learning strategy to strengthen the pedagogic, professional and social competencies of teachers to lead teachers to become lifelong learners. The research approach is development research. The development of new designed learning designs at the design and development stages. In this hybrid learning design, it combines distance learning with face-to-face learning equipped with an evaluation for each competency that must be achieved by the teacher. An important study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness, as well as the impact of various approaches used in developing numeracy literacy from elementary school to university. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a systematic review of numeracy literacy. This review synthesizes findings from existing research of various approaches used to investigate numeracy literacy between 2017-2021. Obtained 12 titles from the results of quantitative and qualitative research. The research method chosen in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. The results of the research on the causes of the low numeracy literacy of students, how to grow students' numeracy literacy skills, and the difficulties experienced by students in solving problems in terms of numeracy literacy skills. Suggestions from the results of this systematic literature review are to recommend ways so that students are able to convey information well, and numerical literacy skills need to be given a stimulus to encourage students' curiosity. The highest effect size is 0.42 in the medium category, this result is obtained from research with the theme of increasing school literacy and numeracy literacy through blended learning models, the use of blended learning models has a more effective effect on numeracy literacy skills. This study aims to analyze the geometric thinking level of pre-service mathematics teachers who take blended learning with two different treatments, namely blended learning with online asynchronous discussion method and blended learning with online synchronization discussion method. This study also aims to analyze whether there is a difference in the effect of the two treatments on students' geometric thinking levels. This is quantitative research conducted with 55 participants. The instrument used in this study was the Van Hiele Geometry Test (VHGT) which consisted of 25 multiple-choice questions. The collected data were then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test with a significance level of 5%. The results show that there is no difference in geometric thinking between students who take through blended learning with asynchronous online discussion methods and synchronous online discussion methods. However, students who took blended learning with the synchronous online discussion method were able to achieve better geometric thinking levels than students who took the asynchronous online discussion method. The COVID-19 pandemic is a situation that changes all the challenges of society, including in education. In response to this, one way out is the application of blended learning in the lecture process. Innovative preparation of blended learning-based teaching materials makes the material for students in the blended learning process. Meanwhile, this research aims to analyze the expert feasibility test, practicality, and effectiveness in blended learning-based differential calculus textbooks. The method used is research and development (RandD) using the IDI (Instructional Development Institute) development model. The research approach is in the form of quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The instruments used are questionnaires, tests and interview guidelines. The analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive in the form of percentage and qualitative description analysis. The results of this study show that (1) the feasibility test of expert validators on blended learning-based teaching materials shows very well; (2) The practicality test of blended learning-based teaching materials is said to be practical; and (3) the effectiveness of developing teaching materials based on blended learning is said to be effective from the point of view of lecturers and students who can improve learning activities, motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics education students. This research implies that the development of teaching materials is a solution to the various challenges, as professional educators should design teaching materials adapted to the global situation and the character of the students they teach in class. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability to understand concepts after the implementation of learning with the 7E learning cycle with mind mapping based on blended learning on the nervous system material. The experimental class is XI IPA 1 and the control class is XI IPA 2. The design of this research is True Experimental Design type pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument consists of a conceptual understanding test. The data of this study were collected through a multiple-choice test consisting of 15 pre-test and post-test items. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and used N-gain to determine the increase in student's conceptual understanding. The results showed that the understanding of students' concepts in learning the 7E learning cycle model with mind mapping based on blended learning was better than 5M learning with an N-gain value of 0.46 in the medium category. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused all learning in Indonesia to be carried out online. For more than a year, the learning was carried out online. Here, we present a description of online learning conducted for undergraduate students of chemistry education at the chemistry department at a public university in East Java on reaction rate lab work material. The blended learning strategy consisted of five stages: Discover, Learn, Practice, Collaborate, and Assess (DLPCA). Under the DLPCA strategy, the asynchronous part of teaching was done with video recordings shared in the learning management system (SIPEJAR) to allow students to learn at their own pace. The synchronous part of the teaching was done using a video conferencing platform in the form of Google Meet. The DLPCA strategy was presented and discussed with students before being implemented. The analysis of teaching and learning experiences based on two indicators, (i) student learning experience and (ii) student academic achievement, showed that DLPCA had a positive impact on students. The challenges identified were the stability of the internet connection and hands-on learning experiences in understanding laboratory tools. Instructors must also find ways to increase their interactions with students and maintain student interest and engagement during online classes. The study also shows that most of the learners are satisfied with the DLCPA strategy. Blended learning is learning that is done face-to-face and online. During the COVID-19 pandemic, various forms of online learning were carried out, but online learning made students ineffective in learning. This study aims to analyze the blended learning applied during the pandemic as a solution in learning mathematics. This study uses a meta-analysis, namely, reviewing the journals following the research theme and eight journals obtained from Google Scholar. Journals downloaded online from google Scholar from 2017 to 2021 become a population. At the same time, the sampling was done by a purposive technique by looking at the criteria according to the needs being studied, which has been conducted on eight journals. The results of the study were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results show that blended learning is the right choice and solution in learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic; the application of blended learning in mathematics learning during the pandemic has greatly helped teachers in delivering material to students and increasing student independence in learning, the use of blended learning during the pandemic is effective and can use as a virtual learning solution. The development of science, technology and art, especially in education sector, encourages universities to keep pace with the rate of development. STKIP Weetebula as one of the tertiary institutions in underdeveloped, outermost and frontier (3T) areas to responds the challenges of science and technology development by providing e-learning courses in curriculum changes. The aims of this study is to describe the implementation of e-learning courses in STKIP Weetebula Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) study program and its impact on the technological literacy of teacher. This research uses survey research methods with quantitative approaches. The data collection technique used is documentation study and a survey technique using the google form application. The results of the study show that the e-learning course in the PGSD study program aims to equip students in developing electronic learning using various platforms such as google meet, google classroom, zoom, youtube, blog, google form and zoho form. The data from the questionnaire shows that the e-learning courses that are studied during lectures are good provisions and very useful for teachers. During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning was carried out by blended learning that is combine face-to-face and online learning. Even though they are in 3T area, teachers can carry out online learning with the knowledge and skills they have acquired during lectures. Blended learning models have been applied in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. This trend has sparked a surge in interest in blended learning, an instructional approach that combines online learning and face-to-face learning, to create a more flexible mode of education. However, there are some factors affecting how students perceived this learning method. Some feel not suitable for the blended learning system, because they cannot understand the material presented by the lecturer and are constrained by the internet network or lack of signal access where students are located. In addition, the diversity of students' educational backgrounds such as students from senior high school or vocational school is also something that needs to be considered in blended learning. In this study, we analyzed the blended learning strategies and stage in response to the diversity of students in a private higher education in Indonesia. This study intends to recognize the features of the game-based learning techniques and assess the impact of game-based learning on 21st-century educators with their adaptive method measures that educators should consider when implementing game-based learning. The population of this study includes 13 professors who are conducting game-based learning approaches in their class and 123 college students who are also using game-based learning in their subjects. The total population of respondents is 136, and they were given survey questionnaires via Microsoft forms. The results have been proven that game-based learning has a more significant influence on retention and class interaction when this technique is used. As a result, the findings say that game-based learning aids in information acquisition and boosts student engagement through increased class interaction in the new normal of blended learning. The students' lack of engagement is improved by implementing differentiated learning. Universiti Tenaga Nasional, in its blended learning initiative, explores the possibilities to provide differentiated learning via its Moodle learning management system. The suitability of using Moodle LMS to provide differentiated learning needs to be studied. A study is done for EECB423 Data Communication and Network course to propose the process of designing learning paths via "Lesson" activity. The design of the learning paths, which is based on flowcharts, use contents in various forms such as videos, quizzes and reading tasks. The purpose of this research is to firstly find the origin of the formation of the new legal order and the processual legal paradigm used and secondly; proper legal functions are used in the formation of a new legal order for the implementation of student learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Online learning is a platform that can be used for synchronous and asynchronous modes of communication during lessons has nowadays takes place over the Internet around the world. Distance learning has become an established method used globally in education sector to ensure continuity of teaching and learning ever since the Covid-19 pandemic in the year 2020. In order for online learning to be effective, students have to blends in with the new norms and adjust accordingly including balancing their self-learning skills and behaviour, which is crucial. Thus, this quantitative study demonstrates how the sociodemographic factors and socioeconomic status of a student could influence the students' self-learning necessity and effectiveness as well as their learning habits during Covid-19. The data for this study was collected through online questionnaires distributed via an online platform to a public university community in Malaysia across different faculties, whose learning was disrupted due to the crisis. From the survey, 668 respondents have consented to join the survey. As a result, this study reported that there is a slight increase of 3.2% of students' self-learning hours before and during the COVID-19 lockdown period. Besides, the study also found that there is a weak association between the five (5) sociodemographic independent variables consist of gender, current year of study, level of study, area of residence, and total family income per month in student's self-learning necessity and student's self-learning effectiveness during COVID-19 pandemic. Online learning promotes new educational process, albeit the results of this study, it still has significantly given an impact on the student's learning habits during Covid-19 pandemic. Rock mass rating used for selection of tunnel support type is a critical issue in tunneling. The wrong choice of tunnel support could lead to rock collapse and trapping of drilling rig. This study examines a novelty for the integration of drilling speed with rock properties to predict basic Rock Mass Rating (RMR) using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). A database of 127 training and 32 testing datasets collected from NATM-3 of the tunnel was constructed. The input parameters are the Uniaxial Compressive Strength (UCS), Rock Quality Designation (RQD), Discontinuity Spacing (DS), groundwater (GW) and Drilling Speed (DSPEED), and the basic RMR as output parameter. Subtractive clustering method was used to generate the fuzzy Inference System and trained by the hybrid learning process in MATLAB R2018A software. Root mean squared error (RMSE) and Coefficient of determination (R2) were used to assess the performance of the developed model. The performance indices; R2 and RMSE of 0.892 and 2.576 respectively for the training and 0.846 and 2.316 for the testing model respectively were obtained. The results show that probe drilling speed and rock properties can be effectively integrated using ANFIS to predict basic rock mass rating in a tunnel. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Restricted Boolean 2 Satisfiability (2SAT) is a variant of discrete constraint satisfaction problem, commonly being applied with Hopfield neural network (HNN) as logic programming. In recent years, the binary Ant colony optimization has been formulated to solve various satisfaction and optimization problem due to the power onlooker bee phase in attaining the global convergence. The core motivation of this research is to propose a hybrid Hopfield neural network (HNN) incorporated ACO in enhancing the learning phase of new type of 2SAT logic programming. The developed hybrid model will be compared with the other conventional learning method in hybrid HNNs models such as genetic algorithm (GA) and exhaustive search (ES). The simulations were conducted by training and testing the developed model and the other counterparts with randomized simulated data sets.
