We present the set of ππ amplitudes below 1100 MeV consistent with all present experimental information and the requirements of crossing, unitarity and analyticity. The corresponding ππ scattering lengths lie on a universal curve and we discuss how further experiments can resolve these final ambiguities in their values. We illustrate in what sense the Roy equations cannot resolve the ‘up‐down’ ambiguity.
