Covid is an outbreak disease with symptoms from common cold until pneumonia. From Indonesia, spread of Covid has been confirmed as less then three million people infected and globally there has been confirmed as many as ninety thousand people infected. Which three percent of cases come from Indonesia itself. This research was done at the Vihara of Pubbarama Buddhist Center, Medan. To prevent the spread of virus government establish condition to wear a mask and maintains physical distancing. The method used for this research is MobileNet-SSD. Research and testing were carried by using 1000 data as training and 100 data used as testing, and 50 data additional taken and tested on direct site. After data has completely separated, the data will be given a label in supervise learning, and then will process in training process and will be evaluated Based on research and testing, the accuracy of mask recognition is 96% percent but, the accuracy to find between the mask and without a mask, obtained 78%. There are several factors that affect the detection results,they are distance from camera to object too far and intensity of light affects detection result. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
