Nanofluids have been gaining a lot of traction within heat transfer technologies, due to their superior thermal properties over through the conventional fluids. The influence of Al2O3-water nanofluid, as such a working fluid, upon its performance of a flat-plate solar collector (FPSC) was experimentally investigated in this study. The nanoparticles had a weight fraction of 0.2 to 0.4% and a diameter of 25 nanometers. The studies were conducted out in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, at latitude of 27.2046° N and longitude of 77.4977° E. The nanofluid's mass flow rate ranged from 1 – 3 Lit/min. The findings suggest that employing nanofluids as kind of working fluid increases efficiency when compared to utilizing water as such an absorption medium. The performance has been increased 28.47 % for 0.2 weight %. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
