Understanding the acoustic properties is crucial when building a novel material system. There has been an increasing need for improvements to aviation, railroads, and automobile interior noise over the previous two decades. Interior noise is harmful to people's health and lowers passenger comfort. The use of sound-absorbing material is one of the most effective noise-control measures. The most prevalent industrial sound absorption and insulating materials are mineral fibres, composites, and foam. Sandwich Structure has a greater cost-cutting and weight-saving property. Bio-sandwiches are utilised in aeroplanes, trains, and vehicles because of their increased strength and lower density. Researchers conducted numerous tests to better understand the acoustic performance of laboratory scale specimens. During their research, the researchers tested and reported on the high and low frequency acoustic properties of natural fibre. Even though there is more to analyse in the literature, categorization is necessary in order to move forward with more research on this topic. Experiments, data collection, presentation of results, data correlation, and interpretation are all instances of obstacles. The current review was also called into question in order to have a better knowledge of the acoustical qualities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
