Ozone studies have received much attention worldwide mainly because of the adverse effect to human and environment. This study aims to investigate the behaviour of ozone concentration from different types of monitoring stations in Klang Valley, Malaysia namely Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya and Klang. The box counting method is used to examine the existence of scale-invariance in the ozone concentration time series. By applying this method, the ozone time series are transferred into the box dimension (DB) - threshold (Th) plot and the result from this plot are compared to the traditional statistical parameters. The analysis obtained confirmed the existence of scale invariance in the ozone time series and this result are used to characterize the behaviour of ozone concentration time series based on different types of monitoring stations.
