There is evidence to suggest that Malaysian housemen are becoming more burned out. This study examines relationships between role ambiguity, organisational justice, organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB), and burnout among housemen at the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MoH). The questionnaire was distributed at random to the study's participants. PLS-SEM was used to analyse the data (version 4.0). The quantitative technique was used to distribute a questionnaire to housemen at 15 public hospitals in Malaysia. The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method was used to analyse the data. The MoH can be advised to use the study's results to pinpoint elements of role ambiguity and OCB that can reduce burnout among Malaysian housemen. According to the research, organisational justice and OCB have positive effects on burnout while role ambiguity has a negative effect. In Malaysian public hospitals, the results show that two independent variables can reduce housemen's burnout. However, role ambiguity did not lessen the importance of burnout among housemen. In order to draught and implement the necessary policies, top management in all public hospitals will use the study's findings as a guide. If the nation can find a way to lessen housemen burnout by managing the implementation of policies that are related to role ambiguity and OCB, it might be able to better serve the communities in the future. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of organisational justice and organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB) on burnout among housemen who work in Malaysian public hospitals. Health institutions have the highest employee attrition rate due to housemen not doing their duties. Two organisational factors, which are organisational justice and OCB, have been investigated as the potential determinants of burnout in this study. Additionally, age and ethnicity have been analysed as moderating variables in this study. To obtain the relevant data, 417 questionnaires were digitally distributed to 15 public hospitals operated under the Ministry of Health (MoH) of Malaysia in the urban zones of the country. 417 housemen filled out the questionnaire in its entirety. The Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) method has been used to analyse the obtained data. Based on the results of the study, housemen's burnout is significantly affected by both organisational justice and OCB. It was interesting to see that the connection between organisational justice and burnout among housemen in this study could only be moderated by age. On the other hand, the relationship between OCB and burnout is merely moderated by ethnicity. The results of this study have significant implications for top management in all of the Malaysian public hospitals with regards to the creation and application of the pertinent justice and OCB policies. Therefore, fresh information on lowering the level of burnout among the Malaysian housemen may assist the nation in better service. Several suggestions for additional study directions are highlighted at the end of this study. The MoH can use the findings of this study to update the strategy and standard operating procedure (SOP) for managing the Malaysian housemen. The results of this study might also change the Malaysian housemen's perspectives on the subject and assist them in preventing burnout while working. Process Automation Systems are widely known to be a crucial element in processing plants worldwide. In an environment that is ever-changing, process automation is applied in industries when possible to mitigate complexities with advance process control (APC) systems specifically leading to higher efficiency, less operator interaction and increased profits. APC is a proven control and optimization technology delivering measurable and sustainable improvements in production yield, coupled with the added value of energy savings. Many researches focused on modelling the Ethylene glycol (EG) production process each with distinct reactors and reactions. On the other hand, the advances on its control system were poor. Thus, this research fills the gap on the implementation of APC for the EG reactor. In this work, a linear based model predictive control (LMPC) is developed and implemented in EG reactor. The aim of LMPC is to control the production rate and reactor temperature for an optimized hydrogenation reactor. The optimal set point used is based on multi-objective optimization approach using £-constraint method. A state-space model is used in the prediction control is constructed with the best fit of 91.51% and 83.34% for EG production rate and reactor temperature, respectively. The LMPC is developed in Simulink and tuned via the MPC design toolbox in Matlab. The LMPC performance was evaluated based on the analyses results obtained from set point tracking, disturbance rejection and robustness test. The results showed that the LMPC can operate efficiently under tight boundary constraint. This sums up that the LMPC can control both control variables under strict boundary conditions. This study investigates the effect of interactional justice (IJ) and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) on burnout (BO) among housemen in Malaysia Public Hospital. This study involve 15 urban hospital in Malaysia. Quantitative method was used in the study to analyse the questionnaire. The questionnaire will distribute to the 800 housemen in 15 urban public hospital in Malaysia. The questionnaire will analyze by using PLS-SEM statistical tool. From the analyze the hypothesis are accepted and significant. The IJ and OCB can reduce the value of BO among housemen in public hospital. The information based on this study will be a valuable guide to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in and decrease the level of burnout among housemen in Malaysia. In Malaysia, the El-Nino phenomenon happen in 2016 was caused the used of home appliances increasing including air-conditioner, fan and air cooler which are used frequently compared to other appliances. This report presents prototype development System for Security and Temperature Control using Microcontroller Based with Smartphone Application. The system has beneficial to reduce human labour besides energy saving and designed for special purposes which can easily maintain the temperature in sorrounding home. The system used several sensors for input parts including LM35 for temperature sensor and Passive Infra-Red (PIR) sensor for motion detector. For security system, the Radio-frequency Identification (RFID) has been used as security input user identification. A microcontroller arduino uno type is used as the system brain in the process part. In outputs part, servo motor has been used as door application while Light-Emitting Diode (LED) and buzzer as indicators when RFID is in use. A smartphone application is implemented in the system which allows the user to control a device remotely including home appliances through Bluetooth module. Synthesis of CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) through solid state reaction route is a common method used by researchers and industries because this technique offers easier of handlings and only a few parameters involved to obtain single phase of CCTO. More investigations on solid state reaction route can keep optimized this route by considering all synthesis stages started from the raw materials. It is important to identify the formation of phases and morphologies each of process stages to understand factors involved for their changes. The raw powders, TiO2, CuO and CaCO3 had undergone mixing process to produce homogenous mixture, decompose at different calcination temperature and also combination of calcination and sintering altogether. Analyses had conducted to study the crystallinities and microstructures of the powders and pellet samples. FESEM micrographs show that the grains formed at different sized each of the stages and XRD analyses have identified the raw powders of CCTO have decomposed and reacted differently when heat treated from 900°C to 1040°C. Due to ion mobility properties, Zn powder had been chosen as anode part in this Zn-air battery study. So, binder is needed to produce the compact form of Zn anode since the powder form will segregate and move freely in the electrolyte. The presence of the binder should be importantly considered if the binder will affect the electrochemical performance of battery. The conductivity test was conducted on binder to verify the ability of natural binder as ionic carrier in porous Zn anode by applying different concentration of KOH. Then, second test is to find out the electrochemical stability window of binder in the different concentration of KOH. The conductivity value increasing with increasing of KOH concentration with the recorded highest value owned by Bacto-agar in 0.2 M KOH, 1.63 x 104 Scm-1. The aim of this study is to characterize the mechanical and physical properties of kenaf fiber mat (KFM) reinforced unsaturated polyester (UPE) composites by introducing graphene as nano filler. The composites were prepared by using hand lay-up and compression moulding techniques. To improve the interfacial adhesion between fiber and matrix, the KFM was chemically treated with alkaline treatment (NaOH) and silane. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) was used to investigate the changes of fibers chemical constituents after treatment. To further enhance the strength and stiffness properties, graphene at three different percentages (0.5, 1.0 and 1.5%) was also formulated into KFM reinforced UPE composites. Mechanical (tensile, flexural) and physical (water absorption) tests were carried out to study and compare that properties of untreated and alkaline treated KFM-UPE as well as the presence of graphene in the composites. The result showed that, the introduction of both silane and alkalized KFM significantly enhanced the mechanical and physical properties of UPE composites. On the other hand, the presence of graphene showed tremendous enhancement in mechanical properties of KFM-UPE composites. The morphological analysis of rupture surface of samples has demonstrated the improvement in fiber/matrix interfacial adhesion after chemical treatment and addition of graphene, respectively. Industrially-manufactured crystalline silicon (Si) solar cell contacts are based on screen printing of metal pastes silver (Ag) on the front and aluminum (Al) on the back surface, respectively. Screen printed contacts are inherently inefficient and requires high processing temperatures. Alternate metal contacts for silicon solar cells based on electroplating have been investigated. Metallization schemes based on electroless nickel (Ni) and copper (Cu) electroplating offers a simple, costeffective, low processing temperature and reduced contact resistivity option for silicon solar cells. An ohmic contact to ndoped emitter is formed with an electroless Ni deposition process using self-aligned approach. This allows Cu electroplating only on the Ni seed layer, which eliminates the need of additional processing for protecting active device regions. This metallization scheme exhibited higher performance with higher fill factors and open-circuit voltages in contrast with screen-printed solar cells. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 is a potential cathode material for 5 V batteries. This material was prepared by the solid-state redox method using nitrate and acetate based reactants. The precursor material was obtained when the mixture reactants was heated at 500° C for 10 hours and calcined at different temperatures in the range between 650 and 950° C for 12 hours. The structures of the synthesized materials were verified with X- ray diffraction (XRD) measurement and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The charge-discharge technique was determined using Solartron 1470. As calcination temperature increases, the well-ordered crystal growth oriented to [1 1 1] direction shows a clear octahedral morphology, which is the characteristic of the typical cubic spinel. The Li/LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 prepared from acetate based reactants calcined at 750° C for 12 h delivered the discharge capacity of 140 mAh/g. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Screen-printed Silver/Argentum (Ag) metallization is used in the photovoltaic industry for the front-side emitter contacts of crystalline silicon solar cells owing to its cost-effectiveness and high throughput. In order to obtain a better understanding for the formation of Ag paste and silicon (Si) interface, the firing treatment was studied. In this research, we compared two Ag pastes (paste A and B), which is widely used for front grid contacts. The best Ag paste will be used in variation of firing temperature as an attempt to get high efficiency. It is found that Ag paste A shows a good I-V curve. The best firing temperature is 800° C with an open circuit voltage at 0.492V and efficiency of 10.49%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
