- Abstract
The traditional grey clustering method is to determine the whitenization weight function threshold subjectively by the experts. Owing to its subjectivity, sometimes errors may occur in the evaluation results. A new method that quantitatively determines the whitenization weight function threshold based on the mean and standard deviation was proposed in this paper. Firstly, the mean and standard deviation of the evaluation index was calculated, and the overall threshold ranges of evaluation indexes were obtained. Secondly, the threshold ranges of every grey class according to the equidistance principle were determined. Then the grey clustering evaluation based on mean and standard deviation threshold was proposed. Finally, a case study was given to illustrate the validity and the feasibility of the proposed method.
