The article presents an analysis of the heat transfer process during the heat transfer boiling in pipes and channels of small diameter. The authors gave an overview of the main calculation methods for determining the boiling heat transfer coefficient. When analyzing the main calculation methods, two common ones were identified: considering convective and nucleate boiling. The specificity of the heat transfer mechanisms for these two types of boiling has been determined. The authors of this article presented a method for calculating the parameters of heat transfer during boiling, taking into account the combined effect of convective and incipient boiling processes. This method will allow you to enter the calculation of the boiling process along the length of the channel, considering the change in the dryness degree. The structure of a two-phase flow is also presented, taking into account the gradual transition from nucleate boiling to convective boiling with an increase in the dryness degree. The technique presented in the work can be used to calculate the boiling process in pipes and channels of small diameter that occurs in various power plants and heat exchangers.
