A study investigated the portion of the salary gap between male and female pharmacy faculty that might be due to discrimination, using methods addressing several issues raised in recent federal court litigation on salary discrimination. Results are reported, and the relevance of historical data (1981-82) is considered. (MSE)

Degrees conferred in 72 pharmacy schools (B.S., B.Pharm., Pharm.D., M.S., Ph.D., and honorary) are tabulated by college, state, and region and ethnic/minority group. Overall, the number of degrees declined five percent, following a downward trend begun in 1977-78, with variation by specific degree. (MSE)

National data on graduate enrollment in 52 pharmacy schools are presented on full- and part-time students, master's and doctoral programs, minorities, discipline enrollments, students' geographic origin (state, Canada, foreign countries), state of residence or country of origin, financial support programs, and percentage enrollment change since in the last decade.
