Abstract

The article discusses Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is a complication of influenza infection that has associated with 33–67% mortality. Topics include consensus criteria, IPA has diagnosed on the basis of clinical and radiological criteria in combination with the identification of Aspergillus species to growth in BAL fluid, and the aggregated 17% occurrence of influenza-associated IPA observed to comparable to the 19% incidence reported by Schauwvlieghe.
