PRESIDENTIAL administrations , *EXECUTIVE power - Abstract
The authors examine the strategies employed by the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush that led to the break down of the U.S. government. They say that the abuses made by President Bush during his term of office is comparable to the misuse of executive power during the Watergate affair. According to the authors, the methods to expand the powers of the executive branch were not directly perpetrated by Bush or Vice-President Dick Cheney but by low-level political appointees.
