Abstract

In this paper optimal design of an induction heating process by using Genetic Algorithms (GAs) and Simulated annealing, (SA) search methods are presented. The optimization is performed in order to obtain a high value of electrical efficiency of the inductor, as well as a minimum nonuniformity of the temperature distribution in the work piece.
