The Yearbook of the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Madrid presents the papers from the XXVI Conference of the Yearbook of the Faculty of Law, which focused on climate change and its impact on different areas of law. The text highlights the importance of law as a tool to address the challenges of climate change and provide opportunities in all legal fields. The contributions are divided into three main blocks: the role of subjects at the international level, the climate impact on different legal disciplines at the national level, and current issues of climate litigation and the relationship between climate change and fundamental rights. The measures taken at the regional level in Spain to mitigate and adapt to climate change are analyzed, as well as the need for coordination between different levels of government. The role of criminal, commercial, and civil law in the fight against climate change is also addressed, as well as the relationship between climate change and human rights. It is concluded that climate change poses challenges to the law and proposes rethinking the legal system in the Anthropocene era. [Extracted from the article]
