This paper proposes a generalized model based on the granular computing to recognize and analyze the traffic congestion of urban road network. Using the method of quotient space to reduce the attributes associating with traffic congestion, the identification of traffic congestion evaluation system is established including 3 first class indexes and second class indexes of 11. The weight of evaluation indexes are sorted by value in descending order, which are calculated based on rough set theory. In order to improve the efficiency of traffic congestion identification, the appropriate granular is determined by the model parameter μ. When μ is larger, the identification is more effective and the run time of model is longer conversely. Experiments show when the value of μ is between 0.8 and 0.98, the effect of traffic congestion identification is comprehensive optimal.

In Taiwan light source (TLS), Bira’s MCOR30 power converter modules are adopted as the corrector magnet power converters, the output is regulated by analog PWM IC that caused nonlinear behavior at zero cross and the adjustment of compensator for different kind of magnet load is inconvenient. To fulfill digital regulation control, the analog regulation IC of Bira’s MCOR30 is replaced by a fully digital regulation control circuit. With plugging the homemade fully digital regulation control card into MCOR30 that the current sensing component is a shunt that save cost of the power converter, the switching losses and output current ripple were reduced and stability of output current is improved. With the fully digital regulation control circuit, the parameters of the compensator for different magnet load are very easy to adjust. In addition, the feasibility and validity of MOSFET switching algorism is simulated with MATLAB Simulink and the performance of this power converter is verified, the output current ripple of this power converter could be within 10ppm, which is beyond the requirement of current TLS corrector power converter and qualified to be used in the future TPS facility.

Foaming machine is a piece of important equipment in the production process of the foam concrete. This paper designed the control system with singlechip as the core of the digital processing. The communication between the singlechip and frequency converter was realized through RS485 port and the automatic control of the working process of the air compression double-bubble foaming machine can come true. The high performance-cost ratio of the single ratio enables the system control to be economical and practical; the touchscreen interface makes it simple to use; and the multi-gear setting also is easy to adjust and control. All these improve the overall performance of the foaming machine.

High-pressure circuit breakers are very important and it undertakes the disconnection and connection control of high voltage transmission lines. It is one of the equipment of substation daily inspection. State of breakers are judged by open and close characters label, so a shape-prior active contour model to realize state automatic recognition of breaker images collected by inspection robot is presented in this paper. Shape-prior active contour model combines the shape information with CV model to build energy functional model, then set up initial position curve by a priori knowledge and drives the curve evolution in minimize energy functional process, the curve position is the character label contour when energy functional shows minimum. We do experiment for the algorithm on different images, demonstrate that the algorithm based on known character contour, have good segmentation results of circuit breaker in the image character recognition accuracy and applicability when the circuit breaker character is actually partial occlusion, local deformation, scale changes.

The energy conversion and the step-down voltage waveform of apiezo transformer are required to achieve an optimal working condition of the resonant frequency. To fulfill this requirement, a reliable and precise instrument is needed to scan the resonant point of the piezo transformer such that its output power performance can conform to the required specification. This paper describes the design and modeling of a new step-down piezo transformer deployed in NSRRC. This transformer is capable of delivering energy conversion with a highly efficient performance, better than that of a traditional transformer, and the voltage transfer ratio is correct. Use ofa simulation circuit model to develop its driver circuit is included in the design of this new step-down transformer. It has been tested and proved to work satisfactorily in power conversion with excellent efficiency and reliability.

The characteristics of interaction between WT wheelchair robot and stair environments is analyzed and possible patterns of WT wheelchair robot during the stairs climbing are summarized, and then the criterion to determine the pattern of the wheelchair robot is proposed. STATEFLOW module in MATLAB is used to simulating the whole stair-climbing of WT wheelchair robot, and an entire analytical procedure about how to determine the pattern by using the simulation curves is given.

Using software builda three-dimension simulation model of theTPS power supplies cable engineering. The civil engineering of TPS (Taiwan Photon Source) will soon be completed. The powersupply cables engineering should be done before the scheduled completion of the civil engineering. To use software (SolidWorks) to build a three-dimensionalcabling simulation model, we obtain detailed cablinginformation because the model is made to scale, 1 to 1. As all components are built into the model of the TPS accelerator, we can build accurately a model of the powersupply cabling project. For example, we can check the position for every cable. We also canestimate every length and the total cable length for purchase and budget control. As we can evaluate the conditions for every power cable to lay the cable tray from the power supply to the magnets, we can lay every cable to follow the sequence in the cable tray. We thereby convert the drawing of the two-dimensional construction graph when we design the finished three-dimensional cabling simulation model. The precise and excellent results are proved in this paper.

In this paper, the principle of kernel-based possibilistic clustering algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm are introduced and the application of the algorithms in fault diagnosis of auxiliary inverter is studied. Several common fault types are simulated by MATALB software. By initializing clustering center of samples based on PSO algorithm, calculating the final membership matrix and the final clustering center matrix based on the KPCM algorithm, the fault samples can be classified finally. The simulation results show that the PSO-KPCM algorithm can be used in the field of fault diagnosis. The PSO-KPCM algorithm even has better results and faster convergence rate than FCM algorithm.

Along with the increasing of structural parameters of a rotary machine, the flow induced excitation on the rotor will significantly increase. By taking two-control-volume model for sealing force, the nonlinear dynamic equation of rubbing rotor foundation was derived. Then, the problem of controlling the chaotic response of the nonlinear rubbing rotor was studied by the adaptive control theory. Numerical simulations on the rotor system were performed with a multi-parameter adaptive algorithm. The numerical results show that the parametric adaptive control method is effective to suppress a chaotic response once happened into a required steady state periodic response. This control strategy is helpful to rotor system design and maintenance.

It detected the canopy temperature of rice via automated infrared imaging technology in the test under different irrigation condition, taking the Idso empirical model to determine the lower bound equation of the canopy-air temperature differences, and so to get the best period of observing the rice water deficit by theCWSI, in addition the relationship of theCWSI, soil water content and transpiration rate were also analyzed. The preliminary test analysis showed that theCWSIcan reflect the rice water stress conditions well.

A identification method via phase space reconstruction and BP neural network was proposed for identifying three types of voltage disturbances (voltage swells, voltage sag, voltage flicker). In this method, firstly, phase space reconstruction was utilized for describing voltage disturbances; secondly, the mean radius of each cycle of phase space trajectory in accordance with the time-domain was extracted from voltage signals; finally, the identification of voltage disturbances was obtained by BP neural network. The simulation results in Matlab show that the proposed method is capable of high accuracy to identify three types of voltage disturbances, and further validates the efficiency of phase space theory in power quality analysis.

For an inverse potential scattering problem of stationary Schrödinger equation, we employ a direct sampling method to reconstruct the support of the potential. Compared with the general sampling method, the method we adopt is applicable even when the measured data (near-field data) are only available for one or several incident directions, and has the advantages of simple computation and insensitivity to noises. By the mathematical derivations, we conclude theoretically that for both two dimensional and three dimensional cases, this direct sampling method is feasible and efficient.
