China is a country with a shortage of water resources, how to use water reasonably and effectively has become a primary problem to most water conservancy workers. Automatically control water supply is an effective resolution. This method deal with the frequency signal on the water level sensor by means of single-chip, thus it can control on or off of the water pump. Water level can be set according to the volume of water pool. Because signal is transmitted via frequency, thus it may avoid the electric leakage and assure safety at the same time. Workers can directly observe the change of water level of water pool on the control interface.

The paper introduced the design parameters of a reclaimed water island engineering in a power plant. The total processing scale was 3.84×104m3/d. The raw water source of this project was the further treated wastewater from municipal treatment plant. The combination of BAF-Lime Conglomeration and Clarification-Filtration was employed in the design for advanced treatment. The operation results showed that the quality of treated water with this process in the reclaimed water island could satisfy the design requirement and the treated water was reused as recirculating cooling water in a thermal power plant.

A unique linear engine system is designed independently using eccentric-slider starting system which has been simulated and optimized. Based on the linear engine prototype, the no-load experiment and normal starting experiment are conducted in order to validate the practicality of the eccentric-slider starting system and research the starting characteristics of the linear engine system. The results show that the linear engine can operate smoothly with the starting system under the control logic based on piston displacement and engine frequency. Meanwhile the top cylinder pressure is 1.0MPa in compression process and the engine speed increase continuously with the peak combustion cylinder pressure above 2.0MPa in the normal starting experiment.

Low carbon road maintenance( hereinafter referred to as LCRM) technology is an important and essential part of the overall low carbon transportation policy in China. The large amount of carbon emission resulting from road maintenance needs to be determined with definitive methods and data to form a basis of measurement of the carbon emission of the road maintenance process. Various road surface maintenance technologies have different environmental impacts and dissimilar levels of carbon emission. When comparing the merits and drawbacks of the various maintenance technologies, not only factors such as the maintenance outcome, road surface quality, serviceable lifespan, costs and the impact on traffic and environment should be evaluated, but also other factors, such as carbon emission of the material used for the maintenance process, carbon emission of the machinery deployed and other amounts released during construction, have to be assessed and measured. This paper will allow for a comprehensive analysis that will help to choose the right road surface maintenance technology that produces the best road surface quality, the optimal economic benefit and the most favourable social and environmental outcome. LCRM protocol should be regulated and promoted by government legislation and through which adoption of the best practices would be encouraged.

In ultrasonic CT of concrete structure, ray tracing technology based on SNELL principle is far more meet the characteristics of ultrasonic propagation. Inversion algorithm of tomography imaging is to solve large sparse equations. Simultaneous iterative reconstruction technique (SIRT) algorithm solves the problem from the mathematical view. According to engineering application, A improved imaging reconstruction method is proposed in the basis. During the data processing of simulation, the data weighting matrix is introduced to increase the proportion of effective information firstly; And then the units without ray passing through is merged with its adjacent units so that the slow-wave in reconstruction section could be changed smoothly by using unit merger method and ensure high resolution in middle section; And finally the image of CT reconstruction is obtained. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm is effective and could meet engineering requirement.
