This paper studies on shrinkage performance of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) material blended with inorganic binder such as cement, lime-fly ash (lime and fly ash) and three ashes (cement, lime and fly ash), with certain intensity used as base course. The erosion, dry shrinkage and temperature shrinkage tests were conducted on the recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) material blended with the three kinds of inorganic binder, to evaluate and compare different types of cold recycled inorganic material shrinkage resistance capability and anti-erosion properties. After analyzing the fatigue test result of three-additives-stabilized recycled mixture, it showed that the recycled pavement mixture owned preferable anti-erosion properties, anti-temperature shrinkage resistance and anti-dry shrinkage performance.

In the engineering practice dry rubber modified asphalt mixture is easy to strip due to the poor adhesion between the rubber particles and asphalt. This paper describes a case study where the rubber-modified asphalt mixture mixed with hydrated lime, cement to improve the adhesion between the asphalt and rubber particles, and improve the road performance of the mixture. Then the additive dosage was determined through laboratory experiment and the pavement performance was verified. The result showed that: the water stability and high temperature stability could be evidently improved with the asphalt mixture added with these anti-stripping agents. And asphalt mixture with 1.5% hydrated lime had the best anti-stripping performance.

To solve technique implement problem of case-based reasoning (CBR) in which there exists mapping relation from multi-feature to multi-feature, key cycles for emergence driven CBR (E-CBR) are studied. The frame of E-CBR is established. Then emergence driven case presentation, case retrieval, case adaptation and case maintenance are studied. Test shows that higher shooting rate of emergence decision on top layer by E-CBR can be obtained than that by conventional CBR.

In this paper, three-dimensional parametric mapping software use Dassault Systemes (SA), a subsidiary of SolidWorks under strong secondary development technology, combined with engine design now used widely in the counterweight model to explore the principles of optimal design of the crankshaft counterweight their method, derived crank weight optimized design model.

Excessive prestressed loss in prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge and continuous rigid frame bridge causes structures appearing different types of diseases. By theoretical analysis on computational expression of effective prestress in curving hole, and distribution of contact stress and experiment about prestressed loss caused by frictional resistance, this paper points out the disadvantages of current effective prestress formula in curving hole. According to the research on the major influencing factors of prestressed loss in curving hole-contact status and friction coefficient μ, it plays a remarkable role on the further analysis of prestressed loss in curving hole.

In ship dynamics research field, large ship moving on sea water is a hot research project of water transportation. The fluidsolid coupling dynamics model of large ship is built by using time-dependent solid dynamics theory and fluid dynamics theory of ship. The linear analysis solution formula of ship deformation is obtained from the linear fluid-solid coupling equation. The hull displacements are obtained and the maximal displacement is found when the wave-hull resonance number becomes an integer.

This study proposed that the origami curriculum can be one of the important educational activities for Grade 1-9 because origami is not only a form of arts, but also possesses the learning functions that involve hand-brain-eye co-ordination and can upgrade learners non-classical logic deduction skills. This study uses Huzitas Axioms and Huzita-Hatori Axioms (HHA) to implement the Web of Origami Simulator (WOOS). WOOS is produced by a computer algebra system (CAS) and it allows users to arbitrarily rotate or zoom origami forms, calculate the length of line segments, calculate area, and measure angles. Moreover, the steps taken can be recorded so that learners can observe the entire process after the activity. WOOSs ultimate objective is to be implemented in the origami or algebra teaching activities of junior and elementary schools.

Bacterial foraging optimization is a relatively new bio-inspired swarm intelligence algorithm and has been successfully applied to solve many real-world problems. However, similar to other swarm intelligence algorithms, BFO also faces up to some challenging problems, such as low convergence speed and easily to be trapped into local minima. To deal with these issues, we incorporate the concept of neighbor topology and the idea of neighbor learning to improve the performance of BFO, called bacterial foraging optimization with neighborhood learning (BFO-NL). Simulation results demonstrated the good performance of our proposed BFO-NL when compared with original BFO.

A multi-objective model is proposed, for export yard space allocation problem in container terminals, with the objectives to minimize the total distance to transport containers and the workload imbalance between blocks. An improved linear efficacy coefficient method is proposed to deal with both objectives in order to formulate the problem as a single-objective integer programming model.

According to the research on the influencing factor of prestressed loss in Curving Hole of friction coefficient, it plays a remarkable role on the analysis about the prestressed loss in Curving Hole of prestressed concrete structure.

The height of vertical pier retaining wall is relatively larger in regions with great height of water. As the retaining wall becomes higher, the cross-sectional area of ordinary gravity pier structure becomes larger and foundation strength needs to be larger, thus there are some restrictions for traditional structure form. This research focuses on new structure forms of high concrete retaining wall and its optimization design for piers in regions with great height of water. This study establishes a nonlinear constrained mathematical model of pier high retaining wall structures. The objective function is cross-sectional area of the pier retaining wall which is restricted by the stability, bearing capacity of foundation and strength of cross-section of retaining wall. This model is solved by fmincon function from Matlab and the results present an economically reasonable cross-section form. This new selection is greatly significant to improve the stability of high concrete retaining wall and reduce the project cost. The new structure is successfully used in a port of Huaihe River and it can be a solution to pier structure selection problem in regions with great height of water in the future.

The technology of multidisciplinary design optimization was elaborated, and the structure principle and dynamic model of HCPE were briefly presented. Based on the minimum volume, the collaborative optimization model of crank-link mechanism was constructed. The approximate response surface models of connecting rod and crankshaft were established by means of ANSYS calculation. By combined with iSIGHT software, the collaborative optimization system was realized, and the calculation speed was improved. The optimized volume decreased by 0.803% under the premise that couldn't change the crankshaft counterbalance. So the mass of the engine is reduced and the performance is improved.

To explore the thermal performance of RC Sandwich Panel with different connectors, three experiments were carried out to develop a study. In the experiments, three RC Sandwich Panels were manufactured using three kinds of connectors, the thermal performance of them was separately tested by corresponding device, and the thermal calculation of every panel was done according to the current thermal code. It is found that thermal performance of the three RC Sandwich Panels will be changed with connector’s variation. The results show that the thermal performance of RC Sandwich Panel using nonmetal connector is better than using metal connector, and the thermal performance of the RC Sandwich Panel using little section connector is better than using bigger section.

This paper presents a novel vehicle exhaust gas measurer based on CPLD. Because P89C668 single chip machine has only a UART, ISP programming port, micro-printer interface and last position machine communication port need to serial communication. To solve this contradiction, interface design is chose for EPM7128SLC84-15 chip, which single chip machine control and use one function. QUARTUS Ⅱsoftware development tool and VHDL program language are adopted. modularization programming mode of CPLD is compiled, which every module has a corresponding VHDL file. The results show that design cost is reduced 18% and development cycle decrease to 15 month, vehicle exhaust gas measurer can meet expectant request.

By the combination of analytic method, based on hiberarchy and gray theory as well as all sorts of the facts of university logistic guarantee in battle, a model of assessment of university logistic guarantee is established. By the test, the model is valid.

In this paper, we lay primary emphasis on the scheduling problem of airport ground service in airline industry, aiming at searching for scientific scheduling method of airport resources and providing a basic operational design scheme to optimize and solve the schedule problem of airport ground service operation intelligently. According to ECS rules, operation structure is optimized and the defect of ECS rules was remedied in this paper.

As an optimization which is of very strong robustness and independent of the concrete areas of the problems, the genetic algorithm are discussed and applied in analyzing the signals of the overlapped peaks more and more. However, whether the Gauss-type or the Lorentz-type spectrum lines, the functions of which are usually very complicated. Thus, it is very difficult to obtain a favorable solution using the genetic algorithm, and there are too many generations of calculation. Therefore, in this letter, the steepest descent algorithm is added to the genetic algorithm. And the fast converged favorable solutions are obtained through simulating the analyzing the Gauss-type overlapped peaks.

Because highway transportation is a main form of logistics, the vehicle Optimization scheduling is the core content of highway transportation decision, and important to improve the logistic delivery ability. Based on highway transportation task in logistics industry, this paper uses the theory about operational research to establish the mathematical model, and analyses combining with the genetic algorithm.

In this paper, based on characteristic analysis of driver training operation, a new approach of information acquisition for driver training is found, which is through extracting acceleration information. The information acquisition device which is under MEMS three-axis acceleration transducer, based on ADXL335 and MCU, can achieve real-time and accurate measurement of vehicles’ three-dimensional acceleration. By comparing the change curve of measured acceleration with the related data of good driver, the existing problems will be found out. In this way, the driver training operation can be assessed in a timely way.

From the exploration of unknown or potentially dangerous environments to doing household tasks, robotic applications require localization, i.e., the knowledge of where the robot is located. Localization systems can use the method of dead-reckoning (DR), but error accumulation is a serious problem. Researchers try to solve this problem by employing one or more reference objects in the environment. Unfortunately, all reference objects need to be reset in a new environment. This study proposes a localization method with an electronic compass and proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control in navigation tasks. Experimental results show that this method has some advantages over the methods mentioned above.
