The objective of this paper provides a numerical implementation procedure of thermo-metallurgical-mechanical constitute equation based on additively decomposition of strain rate. Together with phase transformation kinetics, the macro material properties are determined by assigning temperature dependent material properties to each phase and by applying mixture rule to combine. Then the constitute equation is implemented into general purpose implicit finite element program via user material subroutine. The effectiveness of developed computational method is confirmed by a Satoh test simulation. Simulation of Satoh test demonstrates that transformation induce plasticity has significant effect of the evolution of residual stress and can not be neglected for alloy steel during hot working process.

To investigate the geotechnical engineering properties of polluted soil, ten soil samples are collected from Anqing copper ore, Anhui Province, China. The geotechnical engineering parameters of the polluted soil are measured in the soil mechanics laboratory. Tests results show that the natural density varies from 1.56 to 2.04t/m3, the moisture content varies from 15.36% to 27.87%, the modulus of the compression varies from 1.27 to 8.10MPa, the cohesion force varies from 32 to 210kPa, and the internal friction angle varies from 25.4 to 57.9 degree. Finally, the properties of the shear strength and the compression are studied, and find that the compressibility of the polluted soil is very big, and the relationship between shear strength and the normal pressure conforms to the law of Coulomb.

In-depth analysis of the characteristics of the battlefield on the basis of ferromagnetic targets, according to the problems of magnetic fuse detection system, such as low detection resolution and poor status of target recognition, the new type of magnetic sensors based on Giant Magneto-Impedance(GMI) effect, because of the sensitivity, power consumption, etc. natural advantages, with its fuse detection system for the magnetic core components, combined with fuzzy neural networks, can guarantee that probe nano-Tesla(nT) accurately identify the target within the scope. Then, equable magnetization rotation elliptic is used to simulate the tank and military truck, taking the magnetic moments and semi-focal length, that are Mx, My, Mz and c, as recognition characteristic quantity, and the FNN is used to recognize the tank and military truck including the categories and motion directions. The method achieved good recognition results through experimental verification, and it has great significance to improve detection range and recognition accuracy.

Water-jet guided laser processing is a kind of material processing technology using variable-length water jet optical waveguide. In this paper, by means of the finite element method (FEM), the simulation on drilling with water-jet guided laser was carried out based on thermal effect of laser and mechanical effect origining from shock pressure of shock wave caused by heat-induced explosion and impact of high-speeds water jet. The results show that evaporation and mechanical ablation of molten material is the main form of the material removal, the mechanical effect only contributes the slight deformation to the material with temperature gradient, the rapid water jet cooling after laser pulse played a quenching role in the processing area. In addition, the paper also analyzed the variable tendency of the impact of water jet to workpiece and clarified the scope and trend of the role of water jet.

Laser assisted milling (LAML) is a potential method for machining difficult-to-machine materials such as superalloys and ceramics, which uses a high power laser to focally heat a workpiece prior to material removal with a traditional cutting tool. A laser assisted milling experimental system was set up to investigate the cutting process of LAML of sintered silicon nitride. Effects of operating parameters on cutting forces, chip morphology, surface roughness and subsurface damage were investigated. The results showed the feasibility and advantages of LAML of ceramics including good surface, decreasing cutting force and tool wear, and no micro-crack zones.
