The paper presents a new reduced-order multiple observer which can achieve the finite-time reconstruction of the system’s state associated to a multiple-model. This observer is a combination of a reduced-order observer and a full-order multiple observer. The design of the new observer involves the usage of the Lyapunov theory, the solving of a linear matriceal inequality, and a variables’ change. The steps of the design procedure have been software implemented in order to validate the new reduced-order multiple observer for the case of an aircraft motion during landing.

One way to increase the durability of the machine is active surface coatings using new technological processes such as thermal spray coatings, especially the plasma jet. Was made by coating nickel plating process of the plasma jet knife blade for removal of a group from the grower. In order to emphasize increasing the reliability of these knives by coating with nickel, they were mounted on a cultivator with a lot of knives witness, uncovered, and have been used extensively. Data on wear two groups of knives, coated with nickel and witness uncovered were recorded by photometric methods were processed and plotted statisitic. There was a significant decrease of 66.79% in average wear on the knife blades coated with nickel compared to the control, uncoated.

In this paper we analyze the influence of cutting parameters on the surface quality, surface roughness respectively, processed by turning when heat treated bearing steel, also called hard turning, and processing by turning of bearing steel without heat treatment. We set parameters of the cutting regime influencing the achievement of roughness surfaces which must be within the predetermined requirements if bearing rings exceeding 500 mm in diameter. This analysis will be done by statistical methods using the software Minitab 14.

So far little attention has been given the differences or the compatibilities between CSR and innovation. Few works treats CSR in combination with innovation. What exactly is the relationship between CSR and innovation? Recent phenomena such as open innovation is based on the concept that the stakeholder's dialogue that overlaps with some dimensions of CSR. Being innovative means to bring organizational and technical improvements which will translate into a better position in the market. These improvements don't just aim the product, but the process by which it is obtained and its whole life-cycle. We're talking about a new approach to innovation, namely its orientation towards sustainability. Although SMEs have many features which facilitate implementation of CSR, activities of this type in such organizations are still limited. SMEs managers often make choices that are related to rational management. This leads to divergence between economical and social goals. Through a qualitative exploration of the concepts of CSR and innovation, we wanted to find out from some managers whether there is a link between innovation and CSR in SMEs and whether the activities corresponding to the two concepts overlap in a certain measure.

The innovation process is a sequence of activities that carry out a company's management to produce new products and services for sale. At the same time, the category of innovation processes includes, market expansion activities, and improvement of: supply functionality, production processes, equipment maintenance, distribution channels, service and, last but not least, the perfectioning of the company's administrative and management activities. In this study we aimed to analyze the innovation strategy of firms in the industry in the county of Alba. As a research method we used a questionnaire-based survey. The data collected were subjected to a quantitative analysis. In specialized literature four types of innovation are conventionally defined : product innovation, process innovation, marketing innovation and organizational innovation. Product and process innovation are closely related to the concept of technological innovation and are the categories covered in this step. From the study's result we can see that innovation is a strategic priority for managers of industry in Alba County. They believe that the most important skills for innovation is the ability to anticipate the market's development, to attact innovative people and to develope new innovative technologies.

To re-create a 3D parametrical environment it was used a CAD software which permits to define complex models. First, there were defined the main bone components as femur, tibia and pelvis by using the CT images. The contours of the CT images were transferred to CAD environment where, step by step, and section by section, the virtual bones were defined. The model of the pelvis and of the lower limbs during a virtual walking was recomposed by using kinematic parameters determined by filming the human subject. In this case the entire behavior of each bone component was determined, including that of the tibia. The variations of force and torque which auctioned over the tibia were determined and applied to the fractured tibia with the new models of nails.

The Paper Presents a Study Conducted by the Authors for Mapping of Soil Resistance According to Depth and Space. the Determination of Penetration Resistance Pressure of the Soil was Done in Field, with a Penetrograph, and the Experimental Data were Statistically Analyzed, in Order to Assess the Loading Regimes Faced by the Active Organs of Agricultural Machinery while Working for Soil Processing, for Estimating the Influences on their Durability. A Durability Case Study on a Real Reversible Chisel Type Cultivator Blade was also Conducted, Using a 3D Finite Element Solid Model and Two Classical 2D Models in Order to Determine its Fatigue Response, Using as Loads the Determined Soil Resistance Pressure.

In this paper we will elaborate a statistic analysis on the main parameters which influence the tribologic depositions process of thin TiN layers. The deposition of tribologic layers will be executed on the axes of the supercharging turbines at the automobiles made of C120, the maximum allowed thickness being of 1÷1,5μm. The main stages of the TiN coating operation are washing and drying conditions which we relate to adhesion layer deposited titanium and titanium coating process, the process consists of important elements of the TiN coating (Electron heating time-Argon plasma, electron temperature, plasma heating argon for Bias voltage ramp., Bias voltage temperature ramp., temperature ion cleaning time for coating titanium pressure nitrogen nitrogen temperature) relative to the thickness of the deposited titanium. The operation of coating with a layer of TiN will be done on a DREVA 400 machine at S.C. “Rulmenti” S.A. Barlad. The statistical analysis of the parameters will be done using the Minitab 14 software.
