The internal structure and the working principle of gravity oil-water separator used for self-circulation well-flushing equipment were given. Based on CFD, the flow field was calculated and analyzed with partition plate settings. The influences on separation efficiency were analyzed, according to velocity vector diagrams and oil drop trajectory diagrams. The results show that the location of the primary partition plate is installed more reasonable, the efficiency of separation is more advantage. Also, the structure and size of the primary partition plate and the size of the auxiliary partition plate can influence the efficiency of oil-water separation regularly.

Based on CFD, the flow field was calculated and analyzed with different quantities of horizontal deflectors and inclined deflectors in the separator. According to velocity vector diagrams and oil drop trajectory diagrams with different number of horizontal deflectors and inclined deflectors, the influence rules on separation efficiency were analyzed. The results show that the separation efficiency is improved gradually with the amount of horizontal deflectors increased, and the optimal value of separation efficiency is 3 inclined deflectors.

A hydraulic experimental monitor system for electric submersible pump (ESP) was designed, which contains data acquisition and monitor interface. Data acquisition applied Advantech Data Acquisition and Siemens Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Monitor interface applied Monitor and Control Generated System (MCGS). The results prove that the system can control the speed of ESP and display and record many signals, such as flow-rate, pressure, torque, rotation speed, liquid level, etc. The ways of converting analog signals, processing pulse signal and controlling speed are introduced.

In this study, the main aims were to iron-increasing and silicon-reduction of the iron concentrate by using centrifuge separating technology. Experimental studies were carried out on high-silica ferromagnetic iron concentrate in Dahongshan samples, which contain 50% of iron and 15% silica. Through the experiment, it chooses SLon1600 to iron-increasing and silicon-reduction of the iron concentrate. The optimum condition is pulp density of 20%~25%, feed speed of 1.99t/h, rinse water of 6.4t/h and flushing water of 10.22t/h. The iron concentrate which the grade of Fe is 62.36% and the recovery of 80.47% is obtained and the grade of silica reduce from 14.48% to 5.4%. High-quality iron concentrate is obtained, which has a better effect.

Based on comparison analysis of transcriptome sequencing data, potential genes responsible for xylose fermentation to ethanol were screened and chosen from two model yeast strains of Candida tropicalis and Candida shehatae. Thereafter, key genes were indentified from these candidate genes by the combined method of quantitative real-time PCR detection and metabolism pathway analysis. These genes regulatory mechanism on sugar metabolic pathway were further investigated and illustrated. Four key genes responsible for xylose fermentation to ethanol are determined and confirmed finally as follows: xylose reductase, xylitol dehydrogenase, high-affinity glucose transportor and pyruvate kinase.

Ring-beam supporting technology is increasingly used in coastal soft soil area. Based on a foundation pit supporting case of general hospital in Tianjin, the 3-dim finite element construction was simulated with MIDAS/GTS. According to the calculation, the stress and deformation characteristics of deep foundation pit supporting structure under the ring-beam action in soft soil area, and the surrounding soil settlement is analyzed. The final foundation pit supporting solution is selected between two different schemes. The analysis method and conclusions are useful for design and construction of other similar projects.

When bend-up bars are placed for the shear strength of reinforced concrete beams, the design calculation is tedious with traditional methods. In this paper, an improved method for the row number of bend-up bars was brought up. And the calculating examples were given to compare with the traditional methods. The results show that the improved method in the paper is simpler, more intuitional, and easier to compute without errors.

In this paper, thermal insulating bonding mortar has been produced by the spent polystyrene foam particles, cement, sand, tackifier and water etc. It shows that thermal insulation performance and compressive strength of thermal insulating bonding mortar are similar with those of aerated concrete by comparison tests. In this paper, the new wall is made by thermal insulating bonding mortar and aerated concrete blocks, and the results show the thermal insulating performance of this wall can be improved and its cold bridge impact can be eliminated too. Correspondingly, the energy saving effect of buildings can be improved rapidly.
