Notched fiber-mental laminates are susceptible to damage. Nowadays, damage detection mainly depends on visual inspection and C scan. But the two methods are limited to the technical skill of the inspectors, causing missed detection or even fault detection. This paper devotes to exploring the DIC monitoring technique to assess of the damage process taking place in notched (open hole) specimens under uniaxial tensile loading. Two-dimensional (2D) Digital Image Correlation (DIC) techniques are employed to obtain full-field surface strain measurements of GLARE3-3/2 and GLARE6-3/2 laminate with an open circular hole under tensile loading. Failure modes,damage initiation and progression of notched fiber-metal laminates are characterized and discussed.

Basing on the Image-Pro plus (IPP) technique, a kind of groove filter rod characteristic parameters (such as groove depth, channel ventilation area, number of grooves) measurement system was build. Method: put 5 groups of standard channel ventilation area-known groove rods and 10 pre-cut self-made groove filters under the microscope with the groove sides up, adjust the intensity of the light and the focal length, take the pictures of all. Use IPP to measure all the parameters, and MINTAB to analyze the accuracy and precision of the IPP system. Results: (1) the IPP system is convenient to operate, easy to use and fast to measure the characteristic parameters such as channel ventilation areas, groove depth as well as groove numbers of the groove filters. (2) the measurements for the channel ventilation area, groove depth doesn't exist linear bias. The channel ventilation area precision index GageR&R = 24.66 < 30, and groove depth precision index GageR&R = 26.40 < 30, which means measurement precision is good.( 3)The manual measurement mode and automatic measurement mode of IPP system in regard to the measurement results bear no significant difference (P > 0.05), and can be chosen for different needs. The measuring method provides help in the research of groove filters rod’ tar-reducing mechanism as well as in the increase of production process control capacity.

Hydraulic actuators are widely employed for industrial automation for its high power over weight ratio, functionality in tough operating conditions and low cost. However, the dynamics of hydraulic systems are non-linear and the system subjected to non-smooth and discontinuous non-linearities due to directional change of valve opening, friction, valve overlap and changes of hydraulic pressure acted on valve spool. Taking into account the effect of nonlinear parameter variations such as bulk modulus, compressibility of oil or viscosity of oil, fuzzy logic approach is chosen. Fuzzy control can adapt the inconstant working condition and non-linear system alongside of its robustness. For PWM controlled hydraulic component such as solenoid valve, effective approximation of the flow properties in a solenoid valve is essential. In this paper, the effect of fuzzy logic approach incorporated on pulse width modulation (PWM) controlled hydraulic system is to be investigated and experimentally verified.

Microstrip ring resonator (MRR) sensor was modeled by simple equivalent lumped element circuits in free space based on simulation data obtained from Microwave Office (AWR) simulator and comparison was made with the measurements using the E5071C Network Analyzer. The calculated reflection coefficient, |G| and complex input impedanceZinusing lumped element model were compared with the measurements results. Both results showed well agreement with a little discrepancy, basically due to imperfect soldering. The MRR was designed to have operating frequencies between 0.5 GHz and 4.5 GHz. Room temperature ionic liquids are new emerging materials. However, ionic liquids are applied mainly in Chemistry field and are rarely used in microfluidics although they are also good photoelectric medium material. Here ionic liquids are used as a new type of microfluidic fluids, and the flow performance of ionic liquids under electromagnetic drive is researched so as to promote their application in microfluidics. The flow rates can be up to 3.9μl/s and 9.7μl/s at applied direct-current potentials of 6 and 8 V, respectively, in a 0.5T magnetic field. Meanwhile the time performances of ionic liquids in electromagnetic field are researched. The experiment data are in accord with the theory results calculated by the numerical simulation.

This paper attempts to combine reception robot and multimodal interaction system to broaden the research field of multimodal interaction system. By analyzing the characteristics of the reception robot itself, combined with the design principles of multimodal interaction system, we designed the reception robot’s multimodal interaction system. It has tried action, voice, appearance and other aspects on vision, auditory, tactile and other channels, has a certain significance.

This paper studies about the performance of periodic cubic spline applied on the nonlinear predictive control (NPC) based on receding-horizon cost function optimization. The five-link human bipedal model includes a torso and two legs which has a thigh and a shank in every leg. The periodic cubic spline is used to achieve smooth walking trajectories of every joint in the bipedal model in the sagittal plane. The results show that the tracking error after using periodic cubic spline is smaller than the tracking error before using periodic cubic spline.

DF10 filter rod forming machine produced by Italy GD Automatic Machinery Ltd is the world's fastest filter rod maker adopting the design of dual-channel. To achieve automatic sampling detection on line, a PLC-based automatic separate channel filter rod sampling detection system has been designed. Mainly composed of a sampling and launching device, matching tube, receiving device, a test instruments, PLC control unit and data terminal, the system first samples the filter rods from the two channels, then launches them into the test instrument to measure their physical parameters, and after wards send the real-time feedback of testing data to the data terminal. The application results show that the system has the advantages of convenient operation, high stability, safety and reliability. With an effective batch’s completion rate above 98%, it greatly reduces the labor intensity of operators and QC personnel, and significantly improves the quality control capacity of filter rod production.

There is a clear lack of respect about traditional network adaptive learning system teaching on individualized assessment knowledge and building tacit knowledge, and this paper presents a knowledge model that supports personalized knowledge assessment, knowledge stored in the cloud computing environment, and construct tacit knowledge for learning body, to provide a personalized learning services for learners to achieve user to adapt the system to adapt to the user's system and two-way adaptation, this paper has guiding significance for further studies of adaptive learning systems.

The critical flux was chosen to show surface features of the membrane fouling and it was determined by the flux-step method. The critical flux of on-line coagulation-UF, sedimentation-UF and sand filtration-UF was investigated and its value was 86.5 L/m2h80.5L/m2h and 68.1L/m2h, respectively. At the same time, the increasing rate of TMP were always lower than the corresponding values measured for the short-term flux-step experiments.

This paper analyzes technical features of digital urban management system, and constructs its general structure. This system adopts ten thousand meters unit gird management, and the combination of urban events with urban facilities components, so as to reconstruct the urban management process. At last this design has proved its availability by a practical example.

Mistakes often occurs in map matching when road condition is complex, especially there is island ring, or exit and entrance of highway, in vehicle navigation system. Wrong map matching will lead to wrong map display and wrong route guidance, thus system gives a bad impact to driver. In order to solve this problem, this paper includes an improved map matching algorithm based on NDS, which takes curvature and slope into account. This Algorithm coding has been realized by c and proved its availability at last.

Digital urban management system is an important part of digital city construction and urban components collecting system is base of digital urban management system. This paper proposes a scheme of urban collecting system mainly with collecting urban components information by car-borne road information system and supplementing with RTK survey.

We prepared alginate-chitosan (ALG-CTS) complexes through ionic interaction, and then obtained Cu (II)-imprinted alginate-chitosan complex microspheres (Cu-ALG-CTS) by coupling with ionic imprinting technology. To investigate the effects of experimental conditions on adsorption behavior, we performed a series of experiments including changing the initial concentration of Cu (II) ions and adsorption time. We found that the adsorption capacity increases with the initial concentration of Cu (II) ions. The Cu (II) ions adsorption reaches the maximum of 70.54mg/g after adsorbing for 13h when the initial concentration of Cu (II) ions is 60μg/ml. Cu-ALG-CTS shows much higher adsorption for Cu (II) ions than Zn (II) ions. And the adsorption kinetics and equilibrium adsorption isotherm were further studied.

The approximate realization methods of system with Gaussian characteristics for inductive micro-displacement sensors were studied in this paper. It was assumed that the sensors used were the first-order systems, for such sensors, it was first proved that cascaded systems formed by an infinite number of first-order systems, its characteristics will infinitely approximate to be those of the Gaussian system. In other words, the cascaded system of a finite number of the first-order systems which have the same characteristics is a Gaussian approximation system. This law can also be applied to the second-order systems, and to the first-order and second-order mixed systems. Theoretical analysis shows that the maximum deviation of Gaussian approximation that 16 cascaded first-order systems is 1.4%, and the maximum deviation of the Gaussian approximation that 16 cascaded second-order systems is 0.1%. This law provided a theoretical guidance for the design of the Gaussian system, which makes the application of the Gaussian system for the geometric multi-probe measurement system to be easy and possible.

When density current flowing through width abrupt changed channel, produced local energy loss will have some impact on density current transport. Especially for Xiaolangdi reservoir which has such a complex terrain，this effect even greater. This paper on the basis of turbid density current in width abrupt changed channel studies，through theoretical analysis，obtained the formula about upstream and downstream hydraulic factors and local energy loss. The formula was verified by Xiaoliangdi antetype observation data and channel experiment data, the inaccuracy of results were analyzed, through verification , got the satisfactory results.

The suspension bridge contained damage was made as the object of study. Three different damage conditions for suspension bridge were calculated(conditions 1, the left midspan contains a damaged zone, condition 2, the left end bay contains two damaged zone, condition 3, both sides midspan contains a damaged zone). Using the wavelet analysis theory, solving strain modal parameters of the suspension bridge with cracks by means of Lanczos method. Then the cracks location of the suspension bridges could be identified by the maximum of wavelet coefficients. It can be concluded that the method using wavelet analysis of strain mode is more accurate and more effective through the calculation and analysis of the suspension bridge damage identification. The method can be useful in the suspension bridge damage identification and diagnosis.

The paper chose a three-span continuous steel box girder bridge with horizontal semicircular surface cracks as research object, and the cracks are non-through and unsymmetrical. Solving strain modal parameters of beams with cracks by means of the three-dimensional finite element theory, and applying continuous wavelet transform (CWT) to analyze the strain mode by Haar wavelet, then the position of the cracks could be identified by the maximum of wavelet coefficients. The validity of the method has been proved by numerical calculation and analysis. Some useful conclusions for continuous steel girders bridge have been drawn and it has been useful in surface flaw identification and diagnosis in structures.

Based on the curvature modal damage identification of wavelet analysis principle, the finite element method was applied to analyze the vibration characteristics of the damaged deck arch bridge. Take Haar wavelet as the mother wavelet, through the continuous wavelet transform of curvature mode and then identified the damaged position by the maximum of wavelet coefficients. analyze the damage identification problem under three different damaged conditions (condition 1: only the arch 1 contained one damaged location; condition 2: the arch 1 and the arch 2 contained one damaged location respectively; condition 3: the arch 1 contained two damaged locations and the arch 2 contained one damaged location).This paper provided a valuable reference of damage identification and diagnosis for arch bridge.

Green tea powder and polyphenol oxidase extracted from eggplant has been used to explore the optimum condition for theaflavins synthesis under single factor and orthogonal experimental design. The results showed that pH value had significant effect on theaflavins synthesis. The optimum reaction condition was, under the temperature of 25°C, the system pH value 4.5, substrates concentration 2.5 g/L, and 35 mL crude enzyme with 196 U, reaction time 40 min, then the total content of theaflavins reached to 7.45 mg.

The self-drilling prestressed anchor is a type of ground anchor used to transmit the applied tensile load into soil or rock through cement grout. The paper outlines a general construction procedure using a special self-drilling bit. Based on the load-transfer mechanism, the construction procedure is presented for load-dispersed ground anchors. In-situ pullout tests were carried out for three self-drilling prestressed anchors of the load-dispersed compression type. The test results showed that the ultimate pullout capacity could reach 800 – 1,000 kN. After prestressing, the displacement of the anchor head was decreased by 50 % – 70 % for a low load level and 30 % – 40 % for a high load level, and the displacement induced by elastic deformation was much smaller than that induced by plastic deformation. These results demonstrate that this anchor type is suitable and economical for practical engineering needs.

This research presented the damage identification problem of frame structure using the wavelet transform of strain mode. Solving strain modal parameters of plane frames with cracks by means of the finite element theory, applying the gauss2 wavelet transform to analyze the stain mode of plane frame, and denoising the wavelet coefficients of the strain mode by db3 wavelet, then the location of crack of the plane frame could be identified by the maximum of wavelet coefficients after denoising. Taking one-layer plane frame as an example, this research gave the finite element model of framework with sheet crack (non-through surface crack and internal crack), calculated the strain mode of the structure, and identified the location of cracks by wavelet analysis of strain mode. Results show that this method is able to identify the damage of frame structure. Numerical calculation shows that the approach is effective. This paper provides a valuable reference of structural damage identification and diagnosis in engineering applications.

By means of the wavelet analysis theory, the damage identification of elastic plate was studied. Adopted the finite element method to analyze the dynamic character of the plate and applied the method of Lanczos for calculating the strain mode, and the strain mode is analyzed by mexh wavelet (Mexican Hat wavelet). The location of the declining stiffness is identified by the place where maximum of wavelet coefficients appears. Therefore, this method is applied to the elastic damaged plate. Three types of damaged regions in rectangular simply supported plate are recognized, which indicates this method is effective and accurate. And this method has a certain value in the project application.

The paper has designed a new method of hot air from air preheater heating electrical precipitator ash hopper. Firstly, the connection method of air preheater and ash hopper interlining has been drawn in design sketches. Then, through finding out the optimal design parameters such as diameter, flow velocity and temperature, the optimal scheme has been determined. It came to the conclusion that the new type of heating method has good feasibility and value of promotion.

Laser shock processing (LSP) is a new technique for metal surface strengthening by which residual compressive stress in the superficial layer can be induced to greatly improve the stress corrosion resistance property. The effect of LSP on sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) of X70 pipeline steel welded joint has been studied in this paper. A convergent lens is used to deliver 20 J, 20 ns laser pulses by a Q switch Nd:YAG laser, operating at 10 Hz. The pulses are focused to a diameter of 3 mm onto samples. The power density of laser at the surface of the sample was about 5 GW/cm2. The surface residual stress level after LSP is much higher than before. SSCC behavior of X70 pipeline steel welded joint was investigated using slow strain rate testing (SSRT) in H2S solution. Morphology of X70 pipeline steel fracture surface was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). It has been demonstrated that LSP is an effective surface treatment technique to improve the stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance properties of X70 pipeline steel welded joints.
