Large energy consumption, serious pollution and poor quality of indoor thermal environment are generally seen during construction in villages and towns in China nowadays, leading to poor building insulation performance. Envolope of enclosure of a buidling is key to its insulation performance. Material selection of building enclosures and green design of construction technology are the key to promoting insulation performance of the building as villages and towns in cold region are subject to special geographical position, climate conditions and economic factors. With a focus on research of traditional non-wood fibrous material modification with existing technology and the engineering practice in non-wood fibre roof in villages and towns of cold region, this paper came up with the prospects of its applicatin in the following design strategies including “ecological and conservation-oriented roofing with modified local materials, new hybrid roofing with simplified construction technology and paper tensioning roofing with innovative synthetic materials”.

Based on kinematics characteristic of two-wheeled differential drive mobile robot (WMR) and response characteristic of fact motor drive system, this paper presents the analysis method of the equivalent rotation inertia, and the entire vehicle load is assigned to each wheel, and then the wheel load is converted into the corresponding equivalent rotation inertia of the motor shaft of each wheel, and motion model of WMR are obtained for combining with quasi-equivalent (QE) state space model of double-loop direct current motor systems under variable load and kinematics model of WMR under the load changes. By using speed response data of the actual system and combining with genetic algorithm to accurately identify the model parameters. Finally, through experiments results of the WMR motion model and the second order model respectively comparing with the actual system which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposing method and model.

We design a structured big data management system which can deal with large-scale structured datasets and supports the cross-domain collaborative query. The system employs the HDFS as the storage layer. And it realizes a scheduling engine in reference with the splitting technology of the massive parallel processing (MPP) database. Using this engine, tasks can be split and distributed to different sub-nodes for parallel execution. Through cross-domain querymodule, users can execute SQL commands on the datasets of different datacenters or network domains. Meanwhile, the system supports the distributed deployment, so as to reduce the construction cost by making full use of existing software and hardware resources and equipments. We test the system functions and performance on a 80 nodes cluster, and compares with Hive. The result suggested that system performance is improved by 2-3 times than Hive and the function designed can be performed correctly.

In primary frequency regulation (PFR) using battery energy storage system (BESS), the droop configuration for BESS needs to be considered thoroughly. This paper modified the traditional droop configuration method by considering more BESS`s internal nonlinear constraints and then proposed a variable droop strategy for operation. By doing this, a modified BESS model for PFR was constructed. Finally, the validity of BESS droop configuration method in this paper is testified with a three-area equivalent model based on the data of actual grid. The results show that variable droop strategy is more suitable for PFR than fixed traditional one.

An improved Quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed for 0-1 knapsack problem.In the new algorithm, the inertia weight is expressed as functions of particle evolution velocity and particle aggregation by defining particle evolution velocity and particle aggregation so that the inertia weight has adaptability. At the same time, slowly varying function is introduced to the traditional location updating formula so that the local optimal solution can be effectively overcome. The simulation experiments show that improved Quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization algorithm has better convergence and stability in solving knapsack problem.

According to the distinguishing feature and requirement of vehicle environmental safety monitoring, the application of vehicle operating conditions monitoring with WSN technology is researched. In this paper, we propose a solution of vehicle driving environmental monitoring based on wireless communication network. Also, we will discuss the data acquisition, transmission technology, and the testing and analysis of applications with the WSN monitoring system we build.

Existing wireless control laser pointer with the function of paging PPT in projector can control the move of the mouse pointer. The original problem is that the traditional wireless mouse is unhandy with the mouse pointer moving in frames. To address the difficulty, this project through the camera getting images on the projection screen can first determine the edge of the screen, using frame difference algorithm to extract feature points of the laser light, then call the API of windows and finally move the cursor to the appropriate specified place. Four image processing modules are designed in order to accomplish the process. The result turns out that the mouse can move freely according to the laser spot. Experimental results show that light intensity of the external environment does not affect the control. Moreover, under the normal indoor environment, mouse delay and maximum use of the distance meet the practical requirements.
