In order to reduce or avoid the coal mine accidents, this paper proposes the application of wireless sensor networks (WSN) in the coal mine safety intelligent monitoring system, and discusses the principle and advantages of wireless sensor networks. According to the current situation of low level of intellectualization in coal mine safety monitoring system and the existing problems, this paper proposes the designing proposal and the monitoring mechanism of the coal mine safety intelligent monitoring system, discusses the feasibility, the method and the way of the application of the wireless sensor networks in the coal mine safety intelligent monitoring system.

At present, in many large supermarkets, the trolley management mainly rely on manual, which increases management costs and the burden of work, therefore, the supermarket trolley positioning system is proposed to solve this problem. The positioning system takes full advantage of ZigBee technology’s low power consumption, low cost and ad hoc network, the node module is embedded into the supermarket trolley and positioned by positioning engine, using PC interface developed by VB6.0 to display its real-time position. Field experiments show that its positioning accuracy is less than 3m, The staffs easily know the location of trolleys when they sit in the monitor room. It can reduce the costs and the burden of work.

According to the problem of the temperature, light intensity, and smoke concentration acquisition for the indoor environment, a multi-channel data acquisition system based on ZigBee Wireless Sensor Network communicates with GSM network is introduced. This system taking CC2530 as the main controlling chip, using LabVIEW as the development platform, builds a data acquisition, analysis, query and display system. This system is stable, easy to maintain, and can be broadly applied to the remote real-time data acquisition and control.

Indoor node positioning is a key technology in wireless sensor network but the general indoor nodes positioning algorithm is difficult to meet the precision positioning requirements due to the indoor complex environment such as multilateral positioning algorithm based on RSSI ranging. The weighted multilateral positioning algorithm is proposed based on time reversal ranging to solve the problem. We simulate within 50m*50m area, the experimental results show that the ranging error is less than 1%. The maximum positioning error is less than 0.6m. Compared with general positioning algorithm, it can improve the positioning accuracy greatly in complex environments and has general applicability.

Rotary air preheater is adopted widely in large power plant boiler,due to poor working conditions, inside rotary air preheater,plugging ash and corrosion happens easily,causes the rise of exhaust gas temperature,fan resistance increases,causes serious damage to the safe and economic operation in power plants,so heat transfer and flow of the rotary air preheater remains to be further optimized.By studying the working characteristics of rotary air preheater, simplifies the rotational structure of the rotary air preheater to a cuboid wind tunnel,internal layouts more groups of heat transfer components,through periodic switching valve,changes the flow of hot air and cold air,alternating flushing heat transfer element,simulating the unsteady heat transfer process of rotary air preheater. Experiment with NF heat transfer components,getting the convective heat transfer coefficient and resistance coefficient of this heat transfer element under different wind speed,verifies the feasibility of experiment system research on the heat transfer and flow characteristics.

Recently, an efficient homotopy method termed the nonlinear homotopy method (NLH) has been proposed for finding DC operating points of MOS transistor circuits. This method is not only efficient but also globally convergent. However, the programming of sophisticated homotopy methods is often difficult for non-experts or beginners. In this paper, an effective method for implementing the MOS NLH method on SPICE is proposed. By this method, we can implement the MOS NLH method from a good initial solution with various efficient techniques and without programming.

The massive data in Data centers network will be frequently accessed massive datasets for cloud services, which will lead to some new requirements and becomes an important issue for interconnection topology and data management in cloud computing. According to the cost-effective, the paper proposes a new interconnection network MyHeawood for cloud computing. MyHeawood is constructed by small switches and servers with dual-port NIC according to recursive method. The data placement strategy in MyHeawood is a hashing algorithm based on the family of hash functions. MyHeawood uses three replicas strategy base on master copy, which is allocated in different sub layer to improve the reliability of data.

With the rapid development of cloud computing, there are many storage structures have been proposed for satisfying cloud-based softwares requirements. Most existing distributed storage systems focus on a certain objective and only provide a certain storage structure. In this paper we present a novel block-level distributed storage system named Flex which integrates storage resource dispersed on the network into a whole one. Flex uses a device mapping framework to create dynamic and flexible storage structures for users. We have implemented the prototype and evaluated its performance; results show that Flex can provide a high performance in diverse storage structures.

Chlorine dosing is a complicated system with time delay, time-varying, non-linear and coupling. In this paper, multivariable adaptive generalized predictive controller based on Smith predictor is proposed. Instead of the optimal predictor, the Smith predictor with adaptive identifying parameters can increase the robustness of the MIMO system. Simulation and application in water-works at Suzhou (China) shows that the algorithm can overcome time-varying, time delay and disturbance.

Aiming at the problem of maintenance and it is difficult to find the fault caused by optical parts fretting. By means of mathematical tools to express optical parts imaging laws. With the computer simulation technology, combining with optical fretting theory and practical problems, producting a set of simulation software and showing the influence of optical parts fretting. The results show that the fretting of optical elements influence the imaging effect and firing accuracy. For the maintenance training of universal and serialized sighting telescope, the simulation research provides technical means.

During drinking water treatment, the chemical dosing processes, such as coagulant dosing process, ozone dosing process and chlorine dosing process are usually manually operated based on the operator knowledge and experience. However, due to the variations of water quality, water flow and process operational conditions and characteristics of large time-delay and nonlinear for the chemical dosing processes, it is difficult to adjust the chemical dosages in time by operators to keep the treated water quality stable, especially during the periods of rapid and frequent variations of water quality, water flow and process operational conditions. Thus, the improvements of control methods for the chemical dosing processes are essential to the operation of drinking water treatment plants. The Xiangcheng Water Treatment Plant in Suzhou, China has been utilizing the automatic control for chemical dosing processes since February 2012. Automatic controllers are designed respectively for the coagulant dosing process, ozone dosing process and chlorine dosing process. After the implementation of automatic control, operators are not necessary to keep constant attention. In addition, due to the improvements of control accuracies for the chemical dosing processes, the chemical dosages are reduced on the premise of ensuring safe water. Thus, both of the human resource costs and material costs can be saved. The practical control results demonstrate the efficiencies of proposed methods.

In order to improve the control precision of the piezoceramic actuator in precision position system, a dynamic modeling of Ultra-precision Positioning System is proposed. A two-step identification strategy is adopted in this paper. Step 1: The linear model was identified based on step input response by least square method. Step 2: According to the step.1 result, the designed nonlinear observer was applied to estimate the output of hysteresis by Fast Tracking Differentiator. The polynomials are used consistently approximate continuous functions of f(.) and g(.) in the Duhem modeling based on the theorem of the Weierstrass polynomial approximation theory. Recursive least square methods are developed to identify α and the coefficients of the polynomials in Duhem model. At last , the simulation results show applicability, rapid convergence velocity and high calculation accuracy of the algorithm.

To mitigate multiple access interference and improve the system capacity, an effective multiple access scheme, called GCDMA, is proposed. Exploiting the IDMA iterative multiuser detector in each group, the intra-group interference can be effectively handled. Analysis and simulations demonstrate that the proposed technique outperforms the conventional CDMA in terms of both system capacity and bit error performance. Lower complexity of the proposed scheme can be achieved than CDMA and even IDMA.

We are witnessing the rapid development of Cloud Computing techniques and services. Cloud Storage is widely applied in nowadays research and industry community. One of the most hottest topic in cloud storage is the data reliability. To ensure reliability under the condition of inexpensive hardware, several techniques are discussed and applied. We simplify and analyze the data reliability by a markov model, which includes the discussion of correlated failures and rack-aware placement. Our model aims to tell the effect of rack-aware placement for cloud storage systems.

In wireless cognitive radio networks (CRNs), user will send the sensing data to neighbors for spectrum allocation. Actually only part of data will affect the allocation result. The transmission of unused sensing data isn’t cost-efficient because it consumes a great deal of computing and network resource, especially for CRNs in which the spectrum and power resource is very precious. We propose an improving transmission availability algorithm— SkyChannel Query, which can find the non dominated channels and only transmit information of these channels. The experimental results show the advantages of our algorithm in terms of saving computing resource and improving transmission availability.

The consistency problem is one of the key issues to determine system functionality and performance in DVE systems. The existing methods often cannot satisfy the requirements of order consistency and interval consistency at the same time, or impose a constraint relationship on receiver nodes which brings difficulties to optimize responsiveness. In this paper, we propose a novel interval consistency control method based on B-Tree data structure. The method can improve the overall responsiveness without compromising consistency functionality. Experimental results prove that our method can effectively improve the functionality and performance of DVE systems.

Based on the back propagation multi-layer forward feed neural network, the neural network model is built for the dielectric sensitive structural parameters between the equivalent permittivity and the equivalent permeability, which is used to analyze the basic left-hand materials(LHMS) structural. The experimental results show that the analysis time is 145.535648 seconds and the training mean error is 0.000113426 while adopting the scaled conjugate gradient method. The results are coincident with these ones by the full wave method, satisfying the engineering demand, reducing the faults caused by thickness resonance in the traditional numerical analysis method, realizing the coexistence between the high analysis precision and the high efficiency of the left-hand materials.
