Through a pot experiment using rotatable central composite design (RCCD) with three factors, five levels, twenty runs, fine root biomass yield (BY), total length (TL), surface area (SA) and total volume (TV) of clone 004-1 ofCatalpa bungeiseedlings under different treatments was determined, and then the mathematical models were established to study the main factor effects, monofactor effect and coupling effects of soil water(W), nitrogen application (N) and phosphorus application (P) on fine root biomass yield and morphological characteristics ofC.bungeiseedlings. Results showed thatNhad a significantly positive effect on BY, TL, SA and TV,Phad a significantly positive effect on BY, TL and SA,Whad a significantly negative effect on TL and SA, and the size sequence of main factor effects was:N>P>W. Monofactor effect analysis results showed that the values of BY, TL, SA and TV first increased and then decreased withNincreasing, and BY, TL, SA increased linearly withPincreasing. ForW, TL, SA decreased linearly and TV first increased and then decreased withWincreasing. Interaction ofW×Nhad a significantly positive effect on BY, TL, SA and TV ofC. bungeiseedlings, and the values of four parameters increased gradually withWandNincreasing. However, interactions ofW×P,N×Pboth affected four parameters non-significantly. In conclusion, root biomass and morphological characteristics ofC. bungeiseedlings showed distinct responses to soil water and fertilizer factors, andW, NandPalso influenced fine root growth ofC. bungeiseedlings differently. We recommended that fine root growth ofC. bungeiseedlings could be promoted by the rational method combined irrigation and fertilizer application.

Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems support direct communication and control between brain and external devices without use of peripheral nerves system and muscles. BCI can convert electro-encephalogram (EEG) to the control signal to try repairing function for patients. So the study of BCI can improve the life quality of the patients. This system acquires EEG signals due to the left/right hand motor imagery among the normal subjects. For the processing of motor imagery EEG, we adopt the feature extraction method of second order moment in specific frequency band and the feature classification of linear discriminate analysis. Through the analysis of motor imagery EEG, we convert the data results into external control signal to control the movement of the cursor displayed on the computer. The experimental results show that the EEG analysis method makes it feasible and effective for disabled patients communicating with the outside world, and provides the basis for further study of brain-machine interface. Keywords: EEG; motor imagery; cursor movement; second-order moment.

This paper combines the feasible direction into genetic algorithm. This method can lead the individual to optimal solution region along feasible direction which approach the optimal solution sets. Through evaluating the degree of distance between chromosome and constrain, we introduce membership function into traditional GA and embed the information of infeasible solutions into fitness function. Propose a self-adapting evaluation function. This method can readjust the weights according to current group and then get the stress of searching to the ideal positive point. This paper studied the calculation method of basic reserve fund (BRF) based on distribution fitting and Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) in power grid construction project (PGCP). BRF copes with the various unforeseen expenses in the process of budget compilation. Nowadays, the measuring method with fixed rate cannot adapt to the request, because of the BRF with larger uncertainty influence factors. MCS technique can achieve a good simulation to solve the problem of uncertainty. The research first uses MINITAB to analysis the distribution of various influence factors, then uses MATLAB to build calculation model to take the stochastic simulation for many times, finally gets a more realistic BRF. A case from China is used to confirm this calculation method works well.

A Multitude of different prosthesis designs have been developed for restoring transtibial and transfemoral amputees’ mobility. But yet, most of them are considered as passive devices. Therefore, more and more researchers develop bionic controller that simulate the biological certral pattern generator, namely CPG.This paper presents a new control method using bipedal robotics technology and bio-inspiration based on CPG.To begin with,we present the fundamental measurement of human walking gait and the device mainly includes three-dimensional camera system, digitized movements analyzer and so on.We choose hopf oscillators as CPG simulation unit. And after several tests, five oscillators are just right for a single joint. We change the simple hopf oscillator equation. Thus corresponding to the knee,CPG modeling finally generate actual human angle curve. Then we define learning equation as learning a given periodic signal.By trying different values of the different parameters we obtain the desired walking curve of knee joint.Using the obtained parameters, learning equation reproduce knee joint angle.According to the signal of the accelerometer that placed in the hip to adjust learning equation,so the amputees can easily control the speed of walking.Matlab simulation results show that the same trend with changes in human joint angles, which lay a good foundation for the control of active prostheses.

Ozone production with Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) is a typical example of the applications of low temperature plasma technology. The most critical process is to inject power into the DBD reactor. But because of the characteristic of DBD reactor, the voltage and current of power supply are distorted severely and make the measurement of input power for DBD ozone reactor even hard. This paper, based on Quasi-synchronous sampling algorithm, establishes the input power measurement systems of DBD ozone reactor and achieves the online real-time monitoring input power of DBD ozone reactor. The experimental results prove that the relative errors of more than 95% is less than0.3% between power measurement system based on Quasi-synchronous sampling algorithm and the measurement data with oscilloscope.

Several air cylinders are employed in complex equipment in pebble-bed high temperature gas-cooled reactor. They were designed to actuate remote movements in radioactive environment. An electromagnetic self-locking device was designed to lock them in safe position when the compressed air source is offline by accident. But the disadvantageous temporary standstill of armature in unlocking process still needed to be eliminated. Maxwell 2D transient analysis was performed to simulate the armature motion and compared with the experimental results. A comprehensive understanding was then achieved, and the parallel capacitor solution to the standstill problem was developed. With further numerical simulation and experimental verification, the self-locking device with capacitor connection was optimized. The armature motion was accelerated and the standstill was eliminated. The maximum temperature rise did not exceed the material limit value yet. The as-improved device would help guarantee the fail-safe feature of the cylinders.
