- Abstract
The APT Building Technology Heritage library is primarily a collection of American and Canadian pre-1964 architectural trade catalogs, house-plan books, and technical building guides. Trade catalogs are an important primary source for documenting past design and construction practices. These materials can aid in the preservation and conservation of older structures, as well as other research goals. Each issue of the APT Bulletin features a few catalogs that relate to the articles in the issue. This issue showcases the recent addition of materials from the International Masonry Institute (IMI) library. The IMI collection contains quite a few early-twentieth-century technical publications on masonry construction, which make excellent additions to the BTHL. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
