In order to ease the contradiction between people and land and ensure the needs of construction land and farmland, this paper analyzes the demad and regional land development background, and points out the problems of the development of the land in China: late start of land development and utilization practices; declining back-up resources and shaply increasing costs; new resources and environmental problems brought about by development and utilization of land in some areas. This paper presents a new opportunity and strategy for land use transition : giving full play to the aricultural and geographical advantages of farming-pastoral area; carrying out water-saving technologies and intensive use of agricultural land in water-deficient areas, in order to achieve reasonable and efficient development and utilization. In order to promote the development of agricultural large-scale operation in China, this paper constructs a calculation model for agricultural moderate large-scale operation to estimate moderate operation scale of China's major crops and different agricultural varieties in different regions based on the analysis of present situation of agricultural moderate large-scale operation. The results show that the national average moderate operation area of grain is7.3 ha; the average moderate operation area of vegetable, cotton and apple is 0.61, 21.42 and 0.37 ha, respectively; the average moderate scale of hog and sheep is 388 and 234. 8, respectively. In addition, for diferent varieties of agricultural products, we estimate their moderate scale in diferent provinces. The study provides a scientific basis for speeding up agricultural land transfer and resizing moderate large-scale operation, and sets forth corresponding recommendations on this basis. Circular agriculture helps to solve the drawbacks of traditional agricultural production and achieve unified economic and ecological benefits, consistent with the concept of sustainable development. Based on the theoretical perspective of circular agriculture, this paper builds the evaluation indicator system for circular agriculture in Sichuan Province, and uses the coefficient of variation to evaluate the current situation of development of circular agriculture in Sichuan Province from 2000 to 2012. China's urban agricultural development takes on stage evolution, and functional structure, customer structure, industrial organization, innovation activity, spatial form and industrial value of each stage has significant difference. Using the system variable analysis method, this paper established the urban agrcultural development system including six types of functional variables. On the basis of summarzing stage characteastics, it analyzed reasons for stage characteristics focusing on four key variables, i. e. cost, efficiency, connection, and risk. This paper studied soil erodibility of slope farmland in Guizhou mountain areas by the plot runoff method, analysis and test. Results show that the variation coefficient of erodibility K value calculated according to formula introduced by Sharply is low and relatively stable and accurate, so it is a suitable method for calculating erodibility K value of slope farmland in Guizhou mountain areas. K value of layer A slope farmland decreases with increase of years. The erodibility of entire soil layer is high, and the erosion resistance is weak. From the influence of different planting system and use types in 4 year, K values of different soil layer decrease, average reduction of A, B and C layers reaches 3. 17% -11. 64% (1. 26% - 12. 34% for layer A, 1. 29% - 13. 80% for layer B, and 1. 26% - 10. 80% for layer C). Except engineering terraced treatment, the decline of K value of grassland, zoning crop rotation, economic fruit forest, grain and grass intercropping, plant hedge, and mixed forest treatment is higher than farmers' treatment, and the decline level is grassland > zoning crop rotation > economic fruit forest > grain and grass intercropping > plant hedge > and mixed forest treatment. Planting grass and trees is favorable for lowering erodibility of slope farmland and improving farmland quality. Interlanting of corns with other plants can increase plant coverage and species, so it is favorable for improving erodibility of slope farmland. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
