FeCl3‐catalyzed diastereospecific synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo[a]acridin‐5(6H)‐ones from enaminones was described. Single diastereoisomers were obtained in good to excellent yields. Two C−C bonds and three contiguous stereogenic centers were formed. An FeCl3‐catalyzedhighly diastereoselective synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo[a]acridin‐5(6H)‐ones starting from enaminone derivatives was developed. Two C−C bonds and three contiguous stereogenic centers were formed. At the same time, the reaction also had the advantages of high atom economy, mild conditions, and excellent yield.
