The article discusses the changes in ownership and stewardship of the quality use of medicines (QUM) objective in Australia. NPS MedicineWise, an independent organization that worked alongside the government, has been closed, resulting in the distribution of its activities and resources to multiple organizations. The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) has become the custodian of many assets, while other activities are under review. The article highlights the need for a shared agenda and governance network to improve QUM nationally and serve stakeholders and audiences better. [Extracted from the article]
