The paper proposes a predictive approach to assessing special classes of dangerous states in the development of technological processes in order to make proactive decisions. The developed approach is based on a hybrid model based on the combination of an evidence-based classifier, fuzzy logic, and a Dempster–Shafer probabilistic scheme for evidence combination. The article presents a formal description of the predictor of critical states of the technological process. The resulting approach is universal and applicable in the automation of any complex technical systems. As an example, this article considers the application of the developed approach to solve the problem for assessing the safety of the technological process of shunting trains on a hump yard. In this paper we propose a model for taking into account International Monetary Fund (IMF) mebers’ preferences to coalesce based on joint membership in political end economic organizations beyond the IMF and on regional proximity. We show and validate a mathematical model of multicriterial preferences, in which the preference relation is formed with interval estimates of relative tradeoffs of values of one criteria with values of other criteria. A unified approach to decision making with extremal many-criteria models, expert estimates, and voting is developed on the basis of reference and distance concepts and taxonomy methods. Problems of optimal indirect control are considered. It is assumed that information on the behavior of a controllable object first arrives at a control element that generates control signals for a dynamic controller. Using the external energy, the dynamic controller produces control actions of required power that enter the input of the controllable object. Control signals and actions are bounded by geometric constraints. The aim of control is to transfer an object to a prescribed terminal set with the security of a maximum value of the terminal quality criterion. The problems under consideration, which contain phase constraints, are solved by means of the earlier developed methods of solving the problems of optimal control of dynamic objects with simpler intermediate phase constraints. In this case, the main attention is given to the use of these methods for the effective implementation in real time of positional solutions (optimal controls of the feedback type). A method of constructing an adaptive control for reference-model systems under an unknown bounded external perturbation in the form of sum of an unbounded number of harmonics is designed. Proposed was an approach enabling one to reduce studies of the properties of ordinal relations for criteria with an arbitrary (including finite) set of values to similar problems for relations defined over the entire n-dimensional real space Rn. It enabled one to prove that all main findings, methods, and algorithms obtained previously for the ordinal relations on Rn can be extended in arbitrary criterial spaces to the ordinal relations with the criterion scale cardinalities not less than three. Consideration was given to a model of the multilevel hierarchical structure whose elements strive to maximize the difference between the stimulation and the costs of managing the subordinated elements by reorganizing the inferior structural part. For different variants of information about the cost functional, solved was the problem of choosing the optimal stimulation that provides an equilibrium structure (where restructuring is not advantageous to the elements) with the minimum total payments. A new approach to the decision making in automatic control systems (ACS) under conditions of a risk is suggested, which reduces to the use of a risk function as an equivalent criterion along with the initial one. It is assumed that only the bounds of changes of uncertainties are known, but any statistical characteristics are unavailable.
